PoliticsRe: Igbos Have Hijacked The Nigerian Economy- Junaid Muhammed by Remarkable: 11:14pm On Oct 26, 2014
You need to be quiet, right now.

When other tribes do the same thing, you all look the other way, but Igbos do the same, and every one remembers the gospel to preach.... such hypocrisy is despicable.

if an Igbo group makes noise about Biafra... "Aha, Igbos have come again and want Biafra!"

or you mean to tell me you have not seen an Igbo politician say something that you all take as the opinion of all Igbos?

Why do you guys enjoy doing this? why?

lacasa:
From the Interviewee to those that commented on the thread especially the narrow minded lot that generalize a random interview of one old cargo with no regional representation of the Northern people and their public opinion, are all a classic example of why Nigeria and its unending travails continue to liger on with us.

so, if one slowpoke named junaid Mohammed spills gibberish as he just did, then it is sanctioned as public opinion for the whole north??.

and as is, the forum has gone into a frenzy, drooling with hate speech and stupid talk.

man, I do nnot think it is time for Biafra yet... there is still some juice left in the orange called One Nigeria we are sucking from....

I say we still refuse to split this country, milk it as much as we can.... to the point they will have to beg us for a division...

I have a feeling that it is when they are ready to divide that they (the other major ethnic groups that want division) will support an Igbo for presidency.... (based on the myththat an Igbo presido will declare Biafra... ) but the joke will be on them!

Once again, maybe for the last time today... Up, Nigeria! One Nigeria!!!
mekadinho:
Meeen... See hatred, and this man man is an elder statesman? Its time we vote on weda we wanna remain in one NG. Everybody is just tired of this country, yorubas want Oduduwa, Niger Deltans want Republic of Niger Delta, Igbos want Biafra, Hausas want Arewa, everybody is just tired.

on point, nwa naaa, very well said... I have said this here before... the one Nigeria they fought for, we will give it to them to their satisfaction.

it is on this NL that a SWner said she wished Igbos will attempt to secede again, that this time they (Yorubas) will support them Biafrans....
they no longer want One Nigeria....

The middle-belt nko?

north east/west?

who is benefiting from One Nigeria? besides the elites of course...

There is a loser on here that is obsessed with Igbos getting the presidency, or not.... I believe indirectly he wants that to happen.... they think denying an Igboman Aso rock equates to holding down the Igbos in Nigeria... haha they are on a long thing!

killing 3 million of us did not hold us down, Aso rock is not .. wil not be our savior either;

our savior is "one Nigeria" let us enjoy it all!

One Nigeria!

vanbonattel:
what these people failed to notice, was that the Igbos started to fight another civil war in this country immediately after the first one ended. They spread out into every state and secretly started buying up assets. Since Awolowo cornered all companies and sol d shares to Yorubas, igbos moved the other way and bought all available lands. Including yoruba land and lagos, which is a no mans land anyway. grin

the housas and yoruba won the civil war. But lost the ensuring peace cheesy

My friend, let me teach you something....

first of all, do you know why (it seems) Igbos like a northerner than a SWner?

its because of the words of the mouth... and the ability, or lack thereof, to back it up, stand by it, and possibly die by it.

When you are running your mouth like tap water... watch your comments and say what you know.

see how I asked you a simple question based on what you said, and yo began dancing azonto.

Not only did you run away from your previous comment, but now trying to put words in my mouth by spinning my comment (that you are being dominated in Lagos).

so my friend, Ebankole, say what you know and know what you say.

Okay? (just say "yes" and thank me if you wish, to end this back and forth, cause really, I don tire for you lol)

each time a person is asked why he or she hates an ethnic group or race, and they say "I have a friend/family that is ..." of the said race, it just confirms for sure the accusation... at best, it doesn't prove nadda.... this man is really a loser because he is frustrated and can NOT do anything about it; worst he can do is incite violence... but we all know that has not stopped an Igbo man from progressing in (one) Nigeria....

Nirinda is a beautiful girl from India!

Today is sunday

"
ratiken:
Disclaimer: All opinions are mine

With the recent holier than thou attitude being put forward by Gov Fashola, It has become pertinent that we remind ourselves what manner of man he has been in the past 7.5 years.

1. It is on record that Tinubu is one of the most corrupt individual this country ever produced who went on an accumulation spree of every viable state asset. However, I wonder how a 'non corrupt' Fashola can seamlessly work with an extremely corrupt Tinubu for 8yrs without friction while they both accumulate all state assets to their personal names. Two cannot work together except they agree. It seems Tinubu accumulated more state resources under Fashola's tenure than his own tenure. One can categorically conclude that Fashola is either more corrupt than Tinubu or just a plain dummy/ foot soilder

2. There is still no justification to installing toll plazas on existing roads. The Lekki- Epe expressway that serves the fastest developing area of lagos state should have received fair and untolled attention but out of the dirtiness of heart of the corrupt duo of Fashola/ Tinubu.... it was tolled to their own company. When the masses trooped out to protest against it, Fashola's touts were unleashed on them even to the extent of death of a protester. If every state governor tolls roads which is a basic necessity like Fashola did..... ours would have been a mortgaged country

3. Till date, Fashola have refused to open up the state books to the public consistent with the Freedom of information bill adopted at the federal level. He has consistently and categorically refused to be accountable. For the records, LASG with monthly IGR and allocation of 29B and 19B respectively have managed approximately 4.5trillion in 7.5yrs. Unaccountability is the hallmark of irresponsible leadership.

4. How on earth can a sane governor deport non-indigenes within same country at the wee hours of the morning and dump them under a bridge. Every Nigerian indigene has the right to live in an part of the geographical location called Nigeria without a visa. It is also on record that this inhumane act have been carried out by just on governor in our history. .. which is Fashola. This act currently ranks as the highest breach of human rights in Nigeria.

5. Fashola adamantly approved a 1000% increase in the school fees rates for LASU students without any corresponding increase in wage rates. It took wide spread protest and unending strikes that forced the govt to its knee. This is the record increase of school fees in Nigeria and ranks the height of insensitivity

6. Lagos roads are repaired at 2billion/ km by the crony companies of Fashola/ Tinubu. Better roads are built allover the country at lesser rates. Height of lootocracy

The ease at which he criticizes the central govt without acknowledging any single achievement by same govt makes him a mere opposition figure who stands for nothing but mere propaganda.

Now I ask..... What are the highlights of Fashola's govt?
Lagos was a federal capital and Tinubu's govt was the height of hopelessness and such any any road repaired receives lots of hype. What key achievement would Fashola be remembered for?
PoliticsRe: Jonathan Commissions N4.4bn Edo/Delta Link Bridge by Remarkable: 5:52pm On Oct 19, 2014
You sound like one of those that is always in wait to ambush anything that someone, GEJ, says or does...

explaining things out to you or trying to make you change might be an effort in futility... but for the sake of gullible ones that might fall for your confusion and intentionally created chaos... carefully read the part that said:

" ... when the initial contract for the 400 metre long bridge which consists of a 10 kilometer access road which was initially valued at N2.9 billion was awarded in 2006, it was supposed to have been completed in 2008 but was later shifted to 2009.

He said that due to the federal government policy at that time, it was transferred over to the Delta State government which declined... "

the word "consists" means that the 10 KM access road was part of the project...
so lets say a total of 10.4km was bubilt with 4.4 billion naira... and you call that corruption?

other governments did not complete it... the money could have een awarded by this government, and eaten/shared by corrupt people... but GEJ made sure it was completed and you have come here to accuse him of corruption.... are Nigerians ever grateful?

Those farmers living in those communities... I wonder if they will vote Buhari over Jonathan.... those are the people that matter... not online critics that don't even have a voter's card.

but the joke is still on them because they say:

- south east is small (-er than Ibadan)

um... okayhuh??
is that why you take a dump in the ocean? (and randomly on the streets?) - because you are not land locked?

and if mother nature decides to wash away top soil in the south east, ut wash away and kill human beings in the south west (as waste, pun intended!), how are you, a SWner able to point out erosion in the east?

and if soil is red and dry... well, we are black and strong! duh! lol (cant't believe I said that - "duh" to Nigerians lol)
