I pushed him to start, since he studied computer science but cannot code. I guess some people are more lucky than others. Meanwhile, I've over 10 years experience in coding. |

ozone29: Isn't knowledge of math required in backend for analysis of algorithms? Not necessarily. Most backend tasks in this part is CRUD, no data manipulation and need for serious logic that requires a lot of calc. I've done some crazy BE tasks like building an OCR system, I did some maths. Oh, you'll need maths and physics for game development or for building 3D systems. |

GreatVocalist: Damn! You earn over half a million monthly and You're still not happy?
I pray you never lose your job, or go below your current income level.
You know why I said that prayer for you? There are people who earn below 100k, in this current economic state. Some of them even have families. You know what that is? Survival mode.
Please be thankful, but keep working hard and upskilling. You'll go beyond this. Amen! I understand Bro and thanks for the prayer. I said I'm not happy not because I'm not living well myself. But one gotta look out for family, and at this rate, it would take years to get real financial stability. I also trade crypto sparingly. I'm 27. |

Antwan99: I took a loan of N2000 to repay 3200 after 7 days. The interest was exorbitant but everyone knows the situation in the country. I repayed before the due date and took same amount when the go wasn't going again. I still repayed and took yet another which was now increased to N3150 to repay N4500. The problem now is that the due date was yesterday and I am critically down with malaria or thyphoid as I type right now. Iam totally week and don't have any money to treat myself. I can't even eat due to loss of appetite and even if I could I don't have money.
This loan shark has been bombarding with calls and threats. This is my first experience with them as I don't take loans from them usually.
My situation is very pathetic.
Let God touch someone to save a soul this today. This is just my prayer. I don't have much myself, but send your account. I'll offset the loan. |

VULCAN: Oga, relax small.
That's $8m.
You can't even buy land, build and equip a hospital like Evercare in Lekki 1 today with that amount.
So calm down small with your estimation of it "significantly improving infrastructure"
Nevertheless, it's a huge amount and I agree it could make a clear difference with Primary healthcare facilities especially in the rural areas. So with the state of things, if we invest 12B into agriculture or health care, there won't be any significant improvement? |
Crime › Re: Court Orders Permanent Forfeiture Of Emefiele’s ₦12 Billion Property by remi4ever(m): 9:12am On Jun 23, 2024 |
Haaa... with 12 billion naira, Nigeria could significantly improve infrastructure. This budget could fund 50-100 km of road construction, build and equip several primary healthcare centers or a medium-sized hospital, construct multiple schools, develop water supply and sanitation projects for towns, create affordable housing estates, set up solar power mini-grids for rural electrification, upgrade transport facilities, or expand broadband internet in underserved areas... What a shame!! |
