I'd always maintained the issue with your car were bad spark plugs based on experience from working on those cars, but couldn't give further remote diagnosis as I don't have access to your car.
Good to know you've resolved them.
Cheers.
Thanks. Are you in Abuja?

This is really weird. I think your problem is electrical. Your plugs might not be the culprit. Please meet a very good electrician.
Hello Bro. Just an update, I got the right plugs and it's all good it wasn't electrical. The plug is actually different from the normal ones. The seller said "American plugs" whatever that means.

Thanks as well @jceesquare et others.

Hello guys. Please what's the correct belt number for the Honda R20 engine? Because my adjuster is shaking and it makes a lot of noise, first opinion change adjuster, the adjuster was changed when I got the car.

Second opinion, change belt with reason that the current belt is too big, so it isn't tight enough.

I recently got a 2170 belt but the noise started and it's annoying.

Hi everyone, I think my car is consuming too much fuel, a 2007 accord.

10k fuel will take me from Gbagada - Lekki, to and fro that's it, and my mechanic keeps telling me that's normal, but I took a friend's 2009 passat with the same 10k fuel and I barely used half of the fuel I bought making to do some research and I found out 2007 accord has a better fuel economy than 2009 passat.

My question is how and where can I get this problem fixed?
Scan your car and make sure your O2 sensor works. You can post the scanned code here for further assistance.
Car TalkRe: Maintenance Tips For Honda Cars by remi4ever(m): 4:48pm On Jan 08, 2025
Hello Guys.

My Car is a Honda Accord 2009 the 2.0L variant (R20 Engine).

Whenever I turn on my AC on idle the car vibrates, rpm drops to as low as 500 and the car shudders intermittently like it wants to turn off, also there is a drag when accelerating when the AC is on.

If I get close to a road bump, I will have to turn off the AC quickly because the whole car vibrates and drags until I pick up pace again.

I do not have a CEL , and I have also cleaned the throttle body, PCV valve. My engine air filter has been cleaned, too. Without AC, everything works well and it moves fine.

This car uses the DBW (Drive by wire) and I understand that the ECU controls the Idle rpm.

There’s no random picking. First 5 people for 2k each. Which amounts to 10k in total.

I think I’ve sent to 5 people already. Thanks folks. But I’ll give the next 10 a thousand each. Which will amount to 10k. Pls, if you’ve gotten 2k before, don’t send acc again. Thanks.

Please, if I sent to you and you received, please do well to acknowledge so it will motivate others to do same. Thanks.

Some people I sent money to are yet to acknowledge it. I’ll have to stop now. Y’all have a wonderful day.

I think I can’t do it all and nobody can. This is where we draw the curtains. I’ll send to the next 5 people max. Thanks.

Please Nairalanders, if you know you got your package please don’t hesitate to acknowledge. Thanks.

From the image seems both plugs are not the same length. The one on the right looks longer by some few centimeters. That can cause the ignition issues
Camera angle, they are of the same length.

The only difference is from the marking I made on both plugs. I have not seen any plug with smaller ring width similar to the one on the old one..

2cribz. I had the washer removed to be sure it wasn't the cause since the old ones didn't have.

Like I mentioned earlier, I do not have any CEL. I just want to tune it and the old ones may not be firing as they should leading to increased fuel consumption.

Bros, you have a very weird problem. Most weird problem are electrical. You can not rule anything out at this point cos anything can be the problem. I hope you do not have an ECU problem. Just keep your options open.
How do you know you do not have an electrical issue whatsoever?
How do you know your wiring harness is intact?
In the Honda repair manual, most troubleshooting ends with "replace the ECU". So keep that in mind.
Good luck.
The wiring harness has not been tampered with. I can tell you that much. I'm thinking the washers on the new plugs is the culprit.

None at all.. If I install the new ones weird things begin to happen.

A P1659 code also comes up I think.

Hello guys, something strange is happening.

My spark plug does not fire well and I decided to change them.

After trying 2 sets of new ngk plugs the car refuses to start. If I plug back the old ones. It'll start at once.

Today I got the original denso and it did a hard start but managed to start and it drove well.

Now I'm trying to start it, but It is not responding. If I plug in the old plug. It would respond at once.

Image one is the picture of the old plug. I got the exact iridium ngk replacement.

Modified : I replaced the new with the old one by one but same thing.

The old plug does have washers. I'm thinking of removing washers from the new ones.
This matter is strange..

Nairaland GeneralHow To Create A Fundraiser Campaign On Charitychest by remi4ever(op): 5:25pm On Dec 06, 2024
Creating a fundraiser campaign on CharityChest is an excellent way to raise funds for a personal cause, community project, or charity initiative. Whether you are looking to support a family member in need, fund a local community project, or raise money for a larger cause, CharityChest provides an easy and effective platform for Nigerians to come together and contribute to meaningful causes.

Here’s a step-by-step guide to help you launch your fundraiser campaign on CharityChest and make a real impact.

Step 1: Sign Up or Log In

The first thing you need to do is create an account or log in to your existing CharityChest account. If you don't have an account, simply head over to the registration page, fill in your details (name, email, phone and password), and you're ready to go.

If you already have an account, just log in, and you’ll be directed to your dashboard where you can start creating your campaign.

Step 2: Go to "Create Fundraiser" Section

After logging in, find the "Fundraiser" button or link on your side mnu. CharityChest makes it easy to set up your campaign with just a few simple clicks. Select this option, and you’ll be guided to the campaign creation form.

Step 3: Set a Title for Your Fundraiser

The title of your fundraiser is one of the most important aspects, as it will grab people’s attention. Choose a title that is clear, compelling, and gives an idea of the purpose of your campaign. For instance:

"Help Save Ada’s Life: Kidney Dialysis Fund"

"Support Our School: Building a New Classroom"

"Help Build a Borehole for Our Community"

Make sure the title is simple and to the point. This is the first thing potential donors will see, so it needs to reflect the essence of your cause.

Step 4: Craft a Meaningful Description

In the description section, tell the story behind your fundraiser. Share your personal journey, explain why you are raising funds, and describe how the funds will be used. A well-written description helps people understand the urgency and importance of your cause.

For example:

Why do you need help? (Explain your situation or the issue at hand)

How will the funds be used? (Provide a breakdown of the cost of the project or needs)

Who will benefit from the donations? (Explain how the recipients will be impacted)

The more personal and relatable your description is, the more likely people will feel compelled to support your cause.

Step 5: Set Your Target Amount

Now, set the target amount you want to raise. This is the goal amount you need to fund your project or cause. Be realistic when setting the amount, and make sure you provide a breakdown of how the funds will be used.

For example:

Target Amount: ₦500,000

₦200,000 for medical treatment

₦100,000 for hospital bills

₦150,000 for medication

₦50,000 for transportation costs

This transparency helps potential donors feel more confident that their contributions are being used effectively.

Step 6: Choose Start and End Dates

Select the start and end dates for your campaign. The start date is when your fundraiser will go live, and the end date is when your campaign will officially close. You may want to keep your campaign open for 30 days to give enough time for people to donate. However, if it's an urgent cause (like medical emergencies or disaster relief), you might want to set a shorter timeline.

Step 7: Launch Your Campaign

Once all your details are in place, click "Create Fundraiser," and your campaign will go live! At this point, people will be able to view your fundraiser, read your story, and donate towards your cause.

Step 8: Share Your Campaign

Sharing your fundraiser on social media and through personal channels is one of the best ways to gain visibility and support. CharityChest provides easy sharing options for platforms like Facebook, Twitter, WhatsApp, and Instagram. You can also share your campaign link via email, text, or WhatsApp groups.

Encourage your friends, family, and followers to share your campaign with their networks as well. The more people who know about your cause, the more likely you are to reach your fundraising goal.

Step 9: Withdraw Your Funds

After your campaign ends, you can withdraw the funds to your bank account. CharityChest makes this process seamless, ensuring you can easily access the funds you’ve raised. Follow the instructions to withdraw your funds, and make sure all necessary documentation is provided if required.

Every hot radiator will bring out steam. It is called "overheating" not just heating. Water steams when hot. Normal operating temperature of most engine is around 90degrees. That is very close to boiling. This means your engine and radiator is supposed to get VERY hot, but will not boil. If your radiator and engine is not getting very hot, you have a problem. If your engine coolant is boiling, you have a problem. If you temperature indicator is within normal, I don't see any overheating here. You do not have overheating..
Your car seems normal to me.
