InvestmentRe: Stock Market Tips For Nigerians by Remii(m): 6:27pm On May 14, 2009
The market is sure on its way to recovery but investors should be very careful and take personal responsibility for their decisions above all do not put money you cannot leave for at least one year in this market. The results moving the market now are activities of last year no one knows what kind of results these companies would turn in later in the year when they would be reporting activities of 2009. My advise is that, enter the market with your two eyes open wide and be guided.

Do you know Tony Elumelu very well as you claim you know Ndudi or Godwin? I doubt. Do a little research on how Al Mustapha, Abachas and colleagues moved money offshore in the nineties.
True talk sadboi, lagbaja has not been following UBA annual reports to see how much they spent yearly on unexplainable exceptional items (aka fraud, govt penalties, unsecured loans etc). He would have known that Elumelu na Elumelu, including the 419 kin pin in jail called Ade Bendel

It is very sad and unfortunate that now good news comes from Nigeria leaders in terms of corruption and fund wastage. Every one that is looked closely has been found to be wanting. EFCC,  ICPC and what have you have not helped matter either with their funny ways of arrest and endless lack of direction prosecutions , if any. One just hope that these people would realise that masses are suffering for their actions and inaction. Hopefully they would not pay with their blood due to coup or revolution.  Any thing can happen because as Kingsley Mbadiwe once said "When the come comes to become the happen will happen"

The olden days myth was based on perception that they had access to pregnancy preventive drugs but these days who among them does not?

thayur:
Wa aleikum salam waramotulahi wabarakat
as it has been rightfully said when one misses a solat and get to mosque when a congregational prayer is biegn observed one makes aniyat (intention) for the prayer missed and joins the congregation as if he were to be praying he own missed solat and after observing that he stands to oserve the next or joins another congregation if there is any.
if it is that it is the magrib solat that was missed and he gets to mosque when isha is beign observed but after the third rakah instead of standing up for the forth he sits untill the imam does the final teslim
ALLAH ALAM.
You can not pray different salat behind Imam and still be in the Jammah. If you get to mosque during Isha while you have not prayed Mogrib, you could join the group to pray Isha and take benefit of the congregation. However after completing the Isha with them, you have to now pray your Mogrib and repeat the Isha.
Alternatively, you may decide to pray you Mogrib solo and meet them on Isha or solo too if they completed before you finish your Mogrib. Also you may get some late commers like you to pray Isah together. Allah Alam
RomanceRe: How To End An Affair? (I'm Married) by Remii(m): 6:12pm On May 03, 2009
Just find courage to tell her you can not continue. Once you believe it is a sin you are committing there is no good way to commit sin. Tell her once and for all. Make sure you stop intercourse also because if you continue and get her pregnant she may tell you she would be single mother but the child would come back in ten years time and the rest story you could imagine your yourself.

Moreover, you too should stay at home one hour flight Abuja Lagos, you get one wife, if you fly London - Hong Kong 11 hours or Dubai - New York 17hours how many wives you go get.?

Brothers and Sisters please accept my belated Barka Jummah and enjoy the following:

Characteristics of a Muslim Husband

No one ever thinks about the characteristics of a Muslim husband. It is
always what a wife should do for the husband, and the list never ends; home
management, tutoring, ferrying the kids, caring, cooking, cleaning, washing,
working, even ; you name it, she is doing it, so what about the brothers?
Our beloved Prophet SAW was not THIS lazy, so why the men of this ummah. It
is quite interesting, so I thought I'd share it with you !!! What a Muslim
husband should be like,

1. Dress up for your wife, look clean and smell good. When was the last timeyou went shopping for designer pyjamas? Just like the husband wants his wife to look nice for him, she also wants her husband to
dress up for her too.
Remember that the Prophet (PBUH) would always start
with Miswak when returning home and always loved the sweetest smells.

2. Use the best names for your wife.
Call your wife by the most beloved names to her,
and avoid using names that hurt their feelings.

3. Don't treat her like a fly. We never think about a fly in our daily lives until it 'bugs' us.
Similarly, a wife will do well all day - which brings no attention from the husband - until she does something to 'bug' him.
Don't treat her like this; recognize all the good that she does and focus on that.

4. Avoid too much complaint.
If you see wrong from your wife, try being silent and do not comment! This is one of the ways the Prophet (PBUH) used when he would see something inappropriate from his wives (R.A).It's a technique that few Muslim men have mastered.

5. Smile at your wife whenever you see her and embrace her often.
Smiling is Sadaqah and your wife is not exempt from the Muslim Ummah. Imagine life with her constantly seeing you smiling.Remember also those Ahadith when the
Prophet (PBUH) would kiss his wife before leaving for Salaah, even when he
was fasting.

6. Thank her for all that she does for you. Then thank her again!
Take for example a dinner at your house. She makes the food, cleans the home, and a
dozen other tasks to prepare. And sometimes the only acknowledgment she
receives is that there needed to be more salt in the soup. Don't let that
be; thank her!

7. Ask her to write down the last ten things you did for her that made her happy. Then go and do them again. It may be hard to recognize what gives your wife pleasure. You don't have to play a guessing game, ask her and work on repeating those times in your life.

8. Don't belittle her desires. Comfort her. Sometimes the men may look down upon the requests of their wives. The Prophet (PBUH) set the
example for us in an incident when Safiyyah (R.A) was crying because, as she
said, he had put her on a slow camel. He wiped her tears, comforted her, and
brought her the camel.

9. Be humorous and play games with your wife. Look at how the Prophet (PBUH) would race with his wife Aisha (R.A) in the desert. When was the last timewe did something like that?

10. Always remember the words of Allah's Messenger (PBUH): 'The best of you are those who treat their families the best. And I am the best amongst you to my family.' Try to be the best!

In conclusion: Never forget to make Dua (Prayer) to Allah - ta'ala to make your marriage successful. And Allah ta'ala knows best!!
PoliticsRe: Nigeria Swine Flu Free_says Minister_of Health by Remii(m): 12:10pm On May 02, 2009
All I can advise is for everyone to be careful and vigilant for anyone with suspicious sickness with reported symptoms of the Swine Flu Disease. Nigerian Government and its officials are not known to give "bad news" even if it is the truth. They are all trained to play the Ostrich. They tell you one thing one radio and television and direct opposite happens and they will still maintain what they said without any remorse's. Like African China song" You see Black They would tell say that thing na WHITE.

So just as you take care of your own electricity, children education etc, TAKE RESPONSIBILITY FOR YOUR OWN HEALTH.

My brother, let's give some benefit of doubt, you can turn back from evil at anytime your conscience is awaken. Fact that she did it before should not compel continuity if the repentance is genuine its acceptable.

RomanceRe: Men Would You Easily Forgive Ur Woman If She Rains Insults On You? by Remii(m): 7:02am On Apr 26, 2009
I don't know what you consider insult from your girl Friend once you are in a relationship that is intimate both of you are now equal and I mean equal in all ways even if the age difference is 100 years. Freedom to speak ones mind without fear or reservation is part of love affairs. As long as its not public disgrace or just being saucy its fine. Let me tell you all the people you show much respect in public like kings and leaders get all kind of insults in privates from their lovers. So no big deal. You insult her too jokingly or sometimes to get serious information across. What is good for gander is good for the goose. Do not be deceived by those who write I wont take this I wont take that in this trend they are the once who swallow the worst type of insults especially from e lady so much cherish and would not risk loosing. If you really in love forgiving is not that hard

IslamRe: Can A Muslim Keep A Fixed Deposit Account? by Remii(m): 10:57am On Apr 24, 2009
humblesoul:
At the heart of the Islamic prohibition of usury (Riba) is the maxim that if you do not plant, you cannot reap. This constitutes a rejection of the false claim to a ‘time-value’ of money. Money by itself cannot increase over time without any input of labor, or without the risk (of loss or of gain) inherent in an authentic business transaction.

What, then, is the status of someone who makes a ‘Fixed Deposit’ with his money in a bank or any other financial institution? It should firstly be clear that he has not gifted the money. It must also be recognized that he has not entered into a ‘business’ transaction since he is guaranteed the return of his money plus an additional amount. There is no risk. There is no possibility of loss. And hence that is not business! In fact, in making a ‘Fixed Deposit’, he has lent his money on interest (Riba), and has hence become a cursed moneylender.
Bro Humblesoul

I visit Middle East regularly, Qatar and UAE to be precise and I know that Islamic banks there have fixed deposit account for their customers, instead of blanketly shutting Muslims away from banks there is need to find out the Islamic way of running the accounts.

Like I stated above the term "fixed" is flexible and you could get less or more than agreed amount depending on business outcome. The agreed amount would then serve as a means of making the bank strife to encourage your repeat business,

The prophet of Islam, (SAW) encourage us to learn and expand our depth of awareness, Allahu alam.

My observations though:

Men do forgive and forget easily in case of love affair failure.

Men do not really care if their ex got married to better person than them, most ladies wish their ex poorer than their husbands
