Politics / Re: Why Was There Little Call For Biafra When Jonathan Was In Power? by remirez07(m): 12:20pm On Sep 04, 2017
OkunrinMeta:
One would imagine that in five years that Jonathan was in Power, if these protests and loud requests for secession was brought forward and it was this loud, It might have been easier for the Igbo nation to get what they seem to want.

Of course there is also the question of whether the agitators actually speak the mind of the Igbo Nation. This is because in my corner of the country, the Igbo men I know do not seem to be very much in support of Master Nnamdi. Still, these issues should be addressed by way of logical two way discussion.

So my questions are:

why is the demand for Biafra more pronounced now? Dump question.why was much killing in north while Goodluck was in power?

Did the agitators forget what they wanted before?

Did they not want it at the time?

What exactly is the reasonable expectation currently?

Do you want the Hausa man to go and face his onions and cow while leaving the oil for only the east to enjoy because they are very selfless like Jesus?

Would it not have been easier to ask Jonathan to do that?

Are we willing to go back to 1967 to make it happen?

dumb question. Why was much killing while Goodluck was in power?

Phones / Re: 3 Things The New Nokia 8 Can Do That Your Infinix Or Tecno Phone Can't Do by remirez07(m): 1:56pm On Aug 20, 2017
TechPanda:
Ever since Nokia broke the shackles Microsoft had on them (all thanks to their new boss, HMD), they've been working tirelessly to make a come back into the market and most importantly to win the hearts of consumers.

You know earlier, they launched a remake of the iconic Nokia 3310 and still on the pursuit to reclaim their lost glory, they've launched some set of Android phones. (Talking about the Nokia 3, Nokia 5, Nokia 6 and now.... the Nokia cool

If you're an Infinix or Tecno user, here's what the new Nokia 8 can do that your phone can't do.

1. Take Picture With The Front And Back Camera At The Same Time - #Bothie
The new Nokia 8 is the first mobile phone to feature this technology (Dual-Sight mode or as you may want to call it, Bothie)

The dual-sight mode is a new version of selfie which allows you use both front and back cameras at the same time (simultaneously). While using this feature to cover videos or take photos, your phone screen splits into 2.

With this, you can share both sides of a story. Sweeet!

Heheh...

Wait till this hash tag starts trending on twitter, then Tecno and Infinix users will be like
[/img]

2. Produce Quality Video And Sounds Like The Ones In American Movies
You know that feeling you get when you capture a very long video, probably a wedding or birthday party and then you decided to grab popcorn hoping to watch the video and then you begin to hear too many voices in the background?

Very horrible play back experience...

My brothers and sisters in tech, worry no more!

The Nokia 8 which has been designed to produce 4k videos also come with Ozo Spatial 360° audio (a technology used by Hollywood filmmakers and music producers).

For sure, this will put Hollywood technology in the palm of your hand.

3. High Quality Sounds From Its Out-Of-The Box Bluetooth Earphones

I suppose you've always wanted to save yourself the stress of carrying wires about? But so far so good, neither Tecno nor Infinix is helping matters with that kind of innovation.

The Nokia 8 comes with the Nokia Active Wireless Earphones. Though Nokia didn't take out the ear phone jack like Apple did in the iPhone 7, they've gone a step into keeping our technological life less wired with a Bluetooth headset which comes along with the phone.

Here're some features of Nokia's new earphone

- It has been fine-tuned to have high-quality sounds with solid bass tones
- It has specially-developed ergonomic ear tips that will let it fit comfortably in your ears
- And as part of the innovation, the active wireless earphone is water, sweat and dust proof.

If you've been following MissTechy lately, you should remember the tutorial she posted on how she plays music with 2 Bluetooth speakers. She was able to do that with the new Bluetooth version 5.0.

Before Infinix users be looking at me like... (Lol...)

Politics / Re: Buhari's Govt Won't Succeed Until Amaechi Apologises To Pastors - Bishop Adeoye by remirez07(m): 4:35pm On Aug 08, 2017
dumebiifeanyi:
Former Governor of Rivers State and the current Transport Minister, Mr Rotimi Amaechi must tender unreserved apology to some key ministers of God in the country before Muhammadu Buhari’s administration can fully achieve its aims, Bishop Seun Adeoye has stated.

The Presiding Bishop of Sufficient Grace and Truth Ministry (SGTM), Rehoboth Arena, Okinni in a statement issued in Osogbo, Osun State on Tuesday, August 8, 2017 explained that the All Progressives Congress (APC) led government has the potentials of actually turn Nigeria around but has been inhibited by the Almighty God.

He said, “Virtually all those who led Buhari’s campaign including the Acting President, Professor Yemi Osinbajo were guilty of using all sorts of blackmail and falsehood to get this government into office but Amaechi was the major culprit.

“It was Amaechi as the Director General of Buhari’s Campaign Organisation who told the world that ex-President Goodluck Jonathan bribed Christian leaders with a whopping N6billion. He refused to mention who collected the money and who they shared the same to.

Following this unguided statement by Amaechi, many innocent pastors were ridiculed and abused by Nigerians. It came to a point that parishioners even did not trust their priests again. I am one of those who prayed for Buhari to get well quickly. The Lord has assured that he will heal the president and that he won’t die in office but this government can’t get anything right until Amaechi and others apologise to those they deliberately maligned during the campaign.

It is clear that rather than this government breaking new ground; it is still struggling over the economy, security and power generation. The president has been on sick bed for months. Blood of hundreds of innocent Nigerians have been shed unnecessarily since this government came on board in May 2015.

Truth must be told; Amaechi offended men of God. He laid accusation on all pastors without justification. He must tender an unreserved public apology and I am sure pastors around the country will rally round and pray from the deep of their hearts for peace in our land and total restoration and recovery of the economy.

You cannot mock God and go away with it. Men of God are His representatives on earth. If you mock pastors, you mock God. If you lie against them, you lie against God. I am confident that with a sincere apology from Amaechi, in particular, those who sit and fold their arms watching the nation’s events as they unfold will rise up and help in prayers and we will see God healing this land”, the cleric added.

Bishop Adeoye explained that Amaechi and others must humble themselves and ask for forgiveness from the people they offended during the struggle to install Buhari as Nigeria’s presidentpresident.
