Guys this is d mail we received from CIC today! Shud we reply back by letting them know d baby hasn't arrived OR shud wait towards end of d month? Cos my EDD is 28th Aug to Sept 7th,datz d tym frame given to me by my doctor. Woooow.... Wondering why you raised a CSE to add a dependant when he/she is yet to arrive. The medical examination already reflected that you are pregnant Cos i was asked for my due date during the proceedure. I'm waiting to put to bed before raising a CSE and if possible start the passport waka before I inform them.
I think you should simply reply the mail as soon as you can and re-quote your due date in block letters and explain in the mail that you only wanted to inform them of your intention to add a dependant on a future date. It's nothing to worry about...

My hubby is actually d principal applicant and a Dependant of 4 for now cos we r expecting a baby by ending of d month which wud make it 5. Although he notified CIC b4 submitting his applications.My fear now is ;

1) We r expecting PPR any moment from now cos his AOR was in June 16th and he's gotten 2 ADR request of which d latest was to pay RPRF fee which he paid on 28th of last month...Now if we get PPR b4 d baby is born cos I think we have 15 days to submit d passport and fill d IMM form,what r we to do @ dis juncture? Cos d baby hasn't arrived yet
2) If d baby arrives b4 we get d PPR request I doubt we wont be able to meet d tym frame of d 15 days submission cos like we all know d scarcity of passport @ immigration office which cause a lot of delays. I am confused? Kindly respond,tnks

I'm in this same position. I'm just folding my hands and following the waves... when you get to that bridge you will surely cross it. Just paid for my RPRF too and I'm in Na2. May Gods will be done. But I believe that's what the form is meant for, to notify them of any changes in family size between your medicals have your due date so they are not completely in the dark.... I wish you a safe delivery just as I wish myself.

Thanks to all you lovely people for the congratulatory messages, I know we will all testify soonest whether it's awaiting IELTS, awaiting AOR or PPR.

To all those worried about their submitted application or anything, don't worry and just leave all to God. I thought my application was messy and I scaled through with no ADR, nothing!

1. A bulk of my money entered my account after I got my ITA but I did not do gift deed or write any letter explaining the source of funds (timeline btw my ITA and AOR was about 3 weeks)
2. I only put the first page of each of my 6 month statement leaving all other pages behind (I did not quickly realize I could reduce it)
3. I did not write any LOE, did not attach any additional document or justify anything at all
4. My name is sometimes scattered. Like I'm known by d 2nd name in my passport so some of my documents only had my 2nd name and surname without the first name on my passport (I was advised to get an affidavit justifying this but I never did)
5. Although I had a valid US visa as at the time I applied, I was rejected about 7 years ago and I forgot to state it in my application.
6. I was in UK on vacation when I did and got my UK PC, I was later told that I should have done it after leaving the country and to urgently raise CSE which I never did
7. Plenty other things I thought were issues but can't state all now.

This is for those that have submitted and are worried about one thing or the other.

If you haven't submitted, PLEASE DON'T BE LIKE ME! I don't know why I was so stubborn, it wud save you a whole lot of worry knowing your application is detailed when it's in progress!

In my excitement I forgot to write my timeline.

Nah... Ircc don't wanna know if you eat in the same plate, ones you don't share the same parents you should not declare her as your sibling so you won't have problem proving it later... I made this mistake too by ticking Aunty for cousin but "My case is different". I believe with God all discrepancies are covered.

You don't need to put all your funds in one account, you can submit letter for different bank accounts but if nah me ooo, I will put it in one account because I hate Nigeria Banking system and I can't imagine dealing with more than one when it comes to collecting a bank letter for my proof of funds.

Can one do medicals before ITA? What if the principal applicants gets pregnant before ITA will she be able to do medicals (comsidering the chest xray part) or does it mean she will have to wait to do medicals after the baby is born

In as much as it is upfront medicals that's done for express entry, it is not advisable to do it before ITa, it is best to do it close to the submission of your application after getting an ITa and if you are pregnant there's nothing to worry about, the hospital will give you a shield to protect your baby.

There's a detailed instruction in the message on mycic, just follow thru, it's a long procedure so I can't really explain. Just click on where you have "make payment online" and follow the instructions. You will be asked to register to be able to make the payment online. Then after making payment click on "view submitted application" and upload in the placeholder provided.

40manlappy:
"IP1" and "IP2" were coined by EE applicants based on observation of how status changes. Generally, IP1 is when background check (BG) status says "Your application is in progress...." while IP2 reads "We are processing your background check...". IP2 is usually the last stage before PPR.

We have seen applicants who moved from NA to PPR, confirming IRCC's unpredictability.

However, since RPRF has been requested for, it is very likely that you are on NA2 (the "NA" status before IP2). I will advise you to relax and trust God for a speedy PPR

If BG is showing NA, I guess that should be NA2. IP1 is usually same day with or few days after med passed, few people have also confirmed IP1 status before med passed.. And after IP1 is NA2, then IP2. NA2 -IP2 can take between 3 weeks to 6 weeks or more. Disclaimer: I got all this info on this thread, not like its my personal timeline. Seniors/others can advise further. Wish us all speedy processing.

@deeore I really don't know what stage I am. All I saw was a mail yesterday telling me to pay for my RPRF in 7days. But my BG is in N/A and have not really been lucky tracking if it has ever changed to to progress to determine wheather nah Ip1 I dey or 2.
The mail also states that the eligibility and admissibility review (security, criminality, and or medicals) is currently in professs; you will be contacted if additional document is required for this purpose.
Hope you make something out of this....

Use Oanda or Xe. I first converted Cad to dollar just to know how much the fees is in dollar since I will be using Dom account to pay, then from dollar you can easy covert to naira.

I asked this question a few pages back and I think senior 40manlappy replied me... I didn't pay for my RPRF when paying for my application last month, so I asked if I should make payment but was adviced to wait till they ask.
Now cic has mailed me to pay and I already paid but I don't know where to upload the receipt... please someone should put me thru.

The IP1 change happens very quickly for some that they tend to miss it. I think this is what happened in your case. IP1 happens just before or when you get medicals passed and it last for between 0- 14days then BGC goes back to NA.

When I had my IP1 I had checked my profile in d morning and no updates but when I saw people to n the forum with AOR close to mine reporting seeing medicals passed I had to check again late in the night and that's when I saw my BGC at IP1 with medicals passed. By the next morning I checked again and it had changed to NA. Before I got the mail from CIC that my account has an update was 2days after.

How do you notice when you background check changes? Do have to sign in every minute and hour? Cos I really wanna figure out the stage I'm in too.
