I am kind of confused i need advice. I submitted POF (bank statement and bank reference) as part of my ITA documentations, but i have since been using the money for urgent things that came up, what is the consequence?
secondly, i got my ITA July 12 while in the US where i and my wife came to have our baby, all my documents are up to date but for medicals. I am confused about where to do the medicals, i will be back to Nigeria by end of September, I called up the hospital here in houston, they gave me a bill of $940 for me, my wife and my baby. I am thinking of waiting till end of september to go back to Nigeria for the medicals. my questions are as follows;

1. will it be cheaper for me in Nigeria, for many of us who did it in Nigeria what is the cost like for somewhere like Lagos ? Mind you$940 is 340k at todays rate.

2. what happens to other documents like my POF or police report that will be almost 2 to 3 months old before i get to Nigeria. Will i have to get a new bank statement, like i said earlier ...the money don dey deplete o.
please if you manage to understand me, i need your advice

The difference in fee is not something that can be ignored. If you have enough time left you can as well wait till you get back to Nigeria.

After how many months of medical pass can you contact them to know where your application is been processed? I'm Aor July 5 and medical passed.

Don't you have any undergraduate student in the school that you can send? Our educational system is just messed up. I almost gal a victim but I sent a student straight and the mail was seen sharp sharp.

I've created the login details. When I login, it shows my username and shows the 'continue' option. When I do it gives me an error msg and redirects me to home page. At some point it took me to a Terms and Conditions page before giving me an error msg and returns me to home page. I've done it with Mozilla, Opera and Chrome; it's the same outcome. In fact, I even used my phone and it was still the same thing. What next?

You just have to keep trying, it might be due to some abnormality in network, even some of us that has created a profile have issues signing in sometimes.

That will not be necessary, your marriage certificate is enough confirmation of your union.

You don't need to send the form to your school, just ensure that thw school include your application number on the sealed and stamped envelope. I picked up my transcript from my school and sent it myself to make things fast but the envelope must be sealed and stamped by the school.

I have this same information on my page but have never noticed my background check change to "in progress" like they say so I don't even know which stage I am in.....

It's better to wait. One upside of this is that allows you to have an idea of how your application is progressing i.e. when you get payment request for RPRF, you know that, all things being equal, you are getting closer to PPR

Its unlikely to get a rejection after IP1 if you are not a security threat. I have noticed that a lot of applicants have been left hanging at NA after IP1. My theory is that the visa officer wasn't fully convinced regarding proof of funds especially for those who use gift deeds. I don't believe a gift deed issued outside Canada would be adjudged as binding. People should provide adequate explanation for funds gifted to them. I would advice that people still waiting for ppr keep their pof handy in case an update is requested.

Medical passed.... but I don't even know what to watch out for to determine wether I'm in Ip1 or still on hold. BGC still shows NA

Yeah I got a mail, notifying me about the update in my application and was asked to go login. I got Uci number and medical passed the same day.

Background check not applicable at the moment but application status shows in process.

I went to a professional studio to take my passport photograph and I'm sure they did the right thing cos they also have the picture specification so they are used to taking passport for Canada. I was given a hard copy as well as a soft copy on my phone. Now I wanna upload the passport but I'm not sure if any adjustment is expected to be made on the soft copy given to like I'm I still expected to resize it and how will I know the soft copy 420*540 pixels.

@alt3r3g0: you are right. @Remxy: follow the instruction for uploading the passports which says at least 35mm x 45mm...blah blah. It does not require the studio to write their name and sign at the back of the photograph at the POST ITA upload stage.

I thought the studio passport with name behind was only after PPR where you will be required to send a phyical passport.

Exhaust all available options online to merge and resize your entire POF document, do it in bits until you get what you need. My 6month statement was 77pages, it was tiring before I could scan and get it to 4mb but I did eventually.

Concerning the the passport photograph requirement, is it really important for the studio to write their name and sign at the back of the photograph? And if yes.... when I'm uploading dose that mean I will scan both the front and back page and merge into a single file?
Secondly, after printing out my bank statement I realized it's too bulky and I'm still gonna merge it with the bank letter; can I make it less than 6months just to make it less Bulky?

I forgot to add the POF headache.

You guys are forgetting the (POC). Power of Collaboration. 5 of you can come together. (Make sure una trust each other well o and know una houses. This line of advice is 100% built on trust and background check)

So five of you bring 1m each. You bounce the 5 million around una accounts. It gives you transaction volume. Mr A prints statements, and then u bounce around again, Mr B Prints…..

The essence of you guys coming together on this forum is to share and collaborate not kill yourselves with Analysis Paralysis….

Your Pension Fund Statement is acceptable. Moving money up and down will not help your matter, it will only raise red flags.
I can provide further clarification if you need one.

This is where planning in the PRE-ITA phase is crucial. If you are certain someone is going to give you N4m for 6 months or a year. Better get the money before you get ITA or collect the money, reject the ITA and wait for 6 months and 2 weeks to apply. Your 6 months statement will not show how the inflow came. Also, do well by crediting the account when you have money from time to time. Rather than just leaving only N4m and no transaction flow for 6 months.

Also, You can collect the money. Go get a sale invoice and receipt to show that you either sold an asset and the inflow is proceeds for the sale of the asset. If it is a car, get a receipt, change of ownership document, car documents and the narration - SALES OF CAR from whoever is giving you the money. Then you can explain how you got the huge inflow using LOE.

Alternatively, your spouse can collect the money with their account, credit you with the inflow. The problem here is that the VO afterwards may ask, via ADR, for your spouse to provide his/her statement. You can either back this up by claiming share of inheritance from a dead relative. Get a death certificate, a notarise letter of how siblings will share inheritance and narration should be - YOUR SHARE OF MUMMY'S ESTATE. Then you explain with LOE. Your siblings in the letter should sync with the siblings you have on your family/relatives section. The disadvantage here is that one of your relative is dead - this relative MUST also be indicated dead on your family/relatives section and the date of death should sync with the death certificate and possibly be current - maybe like 2014, 2015 or 2016.

There are still other ways, but your information must be flow properly no loopholes.

Here is the issue, she's based in Canada and we are confused as to weather its right for her to raise the bank draft in Canada and then scan it along side with the gift deed so I can upload. I'm confused because I reside in Nigeria. Will cic accept this? Don't wanna mess my application up.
