Pls go home. You said yourself that you've been away from home and this hasn't happened before. Now it is and she's been talking about having recurring bad dreams about your stay there. For me, I never play with my mom's words like this. So if its possible to redeploy, do it. Best wishes. |

Well written marriage planning dossier. Still, I hope you get to plan for the worst case scenerio/s so you guys don't get stranded sometime along the way. For the naysayers with destructive comments, live your life and let the man be. If you've got nothing constructive to add, shake your head and move along or go plan your life as well. I love your enthusiasm by the way Sir, its positively infectious. Best wishes ahead. |

I had a roomate who was a chronic snorer(if there's a word like that) anytime he slept, day or night. The day I tried waking him up to adjust his position so he could sleep well and stop snoring was the day the angels came down. The dude literally tried to punch me for doing that. Come see quarrel for night o unto say I try wake u up as ur snoring no gree me sleep. I never tried it again till we parted ways 2weeks later. Meanwhile, he never tried cooking during his stay with me. I did the cooking while he did the eating. He'd cook for himself alone when I'm out and still act hungry on my return. He also never helped out in any way and dude can eat for Africa. Na me go buy food, go work and school, still come back cook again and my guy go dey house throughout o just watching movies, sleeping and eating. I was so relieved when he left. |

Saintsammurai: SO many NIGERIA christians are with these mindset of going to church with any amount of cash in their their hands..to use for offering....AS a worker or as an employed human, that receives monthly salaries,, And as a true and a non hypocritical christian, you should be able to put nothing below 1,000 naira every sunday in the offering box. "You cannot spend thousands on drinks, food and recharge cards, including dstv and go tv subscriptions, etc.. without setting outside nothing less than Four thousand naira for the four sundays in a month, just to use as an offering, "note" "this is excluding "tithe" "Putting 100 naira, 500 naira, 50 naira in an offering box shows disrespect and disregard for GOD almighty, for he deserv much more than that.....WE dont have to be christians by mouth making, we need to show it too with our money....i hope you all change for the glory of GOD. Your opinion should not be a laid down law for all. You can do it, some others can't; writing this is a sanctimonious hypocrisy. Not all hands are equal. Give to God what you have with a sincere heart. HE hasn't struck anyone dead for giving less than a 1000 naira. HE would not start because you say so or because its what you do. HE looks at the heart. HAPPY SUNDAY |

phenomem: A very good friend I think was around my street in Lagos and it was late in the night. He called me up and asked if I could accommodate him till the next morning and I gladly said yes. The next morning came and we played and talked till the evening so he decided stay a night again. It was in the morning when he went to take his bath that I realized He had everything to use for a month In that bag. It was then I realized that this guy didn't come to stay the night so as an intelligent guy I chilled and watched how event will unfold.
After he finished taking his bath, he said he wanted to take me out so we went out drinking and we came back at night and he slept over again. It's 3 days now. Early in that morning I asked him if he was ready to leave because I will be going to work and to my surprise he said he thought he could stay over for a couple of days. Immediately, I replied him that my fiance is coming today and that he wouldn't expect me to share my apartment with him and my fiance. He even had the nerve to ask me how much time my fiance is going to stay. To cut the long story short, it was like I chased him out because of his cunning ways. Till this day we are not on good terms Motherbleeping fair weather kind of friend. T'was good you threw him out. |

I know what you mean. Still, I believe that bringing such to the attention of the parents/guardians or even older relatives of the child would help in this situation, as well as clear one's conscience. |

Nonetheless, you would be helping a child positively whenever you immediately correct, admonish or teach, as the situation arises. Best regards. |

bobkezel: Just in time. I was playing with my friend's kids (a boy and a girl) as I was about leaving, I told them to let go off me that I had to go. The girl asked me not to go and I replied if she had anything for me so that I will stay, and she said yes. I asked her what was that and she said "toto". I thought maybe my ears were deceiving me so I asked again "what" and she repeated "toto". Holy feck! If you see the kind speed wey I use zoom out from there b4 another ear hear am. I am still trying to convince myself that I heard the wrong word. Did you inform your friend, the child or children's parent/parents? If you did not, I definitely think you should have found time to talk with the child and helped with better educating her as well as her brother. Or you could have told the parents. You can never educate kids enough from infancy when it comes to sex in this 21st century. |

I asked a friend who needed a job after getting laid off, to come stay with me for a month as he tried seeking other jobs. I gave him a room and stocked the house with food to last a month before travelling, only to come back after a week to find all my food gone and my personal bathing sponge being used by him. I just weak, give am ultimatum because he made it worse by telling me he wasn't interested in getting a job again. He, instead wanted me to help him start a business like say I be Father Christmas. The Dude woke up this morning begin 'kabash' till afternoon, without talking to me or answering my greetings, say him dey vex for me. |
