Check out the number of PhD holders in Nigeria and you'll see that most are yorubas! Schools in the southwest still run the fastest and best quality postgraduate education eg UI, UNILAG, OAU et al, while corruption and greed would not let universities in the southeast run a hitch free PG education.

Most Igbos that excel academically are those that studied outside igboland! Something is fundamentally wrong! Even the processes of admission in most universities in the southeast are filled with corruption and lack of transparency! No regulation. Nothing! The so called intelligentsia can't live up to standards because they easily allow greed and quest for ill-gotten wealth get the better parts of them.
