otswag:Stop blabbering, point out what part of my previous comment shows that I don't know what I'm talking about. Don't come online typing rubbish, if you do, I will be kind enough to enlighten you, that's what the internet is for. Zero tolerance for illiteracy. |
otswag:Point out what I don't know in my comment. Illiteracy kills. |
adabsmith:Copy and paste it here http://naijalingo.com/ it will be translated to Nigerian broken english |
adabsmith:Read it again in slow motion, if it still doesn't make sense to you, I will translate it to broken english. |
Hypocrisy is when some people are allowed to sell Amazon gift cards which we know 99% are gotten via illegal means and is tied to credit card fraud, drugs, stolen identity, money laundering and terrorism, whereas some others are prohibited from advertising cash deposits. What is good for the goose is also good for the gander. It’s unfair to bar all cash deposits based on the preconceived notion that 80% of them come from illicit sources when there are numerous Nigerians living overseas who would rather send money back home without going through all the hula hoopla that’s sometimes involved when sending funds through western union, moneygram and the likes. Western Union for example has limits on how much can be remitted to Nigeria before requesting ID and filing currency transaction reports to the IRS. The most you can send per transaction is about $5,000 in the U.S. I personally know relatives in the states who have building projects in Nigeria and they will never go through remittance companies but would rather network with others who might need dollars in America. So you see, not all cash deposits are fraudulent. But this is beside the point, you cannot justify barring fiat transactions and not also bar e-currencies and gift cards. There have been countless times when people have sold hacked paypal funds only for it to be charged back, but I don’t see anyone barring paypal. Numerous times when someone bought amazon gift cards only to have their Amazon accounts closed because the source was sketchy, but nobody has barred gift cards. Same goes for itunes and all other gift cards, but people turn a blind eye to these things because it benefits them. You see adverts for itunes floating all over the place for as cheap as 200/$, it’s quite comical because we know the average Nigerian would rather download media contents for free online before even thinking of buying it from Itunes. All those cheap itunes gift cards are obtained fraudulently and used to ‘trade bitcoin. Lastly, nairaland’s rule 16 clearly says ‘do not promote shady investments like betting… and cryptocurrencies” yet, everyone turns a blind eye because they engage in cryptocurrency trading meanwhile they are happy to chant No Cash deposits! Fair is fair and fact is fact. Due to the frequent occurrence of scam, ALL forms of cash deposits, bitcoin, amazon gift card, itunes gift card, paypal, payoneer, skrill, neteller, webmoney and all e-currencies trading should be banned.

Akanimoh08:Too funny |
TechCapon:Ok. How about accident cars? |
tumababa:I can see through the sarcasm in your comment but I will tell you the facts. I won't spell everything out to enable others start buying and reselling illicit funds. Those sites are like black markets for everything illegal, from drugs, weapons, stolen credit card details, hacking tools and for hire services like hitmen. A person might have $500 worth of Amazon gift cards for sale for $200 and payments are made through Bitcoin to hide their tracks and easily funnel money around the world. A majority of these sellers on the dark web are from eastern European countries like Russia and Ukraine and also members of drug cartels in Mexico and Columbia. U are asking if the Bitcoins used in the purchase are stolen, no they are not, but when you buy a $500 gift card for $200 with Bitcoin, you are also partaking in the scam so don't try to play smart. |
Nice. Op tell me where to buy the cars and what took for so that I can start my own car import business. |
tumababa:Absolutely... They pay with bitcoins on darkweb sites only accessible by tor then resell it for twice as much |
Hahahaha Omo this video make me laugh no be small o. The naija guy was speaking his pidgin English without mincing words as if he expects the oyinbo man to understand him. They would've killed that guy there. Proof that it's not always about muscle. |
You can enact all the laws you want, however when you have self-centered citizens who only think about themselves nothing will change. Difference between Nigeria and most developed countries lies on their approach to life, those guys think about the better good of their environment and community, Africans only think about themselves and their family. |
Seems like the people making comments about DNA testing don't even know what it means. DNA test will also prove that the woman isn't the mother of the child. |
Fidelmalek:Are you dyslexic? |
Social media makes grown men act like little boys. Hash tag even on shirt. |
This guy lacks fashion sense, what's with the polka dots suit? Very queer. |
Looks like he has fully embraced his role as a drama queen. https://i.imgur.com/tPjE1uN.gif |
Irony is when people reselling Amazon Gift cards for 250/$ of which they obtained for 120/$, still come here to bash another person sending funds from a dead woman's account. All na scam, but some of them will try to justify it by saying oh it's not true some people sell Amazon gift card given to them as gifts and they don't need it anymore blah blah blah. Flat out lies, they have reputable online services that buy gift cards for 85% of its actual value ex giftcardgranny.com. Some of them have even turned it into big business, they use fradulently obtained gift cards to buy goods for others and to pose like importers for their family. Yet, na them dey bash Yahoo boys. Most gift cards sold here are used by drug dealers and hackers to move illegal funds, whether it's bought with cash or card. Someone stealing from dead people is probably even better than hackers using stolen credit card details to buy gift cards because that's an extra burden for the victim. They may not even know someone is stealing from them, and although most banks will refund the victims when alarm is raised, some banks will not. Everything about currency exchange is either illegal or against the rules. Most of you are running a bureau de change without license or approval from the CBN. If you like twist it anyhow you like, that's the fact. Even the ones in Yankee, you can be charged for money laundering and tax evasion because you are not a registered money service business. Funny enough, buying or selling of Bitcoin is even against Seun's rules, it is actually prohibited! So if you like sit there and think you are holier than another person, everyone involved in some form of exchange is breaking the law, encouraging human trafficking, drug trade, funding terrorism, and tax evasion. Justify it however you want, fact is fact. |
Alright |
VampireeM:Understood, it's not a necessity really I agree. But if you change your mind later, you know where to find me |
salford1:Its not a matter of trust and dishonesty, its a matter of common sense. You don't move into an apartment with a total male stranger all because of trust. That's pure stupidity and if this case turns out to be true, she has experienced first hand why you just don't do that. It's not a justification of what happened, but this should serve as a lesson to others. Prevention is always better than cure. |
Jaqenhghar:You live in a shithole so stay there. I live in Nigeria and only a fool would immediately accuse a man of sexual assault without thoroughly investigating the case. Maybe tune in to CNN or read more news articles and you will know that so many innocent men are falsely accused of sexual assault and rape. I will enlighten you though, i take pride in doing so. ![]() |
Jaqenhghar:lol, yet another idiot addressing me in the 3rd person pronoun "he." I've seen your kind before. You are a fool living in the same shithole you speak bad about. How can you call your home a shithole and then turn around to say you are not full of sh.it? You only confirmed my initial assumptions that you are a demented goat. |
Hahahaha 80% of the so called poor households will be imaginary households created by the elites. They will siphon the money for themselves. Its better they leave that money with the europeans and instead invest it in their stock market or better still, buy bitcoins with it and make the bitcoin wallet address public for all to track it for another 20years. |
Jaqenhghar:Says the re.tard squatting in a face-me-i-face-you bungalow in mushin. I will repeat it again, no smart lady will rent a room with a single man be it UK or Nigeria, but this isn't something i expect a demented goat to understand. |
I hate to be the bearer of bad news but, I hope this young lady has the patience to wait until she lands her dream pharmacy job. I have a church member who left Nigeria for America to study pharmacy. The young lady earned her doctorate in pharmacy degree over 3years ago and she's yet to get a job. Apparently, there's a saturation of pharmacists currently in the states and many of them are finding it difficult to get a job. She said this problem started when so many schools decided to start their own pharmacy programs for profit. Now there's more supply than demand. A pharmacist right out of college can earn $120,000 a year, but many employers are hiring part-timers and paying them $48/hr instead of $85/hr. I wish her all the best of luck. |
