This happened on Sunday July 10th at Alagbaka, Akure, Ondo state. The two ladies were minding their business, going their own way when the guy started to follow them, asking one of them out. They told him to bugger off that they weren't interested but instead of doing so, he began to harass them. The girls got angry and decided to teach him a lesson... the lesson that led the young man into the gutter...lol. The Nigeria Football Federation (NFF) will unveil a new coach for the Super Eagles in July, it has been revealed. Chris Green, the NFF Technical and Development Committee chairman, has given firm assurances that they would make sure that all the issues around naming a new manager for the Super Eagles were sorted unfailingly by next month. The Super Eagles have been without a substantive coach since Sunday Oliseh resigned and according to Green a lot of applications have been received for the vacant post. “We have submitted our recommendation to the NFF executive board members after receiving a lot of applications from coaches who have shown interest in the job,” Green revealed. At the moment, Salisu Yusuf has been in charge of the Eagles in interim capacity with the duo of Rangers coach, Imama Amapakabo, and Abia Warriors manager, Kennedy Boboye, assisting. Super Eagles are in a tough group for Russia 2018 World Cup qualifiers together with Zambia’s Chipolopolo, Cameroon’s Indomitable Lions and Algeria’s Desert Foxes. Meanwhile, while the federal government might have foreclosed the hope of hiring a foreign coach, the leadership of the Nigeria Football Federation is at only at cross purposes on who to appoint, but bent on hiring a foreigner. This is because Amaju Pinnick, NFF President, favours the appointment of Serbian’s Goran Stefanovic, while the Technical Committee headed by Chris Green wants Frenchman, Paul Le Guen. Pinnick is keen on the Serb’s abilities due to his wealth of experience especially in Africa and affordability in comparison to other coaches who will demand higher wages. However members of the Technical Committee are convinced that Le Guen is the most qualified for the job based on his pedigree and heroics with Cameroun in the run up to the 2010 World Cup where he qualified them from an almost impossible situation after taking over the job midway through the qualifiers. The committee members believe that Le Guen has the pedigree that will naturally command respect from players of the Super Eagles which will help bring the much needed sanity and discipline the football house is trying to instill in the senior national team. source http://www.reportnaija.com/2016/06/nff-to-name-super-eagles-coach-july.html

ccording to a post shared on Facebook by Abraham OC Ogolo, doctors at a Nigerian hospital removed a giant fibroid weighing 26kg from a woman's stomach. His post below: "Doctors from Safe Hands Medicare Center Nigeria have removed this. According to the hospitals social media report, confirmatory results shows that the mass weighed 26kg in Histopathology lab and was a 32cm degenerating fibroid. This makes it the Largest ever mass to be removed from an individual in any part of the world. Update: this surgery took place in 2014 in Nigeria...but still news to many..so continue reading... The surgery was done without blood transfusion Access to good healthcare can make a difference. This is the reason I campaign vigorously for universal access to good quality healthcare. It is a common belief in Africa that a woman with a large mass such as this one may have been cursed by someone in her present or in her past life. Some unqualified personnel may even attempt to make incisions (cuts) with unsterilised blades or knives all over her abdomen. She may be given different substances to drink and eat in order to deflate the tummy. Wrong diagnosis can be done in the absence of diagnostic equipments. This is the reason many still die in developing countries" source http://www.reportnaija.com/2016/06/photos-nigerian-doctors-removed-giant.html cc lalasticlala

The Executive Secretary, Nigeria Extractive Industries Transparency Initiative, NEITI, Waziri Adio, has expressed the readiness of his agency to collaborate with the EFCC, in tackling corruption in the Nigeria by reporting serious infractions that violate the country’s constitution. He made this disclosure on Friday, June 17, 2016 during a courtesy visit to the acting Chairman EFCC, Ibrahim Magu at the Commission’s Head Office, Abuja. According to him, “we have an Act that criminalise certain behaviours; if people do not corporate with us, if people do not give us information on time, they are liable to be prosecuted, fined and jailed. But, we have existed for 12 to 13 years and nobody has ever been tried under our Act and that is not to say some infractions would not have occurred.” Adio stated that the major issue is the lack of power to prosecute, adding that NEITI as an organization, only carries out audit. source http://www.reportnaija.com/2016/06/photos-neiti-partners-efcc-on-graft.html cc lalasticlala
