Hello house if one is being sponsored and sponsor has dedicated every funds needed into ones account,the tuition fee and living expenses, under the IMM form the fund available for study option..does one need to add the sponsors account closing statement amount to it or it wud just be the applicant closing amount since needed fund has been sent to it

Tax clearance is not compulsory to submit. Business registration cert and memart is must. The reason for the inactive status is because you haven't been filing annual returns with CAC. It's unconnected with tax. This can be fixed in less than 10 days. Annual returns filing cost between 10k (small comp)and 15k ( big companies)for each year. Reactivation costs between 5 to 8k. Plus Processing fee.

Pls house I have a question..my father who is my sponsor CAC is inactive on the corporation website and the Tax clearance certificate is also due since December 2022...pls which one of is compulsory to tender as the amount to activate both is somehow expensive...or the two us compulsory

The literal meaning of self sponsor is clear. If your dad or relative is bringing 80% of funds then he is your sponsor. But why are you worried if you aren't self sponsored except you have been working or doing business for a while then it's expected you significantly contribute to your education.

Whether he sends part or the full money, the transfer of funds/gift deed is to demonstrate he has made the money available to you. Doesn't change the fact he is your sponsor. And yes he has to attach his statement of acct and all the supporting docs I listed to show the source of the money and how he earned them.

I don't understand one thing, u ask him to do gift deed and he shd Also be my sponsor...dos sponsor do gift deed or he wud only send as part of his sponsorship

Possibly state how you will come back to take over the business from your dad using the knowledge and skill you will acquire from Canada stating clear plans the expansion/improvements you intend to bring into the business when you return from Canada. I want to assume your program is related to the business. All this should be covered in a well detailed sop with supporting docs and you would of get positive result.

U mean my dad? He has been in business for over 20 years now and if you asking about mine.i just joined his business 2021

Your dad will be your sponsor. He can have the money transferred to you and do a gift deed to cover it. But you will still add all supporting documents to show the source of the money which will include the business doc, the shopping complex docs, rental agreement, receipt of payment for rent, previous rental receipts and agreement if available, if he is actively in business then add receipts of sales, purchases/invoices, and all docs to show his business, and ofcourse his other assets. All this to show he is a capable sponsor .

If you start online, you can enter Canada and still continue the September intake and don't have to defer or start the Jan intake of the new school.

Yes but the problem you might will be at POE. Let's say the visa comes out when your September program has started. What do you do? What do you explain to them at POE that you are coming in after your program has started.
Ask your school if your program can be started online pending when you get approval. With this you have plausible explanation to give the immigration guys at POE. Then also, you still have the option of continuing the current program or switching to the January intake which might not be necessary.

Gurus In the house, pls I need a candid advice on this step am planning to take..am for September entry and my visa is still on process, I try to defer buh I was told my course January intake is full and my course has no may intake as I have to wait till next year fall intake..am planning applying to anoda school with January intake buh Enter Canada with my current school visa for September if it actually comes out ...pls is dis realistic

On this I dont know maybe theyve chnage the process buh u have to submit original of every documents u are submitting plus a cloured photocopy with it..once ur visa is approved, they wud return the original copy with ya passport and if odawise..all ur documents wud be returned in ur envelope!

For those yet to submit their visa at the embassy of VFS, here's a simple guide and tip to help you. I just submitted mine and I wish someone told me this.

1. The embassy will only take coloured photocopies of every document from you. So you need to need print photocopies of every single document, just the important ones. You can go with the original copies of your documents but after they see it, you will give them the coloured photocopies. They won't return any documents (apart from your passports) back to you. Hence make coloured photocopies of documents that are vital e.g NYSC certificate, birth certificate, and School certificates.

2. Make coloured photocopies of all the pages of your previous and current passport photographs. Make two extra coloured photocopies of just the data page of your current passport too.

3. There's a questionnaire you'll fill. Most of us didn't have it, so we bought it inside the embassy and filled it. After filling it, still make a coloured photocopy of the questionnaire and submit too.

4. They do photocopies at a cheaper rate inside the VFS office than outside. Don't listen to those people outside the building, go inside and you will make any extra copy for ₦100 - ₦200. This is for Lagos o.

5. You can pay for your passport taken inside there too. I think it's ₦1,800 or so. You can pay for this service online when booking your appointment or when you are there physically. Again it's cheaper than doing it outside.

6. Put your documents in files/envelopes and name them appropriately so you can give them out when you are asked.

7. Make sure you submit all the documents on your checklist, including the ones you weren't asked to bring. The lady forgot to ask me to submit my work reference letters, so I went back gave her.

Hello house, have paid 2500 deposit and and my dad send 5millon into my account as living expenses before the naira hike...with 40m in his account..my app was refused..this time ard my dad want to send me the remaining tution balance into my account for the whole year....do.i have to attached his bank statement again or i shd just go as self sponsor or my dad shd write letter of support! Pls am asking on behalf of a frd..he had a refusal January, so he submited his second application on Monday buh while we taking today...he said he did not address the reason for his first Refusal and buh only apply like he is applying new, and added document like payslip, employment letter, Study leave, whch he did not submit in his first application and also retouched his CV..buh he declared the refusal in his form!..am about advising him to withdraw buh I want to hear views on dis page! ..still the same course and school any lead plss
