The Issue here is you need to provide ur sister employment details to show what she do to justify how she came about the money in her account before ur mom send her the 8 million which the VO see as lump sum! They want to see if ur sister is established as she is on self sponsor Fogun: Hello Gurus in the house, please I need your help to respond to this VO's concern. I applied for my elder sister on the 22nd of April 2023 and got a rejection on the 10th of May 2023
Basis of rejection - Your assets and financial situation are insufficient to support the stated p u r p o s eof travel for yourself (and any accompanying family member(s), if applicable).
I requested the GCMS and here is the note:
She had a lump sum of 8M deposited into her account from my mum as a gift, this was explained in the LOE, mother provided a notarized gift letter as well as an affidavit of relationship and support. She has about 1.2M in her mutual fund account. Total funds in Naira is 9M for a 1-year program in NB
Total available funds after first-semester tuition is 27,000CAD 1 year of study, the remaining tuition for the second semester is about 5,000 CAD, bringing the remaining funds for living expenses to 22,000 CAD.
Please how do I address this concern for the next application?
I will appreciate your help @makano, just mellow, Frankrobbn, annon and others |

Thank u bro for dis buh pls what wud u advice I do on how to move the amount from my savings to the POF account, the funds that enter the account are in thousands at most 200k at once cos it's my business account...plus am already planning my sponsor to send 4million into my account...shd that be enough joefit4gur: How much is the highest amount wey dey enter your account steady, if it's in the range of 1M - 1.5M, it's not a lump sum, if it's in the range of 200K - 500K, it's a lump sum. That's how you know.
If your opening balance is in the hundred thousands, and the closing balance is in excess of 7-10M, LUMP SUM!!!
Your sponsor can send you first semester tuition and one year living expenses, then still show POF that you or sponsor is capable of remaining fees. |

I sent u a mail bro harkintem: Hello guys, I will advise y’all not to fall for this cos I suspect this is a scam format trying to lure people to use the agent. This user @DerickDerick just opened this account few days ago. If his story is true congratulations but pls don’t pay any agent, you can do it yourself, you can get the right information on this trend |

Oh thank you..did that already Bernice123456: It's only the school that can answer this question. Send an email to the school, you should probably look for the international student email address or the admission unit email address, any will serve. Just tell them your challenge, they are more responsive than you imagine (my experience though). Good luck |

Ok bro..I just ask to clear my doubt! Thanks for dis Bernice123456: Do you have a first degree? If yes, then you should be going for something higher not lower.
I believe you have applied before and you indicated your first degree. Don't come and lie in your application that you don't have one now. You maybe misrepresenting your self.
Instead go for a PGC or advanced diploma |

I did, I atteaved his CAC, tax receipt, memorandum of association, Dangote agreement of distributorship and I attached my Educational Consult documents too.. picture of my office.. Welsh2np: When people say all these “I had over 100Million in account and was still refused” I just laugh.
It’s really not about the amount. The 42M in your dad’s account is very much okay. And especially since it’s your dad, it’s certainly not refusal based on “insufficient evidence to proof relationship between applicant and sponsor”-
What is the likely reason for refusal? SOURCE OF FUNDS. I’m sure you didn’t attach enough information on what your dad does (employment) and how he gets his money (including payslips and/or business documents). - Also, how old are you? You provided any employment information for yourself? Any personal assets? - you can also think of doing GIC or paying a full year’s Tuition.
All-in-all, It is not advisable to reapply without getting your GCMS notes. |
