The National Leader of the All Progressive Congress, APC, Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu who has been in the News for wrong reasons after celebrating his 69th birthday is facing a serious backlash over his contradicting age both on his CV and on the Internet.

The leader of the ruling party celebrated his 69th birthday followed by the famous colloquium which was held in Kano state very recently. The colloquium which had the high and mighty in attendance, including the President of the Federal Republic of Nigeria who chairs the event virtually was one of a kind for the National Leader of the ruling party.

The two times former Governor of Lagos State, who is considered to be the backbone of politics in Lagos State in general is said to be eyeing the seat of the President of the Federal Republic of Nigeria come 2023.

Although people are canvasing for zoning the mantle of leadership to the South, but it seems the "Jagaban" of Lagos (as fondly called by Lagosians) is bent on picking a ticket for Presidency at all cost. Trouble started for the National leader of the ruling party after he celebrated his 69th birthday very recently.

Nigerians took to the internet to verify his real age from his Wikipedia page and was shocked at the contradicting age on the page.

It was alleged that his age on wiki is not the same as the one he is celebrating, as he was accused by many Nigerians both at home and abroad to have reduced his real age by 10 years, in abid to deceive Nigerians into voting him to power come 2023.

On his Wikipedia page, Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu who is the 12th Governor of Lagos State and ruled for 8 years was said to have been born on the 29th of March, 1942, going by this date, Tinubu should be 79 years of age on 29th March, 2021.

The People's Democratic Party, PDP is said to be dissatisfied with the alleged age of the possible Presidential candidate of the All Progressive Congress, APC in the forthcoming general election has come out to call him out for lying to Nigerians about his age.
PPD went further to accuse Tinubu on their Twitter handle of lying to his fellow politicians in the likes of The vice President, who tweeted about Tinubu being 64, On Wikipedia, he is 79, on his Curriculum vitae, he is 69.

According to PDP's analysis, if Tinubu is 69, Then he was 9 years when he welcomed his daughter who is said to be 60 years in 2021.

People's Democratic Party, PDP also alleged that the Mother of the "Jagaban", Late Abibatu Mogaji died in 2014 at the age of 68, if Tinubu is actually 69 years old in 2021, then his mother had him when she was just 6 years.
