Since contact was purportedly made with the skin of the plaintiff, do we suppose that the plaintiff assiduously protected her skin, or at least the areas around the affected mammaries, from contact with water since the purported occurrence of this unfortunate event - even though it was more than a month ago?

I once more wish to draw your attention to obvious discrepancies in the plaintiff's account of the event - discrepancies which, if considered appropriately, will cast a serious doubt on the veracity of the plaintiff's submission.

1. In her first statement, the plaintiff submitted that

Please note her assertion that the accused saw her. From her positive submission, we can surmise that she was visually aware of the accused when she was assaulted by him, as alleged.

2. In her second submission:

Here, in obvious contradiction of her previous submission, she says that she did not see him.

Gentlemen of the jury, since, by the plaintiff's own admission, the other party in this dispute, Mr Afeni, was absent from the scene of the incident until this time, and she did not see the defendant, perhaps we can be better informed as to how she knew to describe his approach in such detail? Placed side by side with her previous submission, is there not a justifiable concern here that there could be a grave travesty of justice?

I ask, once more, that the plaintiff be discounted as unreliable. We have seen that her accounts change at will, are inconsistent and solely tailored to discredit the defendant - a honest, tax paying citizen of our great nation.

I trust that, in the conscientious manner you have displayed thus far, you will treat this matter with the alacrity it deserves, and grant the defendant acquittal of this malicious accusation.

I rest my case.

Where in my statement did I say that I saw IBB? I didn't see him but I know whatever he did was rapid. It was like he was eager to rape me. In this first submission we are told by the plaintiff that the Afeni in question was not at the scene of the crime. In an effort to clarify her statement, she introduces another aspect of the tale which directly contradicts her earlier statement, viz

From her statement also, it is not particularly clear whether or not the accused was in the same vicinity. Note that she used the word 'ran to me' to describe the movement of the accused.

This implies that the purported crime must have taken place in an extremely spacious enclosure or in the open air, even thought she attempts to attribute the accused view of her to his 'peeking through the window', in her own words.

In view of the fact that the plaintiff has been established as one whose testimony is unreliable, or at best inconsistent, and cannot therefore be relied on for dispensation of justice in this case, I hereby request that this case be summarily thrown out of the court for want of evidence.
