Hi guys, I am a serving coper in Jigawa state. I will be sharing my experience so far in this state.
Note: 1. this is just to provide info for those posted here or those that want to be posted here
2.info is based on the current trend in Jigawa state
3. Feel free to ask questions

My experience/perception
Jigawa is a very peaceful(no boko boys here) and friendly place.
It has about 27 LGA, 5 emirates.
Nysc zone are 3, dutse, Kazaure, Hadejia.
Jigawa has two camps, Gumel and Fanisua
Of course, some places are OK to live in and some are apology
Most of all the LGA provide accommodation except dutse town
State government pay coppers allowance bimonthly
Amount is 5k (non medical coppers), 16k (Nurses, pharmacy, Physiotherapists, med lab etc) and 26k (doctors, Dieticians, Dentist)
Housing cost in dutse is from 35k -50k.

Mehn! ! I've already collected my medical certificate from the medical Centre in my school(unn) but the certificate didn't entail all (in fact none ) of the tests u mentioned..

Does it mean I should go and ask them to do another one which includes those tests? Abi I should relax and carry this one is have as its stamped with doctors details and other stuffs

My own celebration/holiday was o.k too. Only that the week end seemed too long and the nature of where I reside, loneliness makes staying here very boring. PCM? No I am not. I am already done with NYSC service. What abt u, are one or an ex corps member or an under-g?

No! Get it right. They entered camp on 13th of June last year for a one year programme which should end on 13th June, this year to make it complete one year. But nysc is giving them 3-week terminal leave. So June 13 minus 3weeks will be on 23rd of May. The terminal leave starts on 24th of May. That's why the POP is on May 24. But in their certificate, NYSC will write 12th June as their POP date.

In the case of stream1 2016A, they entered camp on 27th April 2016 to make it one year on 27th April 2017. Now minus the 3-week terminal leave from 27th April and it will be around 6th or 7th of April which was their POP day. You understand?


But the only confusion abt this stream ii is that on that 24th May, the officials must have started orientation camp program with the batch A17. How then will they combine the two important programs the same time?
