For goodness sake,the Commissioner of education needs more Trainning on Administrative Orientation nd Procedures.

Tommorow they will equally make another political statement!!!

What Will Governor Rotimi Chibuike Amaechi and the Commissioner of Education tell the Rivers State Chapter of the Nigeria Labour Congress and Trade Union Congress on their Address on the Workers Day Tommorow!!! I have this strong believe that the Governor wouldn't be present nd as such will send the deputy Governor to cover for him. Its indeed a Disgrace and an embarrassment to this administration that they couldn't conduct a much publicised recruitment for Teachers. All they are interested now is their PDP court case Felix Obuah/G.U Ake Brouhaha. I repeat its indeed a shame.If it where during the era of Man no man in the recruitments in Rivers State Ministries,the shortlisted ones would have started work since last year or probably January 2013. Whatssss happening in this staaaaaaaaaate?

My brother,it hasn't gotten to that but I feel they should atleast past the List,even if they past the wrong or manipulated list,its a kinda better than embarrassing themselves by delaying the entire process!!!

Same Old Story Continues. The Governor is indeed funny.At the RUST Convocation on saturday,he boldly told the Vice Chancellor to recruit More Lecturers!!!. I was all smiles cos it now seems that pronouncement of Recruitment/Vacancy is now a usual part of his Speech at different Occassions. Pls @U3fine-would you be at the Ministry Today.

I got information that the exercise won't exceed May 1. (Workers day) cos it was last year's workers day that gave birth to the recruitment process. Exactly a year ago. I pray its true.

My Fellow Nairalanders!!! this thread is getting boring by the day due to the turn of events.Another Friday looms nd this week will be over,thereby making it one month of a deceitful pronouncement on the pasting of List and issuing of appointment letters by the Governor on several occassions. As for all the predictions on when and how the list will be pasted are indeed welcomed but if indeed that they are waiting for May 1st,whats of great importance to it.The thirteen thousand Rivers Teaching Recruitment is already known to Nigerians.I strongly believe that there is more to it than we know. I have visited the Ministry for the Fifth Time this Morning but no one seems to know whats happening as usual. The Wait for the list is indeed Embarrassing.I dont know what it takes to paste Names and then give further instructions on the way forward. God Help Nigerians.

I just recieved the message again but with a caveat stating that i should ignore it if i have gotten the message before.With a deadline stating on or before 23rd April. I no fit slack,i am sending it again.

This news was on the 4th of April,2013. Tommorow will be 23rd April 2013. So what's the News for? Only the Governor,Commissioner for Education and permanent Sceretary will indeed tell us the Truth about this Exercise. Its indeed dehumanizing,the first Quater of the year ends this Week. Visited d ministry this afternoon and nothing was happening.Nobody seem to have a clue about the List issue.All d best anyway

Schools Resumed Today and the recruitment is still wrapped up in silence. I fear for the recent pdp political crisis in River State. Hope it wouldn't consume the recruitment started long ago.Many have gotten better Alternative platform by being successful in the National Identity Management Commission recruitment. This will indeed reduce the population adversely cos many will prefer NIMC nd shun the Rivers Teaching appointment, while those who needed the Rivers Teaching Job wouldn't be able to make it. Let the will of the Lord be DONE.

After tommorow,the wait must have lost its Spice on this Teaching Recruitment. Even Nimc a federal Government parastatal under the presidency that conducted exams last month have started calling people for their interview/documentation in Abuja. Yet the Rivers State Ministry of Educations silence is what has loomed since the political statement by the Governor. Visited the Ministry this afternoon during break nd nobody seems to know what's the next line of action.

kismo: My fellow nairalanders, I just got this authentic information from a very reliable source. Out of the thousands of applicants that sat for the test, ONLY 2000 plus passed, hence the reason why they invited those who missed the first test to come and write. Even with that, few people passed. The recent development is that they will either re-advertise the vacancy by giving room for other fields of study and qualifications to come in or introduce "Moral Qualification" (honestly, I don't understand this o) to enable them get the required number of staff needed for the job. When I asked him what he meant by "moral", he said since the job has to do with curbing criminal activities, there is need to introduce that. I really don't know how they want to go about that o. But the result of the test may not be published any time soon because of the above mentioned. They will soon hold a board meeting to deliberate on what to do. Let's just be hopeful that whatever decision they arrive at will favour us. SHALOM!

Pls dont Give us such information!!! Nigerian Graduates are not halve baked, How could over 155,000 fail NIMC EXAM. Thats like passing a dead verdict on Nigerian Graduates. As for you knowing a Board member of NIMC,your credibility on this thread is Questionable. The Make up test that was conducted by Nimc was clearly stated in their website nd the reason why they did so. So forget this Mass Failure thing.HAVE THEIR BEEN ANY EXAM IN THIS COUNTRY WHERE IT WAS SAID THAT MASSIVE SUCCESS WAS RECORDED. Its CBT based nd can be marked latest in THREE DAYS.Dont u know that something must be wrong?
