pls feed him on demand, twice a day is not enough (in my opinion). he ought to av doubled his birth weight by now. & pls giv him water since he's takin formula. I still maintain dat no teething medication. when he starts teething, if he has a fever, infant paracetamol will do.

I just read the instructions on the formula, it's like the nanny @ the daycare has been given him only water as in his food is always very light. I planned doing the measurement at home into his feeding bottles, theirs is to just put the water and feed him.

I won't give him the teething drug.

If his weight is below average then you need to find a way to feed him even if he thinks he isn't hungry.

Hi. There is this mixture the people here gives their children which makes them put on weight. I gave it to my baby. Concerning the teething stuff, there is also an imported calcium i bought for my son. It was my sis in law that prescribed it cos she works with the minister of health in this country. So she told me to use it and my baby brought out teeth without being sick or vomitting or even seeing rashes.

Abeg, what is the mixture? And what is the name of the imported calcium?
Pls, give give me their names so that I can get when am ready. Thanks

And @rezzy if his weight is small try putting him on a schedule of 2/3 hours instead of feeding on demand, so you know exactly when he should eat and ensure he is getting enough

If he is not hungry, he won't collect the food even if it breeast. Okay, I won't give him teething drugs.

I ll advice u leave off d teething powder. My ds never took it, and he s fine. I also think u shld feed her more often, she s probably nt getting enuf. Wot quantity of milk do u gv her, u may probably increase it gradually.Give enuf water too and continue breastfeeding. Apart frm her weight, is there any oda issue? is she holding her neck nw?

Yes, he is holding his neck now. He poo often, it started when he was 2 weeks old . I complained here, they said it's normal. That time, immediately I finish breastfeeding him, he poo straightaway and it's foamy but now it's no more foamy. His poo is very light and has white stuff inside.

He weighed 2.89kg. Nop, he is taking baby food [NaN]. someone said I should give him bonababe

Someone advised I start now so that when he starts teething, it won't disturb him. He takes NAN and I breastfeed him also. He takes NAN twice a day, I don't give him weekend.

I don't keep records but he sucks fine. In the day, anytime he starts disturbing, I put bresst in his mouth. He sucks at least 4 times before daybreaks

Mama in the house, good afternoon and happy Sunday.
My baby is 3 months and weighed 4.5 on Wednesday. Is his weight okay? To me ooooo, he is too small . I bought vitamin c for him. what other drugs can I buy to help him stay healthy and add weight. And also can I start giving him teething drug?

I was taken to d delivery room by 11pm.. the matron on duty den decided to augument my labour so the contractions will be faster..meanwhile my phones had be switched off cos I didn't want my mum to find out. she later did and came to d hosp by 11pm with two different legs of slippers
I was given oxytocin inj on my lap, oxytocin inj in normal saline I.v..that was when labour started..father lord in heaven...Kai!! oh boy forget breathing technique o! it only works if u labour on ur own..I saw heaven on earth..the contractions were crazy..the back pains were outta dis world.I screamed my lungs out at d slightest pain
when it was 2am,the nurses checked again and said I was just 4cm dilated. my morale dropped..
then they bust my water..guess what? my prince had pooed..water was green..

This got me laughing. Congratulations. May the good Lord protect him.

Concerning diapers ehn, it's different strokes for different folks cos what one mum can say worked for her might not work for another. Me I no just wan bother myself as long as I make sure I use ori and nappy liner for the diaper! The liner will prevent direct contact to the baby's bum. Also it is not advisable to buy too expensive diapers for initial use cos you have to change frequently for newborns.So I will say follow your instinct while purchasing diapers.

It's true oo. In the first month, I used close to 150 pieces of diaper. Even till now, I'm still consuming diapers as if I'm working in diaper factory.

I did, it stopped when I was 6 months gone.

Of Course it does.It's the easiest way to wash them thou hand washing them is also possible.Raising multiples is not joke,everything is times 2, I had to borrow myself brain .Really, using and caring for cloth diapers is not as difficult as people perceive it to be,even if you are scared of pooh accident on the cloth diaper,a disposable/flushable liner helps easy disposal of the pooh.It has saved us lots of money ,thou I still use disposables during the day.

How much is the diaper sold?
