Hi fellas, pls i need little clarification here, i have already booked a flight with the Turkish airlines, after confirming from more than two nairalanders, that the airline is not requesting for covid test, i have started hearing conflicting info s, someone said that at the turkey airport they are asking flight passengers to pay visa fee because it's a connecting flight, pls i need an accurate info, pls help me.

that's not true..someone was complaining of this airline last week that they cancelled their flights 3 times and another person confirmed the same feedback..
also they do have a bad record of losing luggages especially during peak travel times like summer or school returns.. so I would also advise people to do likewise as previously advised..

yeah, this i know, but which one is "paying for visa because of the connecting flights'. As for the cancelling of flights, i heard that they only cancel flights dates are not valid, they are only permitted to operate Mondays, Fridays and sundays. I have already booked with the Turkish airline.

not at all, its a generic mail, it doesn't mean anything at all. Many people do get the mail within the time of waiting and still get their visas, it just means that they wont be able to complete your application at the supposed target time which could also mean that the Eco needs to make some verification as to the authenticity of your application. So don't fret, you will come out victorious.

As I speak to you, I’m currently in the uk via Turkish airline and NOBODY asked for covid test.... even the hand glove they said I should come with I didn’t even use it.... the plan was parked, no social distance.... no good food too �

You can book with them using the days of week assigned to them to fly according to the airports. I noticed they cancelled flights outside those days.
I am still trying to get first hand info on if there is demand for covid certificate by them. People who used them recently can tell us. No mention of covid certificate in their website.

Go to a teaching hospital in your state ask of Ncdc arm do a test there you will be issued a certificate, price varies depending on the location you are in, I did mine for 30k. Do the test after you book your flight. It should not exceed 72hours to your time or day of departure so you dont get turned back. After 72hours it's considered by them to be expired, Without it emirates wont let you board. Ethiopian airlines declare theirs 96hours for expiration. If you choose to go with Turkish and want lesser prices for flight move the date forward by 2weeks from today you will see lesser prices. If you book very very early you can get it less with economy but the closer the day to your set date of departure the more expensive it will become. I wish you sucess in making the right decision that will favour you.

@nonso10 , please can you update us about Turkish airline and covid at Lagos airport. You must have travelled by now. It will be painful for one to go and spend 50,400naira doing covid test only to find out on boarding day that it is not required.

from what i know, Turkish airline doesnt require the covid test certificate upon entry. D problem i am having in booking flight with the airline is that, the prices are really high this month, even Emirate is still affordable just that they require the covid test cert. This country don tire me.

Biometrics- 20th August
Collection email- 10th of September
Collection date - 11th of september.

Pls avoid booking with Royal air Maroc and Turkish Airline

Royal air maroc was part of the airlines not allowed to operate. Pls why shouldn't we board turkish airlines, pls tell us.

Please who gave you this info? Someone said Nigeria immigration at airport are requesting for covid certificate from every boarding passengers. This contradicts what is stated in the airspace covid website.

Please do update us of your findings with regard covid certificate at Nigeria airports.

Negative, this only applies to inbound travellers, a covid test certificate is a compulsory travel requirements by the Nigeria immigration from the country of exit, it does not apply to outbound travellers.
