Go back and read the post you qouted me and stop muddling up things. nwabobo: Dude, you are the one not getting it here. I listed some notable human capital that Anambra state alone has contributed to Nigeria and that is in line with the topic. Now, in case you don't know, wealth in the South East is not centralized unlike in the North where a man can be feeding the whole village. In Anambra state where I come from, there is hardly a nuclear family without a millionaire in it. For every Dangote you mention, I can list the Ibetos, Coscharis, Innoson, Emzor, Ekene Dili chukwu, Chisco etc all from the same Local Government Area. Can you do that for ur state? |

Remove the SE from Nigeria and nigeria is doomed. Other states like imo state produces palm oil also. Other states like Imo, Abia, Anambra has oil but they has not allowed its exploitation by de Nigerian government, if you doubt me travel round de SE states u will change ur mentality. |

The award of the most daftest post should go to this mooroon. >>>Notice the increase in the rate at which ediots with less than 30 post are commenting on this thread, all with the aim of discrediting the good work of comrade Adams. richforeva: I know Benin Very Very well. Honestly the pictures are deliberately misleading . They were all taken in the same place –Ring road. Apart from Ring Road, majority of the other roads in Benin are a complete write off. Most of the roads that that were rehabilitated were so poorly done that after rehabilitation the roads deteriorate rapidly and within days they are worse than there were before the rehabilitation. For example roads like uselu -Ugbowo road, New Lagos road Upper Adesuwa etc . Now there are a lot of roads that were motorable before the governor came on board but today are not passable. Example Uwelu .This government has a knack of working on already road in Benin .Take Akpakpava for example It was the best road in Benin when it resurfaced Same can be said of Ring road. The Aim is likely to window dress these roads especially as they are the roads visitors to Benin would most likely use. |

Ok - New Lagos Road is being fixed, from Akpakpava Road junction up to Textile Mill Road Junction. But from Textile Mill road junction on the Shagamu Express way all the way to the University gate and beyond, ask anyone in Benin, that stretch is what I mean by the entire length, I dont know what dimensions has got to what I am talking about. You will be amazed to even think that is Benin city. Ask anyone. Same goes for Auchi Road - eyesores.
Thank God I didnt study Mechanical Engineering. |

The general apperance of the roads are in good shape couple with the presence of heavy construction machineries littered around the state. This was just a scoop out. PhysicsQED: The pictures don't really match the tone of the thread.
That said, Oshiomhole is still definitely making a real effort.
Much of the criticism of him was just about university fees - which is basically just people having trouble adjusting to having to pay for the actual worth of their education, and not any sort of screw up on the governor's part. Education should be subsidized, but only to a certain (financially responsible) extent. |
