Am taking you by your words as a inner circle member.  cool

". . .Mallam, you are too intelligent to be bittered", are your words too him or is that part of the politics  wink wink.

Anyway sha, am NOT a card carrying member of ANY political party and dont want to get involved.

Beaf:
He went back to PDP. cool
El-Rufai only joined CPC close to the elections after trying very hard and without success to be in GEJ's cabinet.
PoliticsRe: Housing For All Under Vision 20:2020? By Nasir Ahmad El-rufai by Rhino4dm: 3:54am On Oct 01, 2011
El-rufai is a hypocrite. Was he not part of the problem? Saying the "truth" when am no more in government is the trend of the politicians.

How do you explain this. . .El-rufai was asked by senate commitee of inquiry in to his activity as a minister on why he chooses to allocates land to his friends and family in choice area of Abuja and he replied the senator" when you have the opportunity of becoming FCT minister share land to your enemy. . ." huh huh. Bravo!

Beaf:
Poor El-Rufai, he though GEJ lifted his exile to make him a minister. When no ministerial was forthcoming, the man started running around, firing his mouth like a fool and telling big lies. Thank God we have civilised govt at last, with the likes of Yar Adua he would still have been rotting away in exile.
The bold is not true. If he had gone back to PDP who do you think will be more qualified from Kaduna than him?

@ OP
If you have "read" through Nairaland's instruction, you should be able to locate the Educational Section, which is meant for post like this.

This section is call "Politics" because, only matters bordering politics is allowed to be discussed here.

BTW can you furnish us with statistics or any authentic data to backup your claims?
PoliticsRe: Why Is Rivers State In Darkness? by Rhino4dm: 8:27pm On Sep 30, 2011
You dont wanna start, do ya?. . .grin grin grin.

Those road are making Amaechi look very bad. My handset is filled with images of "Poto-Poto". I started a thread on the sorry state of roads in Rivers, to stimulate the need to put things in proper shape.

Though, they said the roads are "under" construction. It is actually a nightmare driving through Rivers except for old Aba road. . .

Okoro2015:
I happened to Ply Obigbo LGA today enroute Afam. I must confess, that was the worst nightmarish journey i'd ever embarked on.
Governor Amaechi should as a matter of urgency/emergency do something about that axis of Rivers State.
of Rivers State.

^ The power situation is very bad as it is, but there is a maintenance going on and i hope  the out come wont be thesame everytime. My problem is when you mention 'few days' and end up gulping 6 weeks without any sign of light, then people have the rights to start complaining.  Haven't they been patient enough?
PoliticsRe: Why Is Rivers State In Darkness? by Rhino4dm: 7:36pm On Sep 30, 2011
^ Stop diving in with your head or you can step out of your hotel room to feel the heat.

The said planned maintenance was schedule to take place last month and the whole state endure 3 weeks of darkness. Only to be told now that the transformer got burnt again. How can you put a whole state in darkness for 6 weeks without backups?

Check out a state like Rivers in darkness for 6 forking weeks!. Those in PH should come out to discredit my post

harakiri:
@xxxkubexxx, That's real talk man. One thing I've noticed with relationships is that you are either cheating or being cheated. It doesn't matter if you are dating or married. It's just a matter of time before the inevitable happens. The sad part is whereas men are easily found out, women hide theirs to their dying days. A woman can sleep with all your brothers, cousins and friends and you won't suspect a thing until one of them opens up or acts suspicous. I have tried deluding myself in the one man-one woman relationship and in the long run, I end up being cheated on (I'm not ashamed to admit it coz it's life experiences). The only time you can keep a woman on her toes is when they know you have a roll call of women to replace them and they know you can dump them at the drop of a pin. They can be so dumb and stoopid most times with their reasoning.
My first love thought me that it is always good to be on the attacking side. This girl had only 8 contacts on her phone and i was busy bragging about how sincere she was until, one faithful sunday i was with her in their sitting room and a phone rang in their bed room and her little sister rush out to give her"love love your phone is ringing".
I actually came in unsual without the knowledge of her siblings. Mehn! Come see numbers of men on that phnoe including my close friends. I was devastated to the point of death.

Since that day,i vowed never to be caught off guard. Funny, i discorverd this shiit after 2 years into the relationship and almost a marriage proposals. Some women are born2 cheat.
RomanceRe: If The Girl You Want To Mary Ask You This Question ''can U Take Care Of Me? '' by Rhino4dm: 5:00pm On Sep 30, 2011
@ OP
Are you sure your friend is  really taking care of her? How many times his dicck don touch her upper abdomen?

There was an incident like this in the north. A lady reported her husband to her family.  That he is not taking care of her and her father demanded to know the area the guy is faulting so that he can compliment and she said he provide everything except dicck,

The family of the girl invited the guy to get his own side of the story. . .the guy was very boastful of all the things he put inplace for her comfort.

He started by saying "I bought 2 bags of rice, 1 bag of salt, 2 keg of palm oil, 3 bottle of groundnut oil and . . ." then the father of the girl angrily cut in and shouted "young man! how many bags of blockos did you left for her to eat?".

So, advice your friend to give her life threatening forking and wait for results. Shikenan.
PoliticsRe: Power Supply Improves On 4300mw Generation by Rhino4dm: 8:21am On Sep 30, 2011
slashing out those fees from the source would have been the best option, for i know alot of parastatals that prefer sharing the utility bills among some cartel than remmiting it to the appopraite authorities. But how do you intend to wrestle among those vultures(state governors, with exception of few) without them formenting trouble by various stuupid go-slow litigations.

Come to think of those greed ediots that can never contribute any dime to the country than openning their hands wide waiting for federation allocation. How pathetic!

I hope to see a remarkable success is recorded in the area of electricity generation.

Beaf:
The privatisation process is already in full swing, but until it is completed states govts have to be responsible and pay their bills. IMHO, a way should be found to sanction them, maybe deduct the money from their monthly Abuja allocation.
PoliticsRe: Power Supply Improves On 4300mw Generation by Rhino4dm: 7:51am On Sep 30, 2011
why cant we just privatize PHCN and allow competent hands to manage the distribution which will surely save us from "appealing" to state governor to be paying their bills?

Bring on indepedent private power generating companies, give them assurance on their investment by making commitments and allow the market forces to determine the price, thus government can layback watch as a regulatory body making beautiful laws to support the system.

Beaf:
In order to sustain and further improve on power generation, state govts need to learn to pay the bills. PHCN is owed a N100billion or more by the states.

PoliticsRe: Gas Revolution - For The Attention Of The Cynics by Rhino4dm: 10:26am On Sep 29, 2011
check this out. . .I applied for a subcontracting job in UK via my company. After winning the job, the UK immigration office replied the company giving me the job to look for local substitutes for three months, before they can allow my company access to the documents/permits to bring in my men? Can you believe this?? That day was the most sorrowful day of my life. I felt like going to airport with AK 47 and shoot any stuupid experterate coming here.

Well, thats gone and i have moved on and concluded that our government can not help its citizens . The terrain is rough for us here, but you can still survive when you are good technically.
PoliticsRe: Gas Revolution - For The Attention Of The Cynics by Rhino4dm: 10:12am On Sep 29, 2011
In places like Angola, you cant stay more than three years as experterates while in Naija
i know alot of white guys that have been here since the era of military. Funny, when i travel with one french dude to paris last year, the ediot was speaking pure "waffi" and was bragging on the number of years he is working here. Another very sad aspect is, majority of them are working with visiting visa. . .and paying tax back home

Imagine a fulkernize paid 5000 euros/month in a comminuty with thousands of qualified fulkerzershuh Very sad! You as, a technical guy is not seeing what a "common" fulkernizer is recieving in a month.

What more? Even the so-called experterate still employ the services of local guys to do the jobs for them at very meager amount.
PoliticsRe: Gas Revolution - For The Attention Of The Cynics by Rhino4dm: 10:01am On Sep 29, 2011
No probs. . .I hope the PDP wont politicize this wonderful project as usual. In reality, this what Nigerians should be involved in.

How do you think Local content law shall be protected in this project?. As, it is usual norm to see quacks flooding in from India and far east to take up what the community residents can handle perfectly.?

Imagine the last place i was contracting to had fulkerniser, time keepers, chefs, logistics officers, cleaners working as experterates. I was very sad when isee the jobless people in the comminuty collecting "marching ground" when their jobs has been taking up by quacks.

Me, am in Naija Portharcourt to be precise for now?
PoliticsRe: Gas Revolution - For The Attention Of The Cynics by Rhino4dm: 8:38am On Sep 29, 2011
Wow! This is exactly what my company does . . .I always feel pain whenever i see quacks taking over what we can do even better due to politics. (Typical NLander will say Rhino again).

I vow to pull out something from this development. Abuja here i come oooh! But Beaf, how about the political aspects of the "connection" you know what i mean?? Joke aside. If truely there is a sincerity on your part to see this project successful and not for your political purpose.
