This is really not fair to the members... nobody heard their own part of the story.
I think this case is a set up by some disgruntled elements within the house.

Why part of the story? As someone who has been in their culture for such a long time, you must understand these letters and actions are very (very) serious indeed. However, the reputation of Nigerians as dishonest and corrupt people factors into all this drama - the maid and assistant making these allegations in the US have a lot more credibility than the Speaker Dogara who they know will not do anything tangible but side with lies, or come up with some BS letter. Yesterday when I read them threatening legal actions, I knew these set of Nigerians are just too naive! FYI, those allegations would have been week investigated before the US government wrote the letter and revoked their visa within one week. The maid and parking assistants might even have taken polygraph tests - and passed, so they know to an almost certain degree that the allegations are true.

These maids and parking attendant (delivery man in my recent experience) even refuse to accept tips (extra money for work, just $10) - who would you rather believe?

Nigeria (all Nigerians) needs to declare a full military offensive against the ND militants / ipob / Fulani herdsmen now otherwise they will destroy this country - they are nearly succeeding as is. This is a good idea for the ibos, hope they can cooperate and make it happen like today! Not only should you take the goods but also the ibos should follow their containers to Iboland.

However, I am certain that the SW and other parts of Nigeria will gladly start their own manufacturing outlets and factories in the spaces vacated by ibos and import the balance of what is required into Lagos, Ogun, Ondo and sell there to other parts of Nigeria and West African countries. They are angry about their degraded and polluted environment and their solution is to keep blowing up more pipelines, well-heads, illegal refineries that cause massive spills? GEJ refused to provide the $1 B for the environmental cleanup and while the current government was already committed to this project, the same ND responded to the gesture by causing more massive pollutions by bombing more infrastructure, causing more pollution, scaring away investors, and now they want to farm fish? Who is fooling who? If you can bomb the pipeline and jubilate, you can as well remain in darkness! I am having power 48 X 7 here but there are no lunatics sabotaging power infrastructure over here! Nigerians keep wishing to have power like SA (40,000 MW) but SA kept adding capacity while Nigerians keep reducing capacity by destruction. If you continue like this, you will never have good power supply and will live an under-fulfilled life in an under-performing economy. Rather than deregulate just fuel, the government should make power the responsibilities of state government or regions.
