First bank is in hot soup
A former employee of First Bank of Nigeria Limited, Adesuwa Ezenwa, has accused billionaire industrialist Oba Otudeko of massive fraud during his time as chairman of FBN Holdings Plc, the parent company of the bank.

Bisi Onasanya, the bank’s managing director/chief executive officer at the time, was also named in the allegations.

Mrs Ezenwa, who the bank summarily dismissed in October 2016, has initiated legal action against First Bank at the National Industrial Court of Nigeria, Lagos Judicial Division, seeking redress for the termination of her appointment, which she said was done “without any reason whatsoever being offered.”

The former First Bank staffer is, among other reliefs, demanding five hundred million naira in damages and twenty-five million naira in legal costs.

Education / Re: Top WAEC Scorers In 2009 And Where They Are Today by Rhymeyjohn: 10:16am On Aug 19
lorhema:
Hmm.

I spent some time this morning chatting with a friend and her young daughter.

I asked the daughter how she found her school and she said she didn't like it. She's going to JSS2 next academic year.

She talked about episodes of not getting enough food at the canteen, finding a fly or hair in their food. She said that that the quality of the food was poor.

She said that the students had been warned not to tell their parents anything negative but must make reports to stated officers.

She talked about the uncleanliness of the dining room which would only undergo deep cleaning when parents were expected.

She complained about a teacher who ended a term without taking eight topics and advised the class to read them on their own. And about teachers who would just come to the class to dictate notes.

Her mum said she wanted to talk to the school officials but her daughter asked her not to do it so she wouldn't be hounded.

As she listened to her child again, she said she would talk the religious body which owns the school without letting on that her daughter was involved. I told her it wouldn't work because they would know she got the information from an insider and would link it to her daughter.

This is a school which used to get the WAEC excellence awards. Things have deteriorated there even though their fees are very high, some of the highest in the country.

One must try to get updated on the situation in schools which they are interested in sending their children to and not rely on the messaging from schools.
Quite sad!

Why no mention the name of this particular school, I am interested. Don't worry, you have no fear, it's an anonymous forum

Obidents should better wake up and stop following hype. Tinubu is not a gentle man. He is doing the hard work of street campaign.

In my side of Lagos, there is hardly any Labour party poster. None that I have seen. To take over Lagos is beyond online things ooo

Christianity guarantees suffering, all that will live godly must suffer. But if you call not dressing naked or going to night club suffering, well you're in your own world. DL members for a very very long time and percentage of their existence have not been denied the best foods spiritually, abundance of life, joy, good education, music, professions, promotion and the many basic goodies of life. If you feel pained that they miss/missed out by not watching TV, hello i have big TVs almost everywhere, i have not watched one minute of TV this year. i do use it/them for other functions though. Oyedepo was telling young people the other year not to waste their lives on TV, phone and internet. So what exactly was missed. BTW, 360 degree is no turn but same thing, i guess you want to say 180degrees which would be a lie. The Deeper life i know still doesn't "permit" those things you mentioned. God doesn't change but His children including Peter and Paul are being constantly CHANGED into God's image. There are twists and turns when God truly leads you, otherwise it will just be an unchanging straight down.

Wow! Such brilliant argument, or rather exposition.

I'd which people will go back to their root which is Catholic Church, and try to understand the teachings and the values of the church instead of being played by this gangs of ruthless business men.

Pator david Ibiyeomi built home for the elderly people and handed it over to the Catholic Church. He wasn't stupid neither are you wiser than him.

Don't expect all this pastors to tell the truth you want to hear, not even pastor David Ibiyeomi will tell you the truth you want hear because it means his business will be on the line.

They know the truth but will never speak up to protect their business.

Business men in deed.

Try and be sincere. So it's Catholic that is not a business with people like Fr. Mbaka around?

I'm not judging but stop being the ostrich

In Nigeria, it's one thing to have a law, and another for it to be applied. Except it's a government agency, private organisations will not even tell you why.

At least, they won't be able to openly discriminate against. Those days where they say at screening, all HND kindly leave the exam.

About postgraduate admission with HND read this article https://postgraduatenigeria.com/2019/01/hnd-bachelor-degree-at-postgraduate-admission/

For 1, tilapia fish. Prepare students on habitat, with specific mention of tilapia habitat. I.e aquatic fresh water. Talk about its adaptative features to the habitat.

For no 3, that's obviously separation techniques in chemistry. Teach students on sublimation, magnetisation, filteration using all those items as example.

I have changed my blog URL. It's now Https.

I applied to AdSense but it was still rejected.
I don't know which of the terms I am breaking. Please help me with your knowledge. Thanks
webincomeplus:

Well, I didn't say the content isn't important. I only said he should start with the https fix. Google throws tantrums over little things at times.

The design is not so consequential in my experience. I once had issues with getting Adsense approval on a site of mine. I then had to hire one Pakistani guy on Fiverr. The major change he effected on the site was to change my theme to one ugly-looking, bland theme. He told me to reapply, and gbam! That was it.

What I'm trying to say is the beauty of a theme means nothing to Google. A visually appealing theme can be better coded can one with lots of decorative bells and whistles. And the minimalist, dull-looking theme might employ a code and structure that conforms to Adsense's requirements.

https on your blog could be part of it but it is not as important as the content to Google.

And from what I can see there, the contents on your blog are not good enough. More so, the design is substandard.

Many things...

Thanks. I'll improve

Is that site on WordPress or Blogger? You're not yet using https in 2021? Set that first before thinking of trying again with Adsense.

Thanks for the suggestion. I changed to Https but Goggle still refused AdSense.

What could be wrong again?
