The only thing I can say is that ibadan people likes Amala so much.. And I also enjoy seeing them having arguments, the scenario is always hilarious cos of there accent..

Here in Obosi, Anambra state..
It's difficult to spot a bungalow, let to say zinc house or rusty roof...

Buildings here are clustered and is 4, 5, 6 story building and above...

Hey,don't insult to make your point.
Well,Buhari did. But we're all equal before the law if not manipulated. He can't stop the anti-graft agency which is an independent body from carrying out their lawful duty and still claims to be allergic to corruption.
so you knew that he cannot stop anti graft agency but kept quiet when some ediots in politics kept blackmailing the president that he has withdrawn every case against sylva
CultureRe: 15 Top Rated International Musicians Of Yoruba Descent (Old and Contemporary) by ribbit:
Richiez:
If all yorubas could post useful information like this OP instead of hating on their igbo friends, then nairaland will be a better place...yorubas are good at doing music....big ups!
If ibos learn to respect other people, may be there won't be time for that... Or have you seen Yoruba write anything negative about Hausa or any other tribe in Nigeria?

Alhaji Agba didnt make impact? Bobby Benson didnt make impart? or Remy Lawson?

Well, you werent born then, so you wouldnt know

So always stick to facts you know

No offense
sorry I meant Bobby Benson. I have edited that post.... Sorry o Mr born then... It's not an achievement... Do you want to compare the likes of obey, ik dairo, fela, or king sunny ade to Barrister... Barrister was a star no doubt, he was able to shoot couple of videos abroad but not many people on the international scene recognised him like the people I mentioned above. Barrister and Salawa Abeni kinda have same level of recognition at a time

Can you say, because pasuma and obesere have performed quite well home and abroad, they should be mentioned alongside the people op mentioned?
CultureRe: 15 Top Rated International Musicians Of Yoruba Descent (Old and Contemporary) by ribbit: 5:35pm On Jun 12, 2015

what of late Ayinde Barrister, Kollinton, Remmy Lawson, Bobby Benson, Adeolu Akinsanya, Orlando Owoh, Salawa Abeni, Adijat Alaragbo, Ligali Mukaiba, Haruna Ishola, Yusuf Olatunji, Saka Laigbade?

Abeg, do your research well and stop misinforming the youths..
These people didn't make much impact the n international level except for may be Orlando and BobbybBenson which op didn't mention
CultureRe: 15 Top Rated International Musicians Of Yoruba Descent (Old and Contemporary) by ribbit: 5:31pm On Jun 12, 2015
Nice compilation

I like the fact that you compiled all those who didn't deny their Yorubahood like the likes of tayo Cruise, Chamillionaire etc

Although you omitted wale.

Wow, my guess is the best you had was secondary school education? And even at that you couldn't finish so you dropped out around say jss3?

You have had to steal, cheat and rob property to survive?

So having understood the grave difficulties you face daily in your life I trully sympathise with you. Honestly I feel for you.

PoliticsRe: Yoruba People Don Vex For Igbo's by ribbit: 5:34pm On Jun 11, 2015
imhotep:
Its not a question of YES or NO. That is a false dichotomy you are trying to introduce hastily.

Go and CONTEST in Igboland, then you will get your answer.
we know what you people did with your fellow ibos that aligned with so called "Yoruba party" .. So you expect someone from other region to participate in election even when the governors in Biafra are sacking their fellow igbos cos they are not indigene of a state..

Only a stupid person would see the obvious failure and still go the line.

you sound very unreasonable, who declared war on Biafra, ''to keep Nigeoria one is a task that must be done'' is a popular slogan during the war, chanted by who?. Abeg sidon.
ojuiku declared war and gowon (not yoruba) fought him.. So face each other and leave Yoruba out of your rants.

And now.thw mad dogs are out of their cages. Bloody beast!!! I couldn't be bothered by this vile comment because it's the extreme poverty and frustration you live in that encourages such Hatred.

All you have to do is ask for donations here on Nairaland and some of us would gladly assist you.

You won't graduate because you can't even afford university eduction
You will end up driving a danfo and blaming igbos for all your woes when instead of learning you choose to steal and rape your way around.

Trully you are a cursed individual who won't ever amount to anything, you will remain extremely poor.

At a time you won't even be able to afford your meagre data to browse nairaland to make tribalistic comments anymore and at the point you will still blame igbos?
lmao.. All this rants just for me.. What a rabid dog.. Someone chain this thing before it starts biting grin
