Flets: The true fact is that Lagos cannot be an investors haven with current inferior and lazy mindset of some yoruba folks residing in lagos as well as their oba.
You cannot want to retain the identity of communal lagos and still aspire to be the biggest economy in Africa.
One of the biggest threat to developing the true potentials of lagos are the recent outburst against foreigners (xenophobia). Investors will be careful about siting investments in a region where locals are exhibiting increasing hostilities.
Dangote and Ambode can try...... but the damage by the Oba will take a long time to clear.
Have you ever heard of outbursts from locals of New York, Paris, Berlin, Nairobi, London, Rome against other nationals or even foreigners?
Do you think the Queen Elizabeth will get away with what the Oba did? With recent events, Lagos might just be trekking backwards. mumu... Lagos gdp now worth over 92billion dollars... Bigger than over 50% of African countries thanks to the Yorubas ingenuity and accommodating nature... Before you shout lagos was once capital before, calabash and Katsina were once capital.. You flathe.ads across Niger should focus on them. Rome wasn't built in a day, lagos is on the part of becoming mega city and we don't want igbos to come destroy it for us.. Cos anything they touch become curse. |

cramjones: Ban these people now. We cannot tolerate people insulting the office of the President online. It will never be condoned.
1. Asset declaration: PMB declared his asset first to the CCB. He cannot just declare his asset on National Television first without first declaring to CCB and signing the asset declaration forms. It would be a breach of the constitution if he decides to do the latter first before doing the former. Kindly calm down and wait for him to declare his assets to the Nigerian people because it will surely happen.
2. Security: He has only been president for 48 hrs! He has made a Press statement already. We experienced a historic moment in our country's history and we must celebrate it. Boko Haram or no Boko Haram. PMB will defeat Boko Haram. Wish him well to do so for the interest of those endangered by them and for the survival of our country. To criticize him for celebrating the inauguration is nothing but foolishness! The declaration of citing the command headquarters for the war against boko haram wasn't presidential and assertive enough? Grow out of your foolishness before it consumes you!
3. Chibok girls: What the hell! I say what the hell! GEJ failed to act in the first 2 weeks of the kidnap, now the issue has become extremely complicated and you want him to tell you for certain that he will bring them back? No! He won't he never did. PMB only said that bringing back the girls will be priority and he will do his best to bring back our girls. Please stop this ridiculous claims and hate.
Finally, we must join hands to support this president. It is good to be a critic and keep the government in check, but there is no need being a foolish critic to gain cheap and foolish popularity.
Let us give PMB a chance. He has set the ball rolling in a country left destroyed by GEJ, and we must support him!
-CramJones oh puleaseeeee... did you say the bolded part during gej's era? im a fan of buhari and i voted for him .. i know he will still declare his asset publicly ... but stop making hypocritical statement like that.. |

For goodness sake, this guy has no clue about the Laws of Power.
You just got appointed adviser to the governor...and immediately, you are shouting you wanna be the governor at some point...how will your master see you?
Those who will be governor will keep quiet and allow people push them on. It is not by gragra...we have more presentable people...trust me Why are you so bitter? barcanista: I have not been comfortable on reading that the FG borrowed money to pay wages and salaries of workers. This is sad and a shame. Saner countries borrow to fund developmental project, ours is to consume and loot. One of our challenges in this country has been fiscal indiscipline, and it is appearing like we aren't getting better. Jonathan administration with due respect has done little or nothing to better the situation, and the APC program is more of consumption than long term development. Truth must be said, we are in a dire situation. The incoming administration have lots of work to do. the first time I will read something from you without you sounding like a slowpoke. |
