Before merger, we used to have over 100 banks.. Every ediots open a bank, people deposit , and the bank folds up, people lose their money ..
Thanks to sanusi, Nigeria now has less down 20 mainstream banks strong enough to compete with any bank in the world and with branches all over the world ..
Less down 20 banks divided by over 200million people equals 10 million per bank.

If they merge again, it changes nothing but increases there operations and they will employ new people and be more efficient. Or what is the point of keeping your money in a place that is not safe?
