Me I just tire for all these people shouting streaming is expensive. When you are not a sit at home man/woman. When I pay for Cable TV, I hardly watch up to 48hrs cumulative in a month. And aside from days of football matches, nothing serious is coming out of paid TV. Even YouTube alone gvs more entertainment than paid TV movie channels.

Compact is now 15k+ using 10k for 40gb data will last me more than a month.

These TV solutions (IPTV, Streaming) are all going to make you spend A LOT more on TV Monthly

If you don't have any other things to do except to be watching TV, then streaming will be expensive. But for people that go to work and have family who go to sch, streaming is way cheaper. Since on Saturday to today, after watching Liverpool match yesterday, my total data usage on streaming so far is roughly 6gb. Aside from weekends, we hardly watch TV beyond 2 hours, so it's way cheaper for me to stream than pay for subscription plus the advantage of watching what you want and not what they show you.

All these modern parents have failed in their responsibility.

Simply turn all NYSC camp to a farming training center... Then create farming centers across each state and deploy corpers there. Provide them with the necessary machines for farming and see how food prices will crash.

Some people are here shouting that streaming is more expensive as if you will be streaming 24 hrs a day in a month. Abi Una no get other things to do.

The streaming I did on Saturday that I discovered all these, from morning till after Chelsea match, I didn't blow up to 4gb and those saying 4k resolution will zap your data. There is a call of duty I watched yesterday on YouTube, it was 4k. A movie of about an 1hr30min, the data usage wasn't up to 2gb.

This post isn't to discourage anyone from using DStv, so if streaming is expensive, maintain your lane. Am only saying what I discovered I didn't say stop using paid cable TV.

You dont have to subscribe for casting. Once your phone have casting feature. you open the casting feature on your tv then use it to search for your phone. Once connected just like bluetooth, what ever that is showing on your phone will be displayed on your TV.

You need to see how i was happy internally when I oned my TV today, cos I knw there plenty channel waiting for me. After I came back from church, I searched for EWTN on youtube and watched the pope live afternoon audience. Nothing beats that control without fear of monthly expiration.

YOu wont get discovery channel live, but on youtube, you can search for the particular program you want to watch.

Take for instance, on Nat Geo Wild, there are programs like "Savage Kingdom", "Animal Fight Night", "Predators vs Prey".

All you need to do is to go to youtube and search for the programs, you will see them episode by episode.

There is no need to argue. Get a smart TV, stream a movie on YouTube or netflix, then get the resolution.
