If the SS and SE have an atom of sense, they should forget their difference and grievances with the SW(at least for now) and throw their support behind Tinubu.

Yes Tinubu did not start on a good note, but if you are a sensible Nigerian, you will see that some of his policies are good for this nation. Also some of his actions have dismantled some cabals holding this country to ransom.

Tinubu have done what some southern presidents haven't done and we all are seeing the reactions from the north.

From all indications, the north might try to make sure those policies didn't work or even try to make sure that Tinubu didn't win second term. And the north can't stop Tinubu second term except if the SE/SS backs them up. All these noise about the north deciding who wins an election is because one or two region in the south is supporting their candidates. The north alone can't deliver a president same way as the south alone can't.

For now, let the south come together and support Tinubu, later we can continue our tribal fight but if we want this country to have a little bit of development and peace, we need Tinubu to complete his presidency and if possible and another southerner with his ideology takes over from him. Somebody like Wike.

Idolatry doesn't end in having an idol that you worship and make sacrifices to. Anything that distort you from having total submission and focus on God is idolatry.

There is a neighbour of my brother in his market in Abuja, the man is made and worth around 50-100m. When my brother was preparing for his japa, the man keeps discouraging him, that since my brother has money, he has no business with japa.

Dec 2023, his family was travelling and they were kidnapped around Kogi state. The man paid ransom of 20m, they released his wife and jnr ones while holding on to his twin teenage daughter. He raised another money again, they released one of the girls holding on to the second. He has to sell some of his properties to raise money and finally got his daughter out. Now his back to square one. Bulk of his assets gone in less than 6 months.

Right now, the only thing coming out of his mouth is japa.

A lot of us have faith in this country, but things going on in this country in a daily basis is pushing our faith to the limit.

This is so painful to behold

Very painful to watch... See that man just collapsed after entering the hospital. This is to show how bad Nigeria is, the health sector is zero. Imagine that man with such an injury but he has to walk to the hospital himself, no ambulance, no emergency responders.

More reason why people with sense are leaving this nation.

Sorry to say, but the experience people have with single moms is what is fueling the stigma on single mom.

A greater percentage of single mothers are toxic, wicked, loose and cant take care of the home. They can't even bring up their children in a morally way/manner.

Emphasis on "GREATER PERCENTAGE ". Especially those who are single mom out of wedlock or via divorce. Those who are single mum through death of their husband usually have the husbands family to help look after her and put her in check.

Before you come for my head, my comment is based on real life experience as it's part of what I do. I have even written a thread about it .

As a lady, the best thing you can do to your self is to avoid being a single mother.

My brother finished with HND... He made sure we didn't go same route with him. Me and my sis have already gained admission in a state poly and my brother made sure we switched. I was even arguing with him about time wasted, but he insisted.

If you are under your parent roof, kindly quit. Before you know it, 15yrs is gone and there won't be any significant increase in you pay. By then it's too late.

If you hit the street, with time you will start making more than that.

I finished from secondary school around 2006 just last month I stumbled upon the pay slip of my teachers who are still teaching in that school. None of them earn above 110k, the highest is 125k and currently the principal. This is almost 20 years later.

Am not demeanor teaching job, but the school management needs to do better and the teachers too need to plan a growth part. If you have taught for almost 20 years, you should be a professor lecturing in the university. That should be your growth path.

This is what go get when you allow criminals to control you. They will definitely over shoot their boundaries and the whole citizens will suffer it.

This Maiduguri flood won't have been these bad if our agencies were to be proactive.

That dam that broke probably have been showing sign long before now.

And if the dam broke due to excess pressure as a result of excess rain, then an earlier control release of water would have saved the situation. Even if the flood still happen, it won't be this bad.

I can understand if the woman have stayed in the compound for up to a week, maybe the neighbours security consciousness have relaxed. But person just pack and under 4 hours you are allowing your kids to play with the person in this current Nigeria. This is carelessness on the part of the parent.

Back in early 2000s children of 10 years and below can comfortably trek for more than 3-5km while going to school without any adult escorting them, even strangers will be helping the children to cross roads and jump gutters. That time things aren't this bad. But now, it's foolish for a parent to leave a child in the hands of a stranger.
