Stalwert:Everything now, you call it iPod. What brought about iPod here. Or was it iPod leader that interviewed the General If you watched the video, you will know that he was been interviewed in a bid to pass a message to Buratai, briefing him on the situation on ground. Your annoyance should be with the soldier that release the video. That video was not made by mistake. The General was prepared and ready for the coverage. |
Lymasaba:lol.... You are so funny... NA supposed don be professor already |
F117nighthawk:Seriously, the success recorded by Chadian is overwhelming. If the Nigerian army have been dealing with BH consistently in this manner, we for don finish with them by now. |
Let's hope that the wrong intelligence given to them wasn't a trap set for them for boko boys to ambush them, cos I don't know how our soldiers will be suffering and dying while fighting rag tag terrorist... |
In the video, we can see him saying to a soldier, "This is not the time to cry, shake it off"... It's obvious they suffered huge casualties, but we that God that they succeeded in repelling the terrorists. |
According to him, they lost several soldiers during the mission due to wrong intelligence provided by military authorities. The question is.... The intelligence provided by the military, was there a mistake or the information was compromised. |
Was General Adeniyi removed from his post of Theater commander as a result of his outburst in the video that went viral. Hear what he said in the video... I’m standing here with Sector 2 Commander; the armed helicopter has just come to hover our air, the instruction I gave them was that anything they see moving they should engage because most of my gun trucks are not moving. Like I said earlier, the three battalions are fighting as deployed — nobody is running. “But what we have here, I will give you some estimates. Boko Haram has fired more than a hundred mortar bombs at us; they have fired 80 to a hundred RPGs at us; in addition to eight to 10 gun trucks firing at us from all sides. We have not run, and the soldiers are not misbehaving or disobeying orders. “We have casualties. I will come and see you in person on what we need to do. But we are not running. “We lost about 20 MRAP tires here. We have changed close to 250 Hilux tires due to the terrain. “This is what we are facing in the Timbuktu triangle. We are not running, we are fighting as a system to curtail the situation.” |
BreconHills:Even at that, it's not an excuse for us not to be able to flush these guys out of our soil. Even if we have to use the method Iraq used against Isis... |
The president spoke and followed it up with actions. Unlike some president who said he is surprised that the citizens were been attacked and killed by bandits and boko haram. Come to think of it, it's a shame to us that the soldiers of another sovereign nation is fighting terrorist on our soil... To make the matters worse, it's not like these soldiers are from the US, NATO or any of the world powers, but Chadian soldiers... How low could we get. |
Truth be told, if this election was free and fair, there is no way Buhari will be re-elected. But for those that voted for this regime whole heartedly, I have nothing to say them but a question. After all, even if shekau was to contest, someone will still vote for him. My question is... Are you happy with the current situation of Nigeria. |
On her wedding day, she introduced me to her husband and said to him... "This is the best of male friend that a lady can have"... |
If I were the health minister, I won't welcome such an idea... Let's deal with this virus our own way. Getting help these days esp from the Chinese, could be dangerous. |
Too bad... But is he not also on the frontline. Here is my country, a teaching hospital have refused to attend to patients cos they fear it could be Corona. See doctors running away from their duty. One of them told me that "nobody wan die quick"... But before they became doctors, am sure they were aware of the occupational hazard, so why running away now. What happened to isolating every patients that they admit now in a separate room where they can be observed cos chasing the patient away will only make the matter worst. If it is to go on strike while demanding for a better pay, they will do it with one mind. |
divicode:It's people like you that make our govt to take us for a ride. |
sweetsell:If you as a citizen of Nigeria is not worried about how our leaders and it's media aids joke with serious issues, then something is seriously wrong with you. |

Just look at the caption of this picture with the official APC handle on twitter.... Is this how low we have gotten. At a time when every nation is struggling to curtail the spread of covid19, this is what APC is doing.

Amid Corona and social distancing. See as they crowd the officer |
Here in Kano... A pack is already 18k. As at yesterday is was 15k. On Monday, it was 12k. Hand sanitizer of septol brand that is been produced by gongoni company right here in Kano shot up to 2400 from 800. Then I was wondering if the product was imported. |
Those men he refused to shake in that viral video will be dancing azonto by now. |
This is getting serious o... Let everyone just take caution. The rate of transmission seems to be faster than how they explained it. |
olaboy33:You made sense... It's not like there is a new case in camp... So y the shut down. They should rather not allow visitors into the camp. |
Gandollaar:How.... I want to learn from you. |
Meeyankee:I tell you my brother, there is no proper discussion any more, just pure hatred, jealousy and mouthful of insults. Look at the thread about northern Nigeria development on the front page. Instead of one to see comments applauding the growth achieved so far by the north, everyone is busy throwing insult, calling them almajiri and parasite. But the question is, are they not giving southern governors allocation too. Look at bayelsa, despite its small size and huge allocation, the state is nothing to write home about. And yet these guys can't challenge their govs, just looking for who to blame and insult. |
Meeyankee:It's really obvious this place have turned to kids playing ground. The one that piss me off the most is those ones that involve in tribal comments. The afonja and iPod groups. They see it as fun, not knowing the damage they are causing by throwing tribal comments against one another. |
Idontgiveafuck2:lol... Am pretty sure you didn't read my post. Secondly, I didn't see how sensible you sounded in your reply by calling someone names. It's wise to get some sense before you open your mouth. |
Greetings... I can't help but notice the way guys and ladies bash each other here. On several occasions, when a lady open a thread seeking and advise based on her current situation or maybe based on the mistake she made in life/relationship/marriage. More than 70% of the guys that will respond here will bash her personality instead of offering meaningful advice. It seems like guys here don't want ladies to have their freedom always bashing them and calling them names. There was a thread last week about a lady trying to move out of her parents house to leave alone. It surprised me how most of the guys started calling the lady potential olosho, that she is seeking for freedom to be messing around. I mean how low could some guys think. On another thread, a lady complained of how she got pregnant and dropped out of sch, next thing, guys started abusing her that she is a loose lady. How will the abuse solve the problem she is in already. Don't get me wrong, it's not like am supporting them in what they did, but there are ways of advising and correcting someone of their mistakes. Can't we just offer meaningful advise without attacking someone personality. The ladies too does same, but they do it out of reaction to the bashing they get from the guys. And because the guys are more in number on this forum, the ladies voice gets muzzled out. Let us be more matured in our dealings here cos our response to issues like this could actually push someone into depression. |
FuckAllTheMODs:Oh, you think all these banks have a contractor and gets candidate for them... They just employ you directly whilst giving it another name and terms of conditions. For uba contract staff, you undergo the recruitment process under UBA. All interviews and test are been conducted by UBA. They don't get candidate from any contractor. |
Jimmyubah2:No mind some people.. if a bank is strong, it should reflect on the amount it pays its staff... Am not sure Eco pays its contract staff up to 60k per month. Even UBA have join the cue of paying contract staff less than 70k. |
Microwhy:You are still learning. |
