Work on increasing your earnings. That's the root of the problem. Your taste is changing while your income remains constant.

Well, I started with less than 100k for the first 15 month, though there are some allowance I do get during the month that when u sum it with my salary, it could reach 100k, though at times, it doesn't come at all. Later on, the salary was reviewed to 100k with no allowance and am optimistic that by June next year, it could be reviewed to 125-130k

Guy, yu tried, but yu shouldn't have changed to a 250k apartment except if it reduces your spendings on transportation and some other things because by now yu just increased ur rent from 280k/yr to 400k/yr, ur parents inclusive.

Hold up... First and foremost, by using the phrase "village people" in my post is more of sarcasm. Secondly, my salary isn't my only source of income. Am just worried that after 3years of hard work, the direct savings from my salary is just 400k. And from the other source of income, I have a target not to touch it till after some years.

Good day guys. I am just so confused....

Three years back, I got a job where the pay is around 100k/month. The issue now is, three years down the line I have only been able to save 400k. So in essence, out of about 40 months of receiving salary, I have only been able to save only 4months. Though I start work in a state different from where I base, so I had to rent a house. My house rent is around 130k/yr and in addition, I pay that of my parent wch is around 150k/yr with a monthly stipend of 5k; excluding any other emergency.

Just this month, I decided to upgrade to a bigger apartment and I paid a rent of 250k. Now all that is left in my account is 400k.

Am I a poor manager of funds or is it that "my village people" are following me and pilfering my money.


I am just so confused. Working for three years and boosting of only 400k

Just ask yourself this question, why is it that our military are always on the defensive side in this war. How often times have you had that we went offensive in this war? Where are the Boko Haram militias hiding? How come ethat the can gather and move in covoy from their base into borno town, attack their targets for about an hour and still retreat back to their base without been traced? Or are we fighting desert spirits.

This war, a lot of top men don't want it to end.

This country don tire person.

One thing I don't understand is, how can we have bandits attacking a village for more than an hour and there will be no response from security agents. Worst of it, the bandits will finish their operation and retreat back to their base and our security agents can't track them. What kinda security personnel do we have in this country.

This is not a Dangote problem, is a Nigerian problem.
Truth be told, so many drivers plying our roads will be banned from touching the steering of any vehicle in America.

Many Nigerian drivers are on drugs, drink and drive and drive carelessly majority of the time.
Nigeria is not a nation of consequences, as long as our people know that the can get away with killing people on our highways by paying a few thousands to the family of the deceased, get away with drinking and driving by bribing Road safety or Police, etc, this acts will keep on happening

Seriously, Nigerian drivers are hazards on our road. No sense of humanity in all of them. Just hit the highway in Nigeria and see drivers driving as if accidents don't exits.

To know how useless our drivers are, on the highway that is single lane... You will see a lot of them overtaking heavy trucks on serious bends. How on Earth will they see the upcoming vehicle.

Hope this will not turn out to breed religion violence in the state like kaduna state.
