This was an interview done on Top sport on Top Radio yesterday. It was a friendly chat. Why is Punch claiming it? Plus what’s the motive of the story with that headline because more pertinent things were discussed?

Unserious policy from the govt. There’s unofficial behind the scenes recruitment going on as we speak in about half of the MDAs. Why do we keep deceiving ourselves.

This is another politically motivated policy rather than economic. It’s so obvious

PoliticsRe: Nigerians: Quick To Forget! by Richardjcooper(m): 10:12pm On Oct 05, 2021
Absolutely spot on. Nigerians are not students of history. They live in the euphoria of utopia when in truth, it is obvious the country has been programmed to fail. My mom told me about the Buhari military regime and not a good thing was said. Confirmed her words from my own research and I was shocked to see people canvassing support for the clueless general. It is a sad thing to note that all those immortalized on our currency are truly villains rather than heros.

Big question of the day: Do I really know my history?

For those that have written their tests, did you get your score immediately or something that suggested you did it. I ran down my time and was unable to submit and it’s telling me “either token has expired or invalid or your test is in the future”
CareerRe: Which Is Best, Architecture Or Civil Engineering by Richardjcooper(m): 10:10am On Jul 09, 2021
Oggolden001:
please sir i really need a break down to all of this. Are you saying a civil eng can design any structure? Nd again i knw u're experienced pls, is civil engineering maths really hard? Like HARD. Becuz i'm an average maths student who can cope wit phys nd chem. Pls advice
Civil engineers are not designers. They don’t design anything. They build. An architect can design bridges even though he has to work with a structural engineer during the design process to make the design functional. No good architect will allow a structural engineer change his design. That’s why architects are taught at least the basic principles of structures in school. In developed countries, specialized architects design cars.

Civil engineers can design based on experience of building construction even though this is not their job. In Nigeria, as the contractor, there’s more money to be made in the construction phase than the design phase.

As you can read from different comments above, there’s an overlay of duties by these two professions. But standard practice is an architect is a designer while a civil engineer is a builder. So most likely a civil engineer can design a functional duplex and nothing more, an architect can do structural detailing for a duplex and nothing more. Both are pretty specialized fields.

I studied architecture because it was hard and I was academically sound plus I didn’t want to read. I got it all wrong. This is 2021, don’t be caught up in this trap. Find a less competitive and stressful course especially if you want to partake in extra curricular activity in school. Doesn’t have to be the conventional courses everyone is doing. Don’t waste 4/5 years in school only to finish school and start looking for where you can learn a skill to survive. Study a course that gives you that flexibility

Oga once you are a project manager it does not mean what your discipline is....Anybody can be the head regardless of what profession you study....Its all about business and profit making for the organization.
I said standard practice. Please always read in context

You are the one misleading the guy....the contractor or construction company is incharge of paying everyone....
The architect can not achieve his objectives without the structural engineer if not all his designs will be modified on site as construction proceeds
An architect is the head of a design team. He can also act as the project manager or the contractor. This is standard practice. But this is Nigeria
CareerRe: Which Is Best, Architecture Or Civil Engineering by Richardjcooper(m): 10:17pm On Jul 08, 2021
I’m an architect and I will tell you for a fact that architecture in Nigeria is getting useless. Same with most professional courses. The stress and money spent in school is in no way equivalent to the rewards or benefit. If you’re studying architecture, it should solely be out of passion Cos that might be the only thing keeping you going.

On which course is better to study, traditionally, both courses are good. If you like to delve more into construction and structural detailing, pls go for civil engineering. If you want your core to be designing, architecture best suits you.

Don’t get deceived, there are a lot architects and poor engineers. Don’t be deceive that you can work on your own in this industry. It’s possible but you have to pay your dues. All in all, in Nigeria you’ll need God and connection.

My advice, study a course you have passion in and wouldn’t stress you. It doesn’t necessarily have to be any the above two.

Ideadoctor:
there are two things involved, it either you really look alike with the person been discussed or the person who mistook you had a pre encounter with you in a dream.

One of the unexplainable mystery of the world is preencountering, you sleep then as the day dawn, all activities of the day would be revealed to you in a quick dream, but when you wake up you forget everything, but as you continued in the days activity you see flash of the dream and of the activities, then it will be as if you have seen what you are doing before, but you will never be able have a full detail of the dream.

Another factor maybe reincarnation, I will explain that later.
Pls explain the reincarnation

WHY DO SOME PEOPLE SEE WHO HAD RECENTLY DIED?

There are many answers to this question.

DEMONS ARE PLAYING TRICKS

No matter how people denies the existence of demons, the unbelievable truth is that they exist and live among us but in different dimensional boundaries.
Only he who had experienced their manifestation would testify to their existence, or people who would humbly believe, but to a skeptical, rational, questioning mind, they are fairy tales.

The problem of skeptics lies in the fact that they subject all things to reason, they ask questions and if these questions cannot be answered then it is not worthy of been believed.
But the truth is that our reasoning is limited, it cannot comprehend the vast and deep mystery of this world, but faith does, Faith expose us to the greater realities that reasoning cannot see, because faith does not seek proof but nevertheless valid.

So for anyone who wants to understand, let him have faith as I proceed in my explanation ( questions can be asked if answers are needed).
Nice post. Quick question! What’s the implication (spiritual or otherwise) of people confusing you with another person? They are so convinced it’s you they saw some days ago at a distant location and you have never met them. And this happens frequently. It’s like there’s a body double in numerous locations

Stay strong for your mom. Encourage her and give her hope. Also advice her to leave the abusive relationship. Don’t force her but pressure her. Some of our old folks can’t take the right decision and it is our duty to guide them.

Lodge a complaint at the nearest police station.
Your phone and other things may be use to perpetrate fraud.
Get a. Phone Call your bank customer care to block your account if that SIM is linked to your account.

Quickly look for emergency lock code of your bank.

Then you can search that area for the bag later.
I’ve stopped the accounts from debit transactions. On my way to the police station. Can police track phone ASAP?

wel i thinkk with my little knowledge in architecture, you will have to rearrange this whole design.

No circulation in the main lounge.. someone talking about no lighting in the design i think glass block can easily solve that problem but pls make sure you do all the correction in the design before you go further because the functionality of the design is not really ok
Very apt

Roadside architect or a professional architect? Everyone claims professional these days even bricklayers
This one is worse than roadside. An experienced draughtsman or a student architect wouldn’t do such. This is an eye sore. There’s nothing that can be amended in this ‘design’. It will just give one headache. Arrangement and modular coordination is so so bad. Op if it’s possible collect your half payment from the guy.
