I understand it's quite expensive, but atleast you're paying for the due diligence in getting you a staff wey nor be wereh in disguise.

While we don't know how he got the services of the driver, but atleast, the agency has a reputation at stake and are potentially liable legally for a staff they assign....if said staff does something bad.

No fee is too big for getting good hands that you'll literally put your life in.
Justice Ajumogobia’s daughter who was killed in Lagos was killed by staff gotten from Staff agency, so it is not by that one

ytdivine:
Please @Emmasoft, and other financial experts, what are the risks involved in Commercial paper? Is it at low risk level as MMF? What happened if the company or organization involved got into problems and could not pay back?
Why is Pension fund managers restricted from investing in CP?
Commercial Paper (CP) is generally considered a low-risk, short-term debt instrument, but it is not as low-risk as a Money Market Fund (MMF). Here’s a clear breakdown:

1. Risk Level (CP vs MMF)
CP is issued directly by companies and is unsecured (no collateral). Its safety depends heavily on the issuer’s creditworthiness.
MMFs, on the other hand, are diversified pools of instruments (including CP, T-bills, deposits), which spreads risk.
So, CP = higher risk than MMF, even though both are relatively low-risk compared to equities.

2. What happens if the issuer has problems?
If the company runs into financial distress:

There is no collateral to fall back on
Investors may face delayed payment or default
Recovery can be partial or zero depending on restructuring or liquidation outcome
Unlike bank deposits, CP is not insured

In short: you are exposed to credit risk directly.

3. Key Risks in Commercial Paper

Credit risk: issuer may default
Liquidity risk: may be hard to sell before maturity
Rollover risk: issuer may struggle to refinance maturing CP
Market confidence risk: bad news can quickly reduce value

4. Why Pension Fund Managers are restricted
Pension funds are governed by strict regulations (e.g., by National Pension Commission in Nigeria) because they manage retirement savings, which must be highly protected.

Restrictions exist because:

CP is unsecured and more sensitive to issuer failure
Pension funds prioritize capital preservation over yield
Regulations limit exposure to instruments with higher default probability
To avoid systemic risk to retirees’ funds

Essentially, regulators want pension funds to stay in safer, highly-rated, and more liquid instruments.

Commercial Paper (CP) has actually failed in Nigeria before, although it is not very common because issuance is restricted to relatively strong companies.

1. Real Example of CP Default in Nigeria
A notable recent case:

O3 Capital (Nigeria) defaulted on a ₦750 million commercial paper issued in July 2023, which matured in October 2023. ()

This is a clear, real-life example that CP is not risk-free, even in Nigeria.

HealthRe: How Did My Wife Have Staph? by richforever123: 10:12pm On Mar 02
Fuckallmods:
Imagine!
My wife has staphylococcus but still denies me sex??

Oh I was good man! I admit today. But good men are foolish when it comes to being good to women.

We’ve been married for roughly 11 months now, you know the kind of Christian marriage where you don’t test your products’ output before purchase.
Before marriage, we did the important medical tests like hiv, genotype, blood group, etc.

One thing I observed about my wife is I always have to initiate sex; but 7 of 10 times she denies me sex, before and after marriage. We’ve been together for 3+ years now.

Recently I observed skin breaking in her vaginal area while we were bathing together, so I asked her to do an std/uti test. She did the test and result came out with staph positive.

I was really pissed, because I don’t sleep around. Her response was that she got it from public toilet… I didn’t even argue. At this point I was just thinking of myself.

I did mine, (swab, urine and blood ) and it came out negative.

All these happened while she was denying me sex as her husband, all because I was being good to her and giving her every attention she needs.

It turns out women don’t value men that are good to them, or who plays and offer them attention. This is so because I’m focusing on my friends and giving them more attention than her now, and I’m noticing changes.

Currently I’m not drawn to her emotionally anymore, not because she has uti, but because she will deny me sex for no reason… and she know how much I fear adultery
She’s my wife, when sex comes I take it. If it doesn’t, I have my friends to chill with.
Even if I cheat now, I won’t feel remorse
Even if I impregnate another woman outside now, I won’t feel guilty.

I want her family to perceive me as a bad person now… maybe this is the kind of man I am, maybe this is the kind of man their daughter has forced me to become… but I won’t be a slave to any woman because of sex.

I know y’all must be asking why I’m sharing this information now… I’m sharing because before marriage, I expected unlimited intimacy, I expected love. And just like some of you reading this my post, you’ll be feeing the-same, maybe yours will be different from mine.

Women always want to control situations… she expected a man she could control with sex, not knowing there’s unlimited sex out there, even before I decided to get married. I was the fool, I was the good man, and just like everybody else, you will regret why you’re good to women.
Hey, I hear you, and I need to be blunt because I’ve been through a similar situation, my girlfriend died from a staph infection that spread to her heart, so I know how serious this can be. Staph can be sexually transmitted, yes, but it can also happen through other ways like minor skin injuries, hygiene issues, or public toilets. So don’t assume this automatically means infidelity.

Now, about the marriage and intimacy part: the fact that you never had regular sex before marriage is huge. It usually signals that she may not find you sexually attractive and may have married you for comfort, security, or stability, rather than passion. Post-marriage, the sex reducing or being denied consistently is a pattern that rarely changes. You need to swallow the hard truth: she does not desire you, and no amount of “being good” can manufacture sexual attraction. You need to understand that women do not reason logically like men, a man will feel that being good and compassionate will get you sex, that is further from the truth, it will get you the opposite, a woman know who she is sexually attracted to the first 5 mins of meeting a man and if the chemistry is not there no amount of being nice will change that, you made a BIG mistake marrying and if you want to get result you have to change it for her

Honestly, if she meets a man she’s genuinely attracted to, you’d probably be shocked how fast she’d give him what she’s denying you. As painful as it sounds, you’re wasting your time and emotional energy with a woman who isn’t sexually invested in you. Recognize it, accept it, and decide what you truly want, because staying in this cycle will only hurt you more.

I am talking from experience, as someone who has dated many women. There are women you just need to walk away from, go and find the woman that has burning desire for you

I have a Bona inverter freezer (105w) which I bought in 2023. It freezes fast and takes long to defreeze. I have a solar set up which powers it for at least 12 hours daily. There are times I wish to empty and clean the freezer and I have to wait for five days for it to defreeze . The problem is that the market is being flooded with fake or substandard solar freezers but if you get the original one, you will really enjoy it. Though very expensive, I think it's worth having.
It is not worth having, once it spoils there is no one who can fix it, no parts available in Nigeria, even the people who sell cannot fix it

"Settle for less ? Never! I built my own house, own properties, and plan to get a car soon. I'm also investing in myself. I'm not going to settle for a woman who's broke sha. Later on her broke families will be viewing me as their financial breakthrough. Godforbid!
I just wanted to share something I believe is important when it comes to choosing a woman to build a life with — especially if you're a man who already has his finances in order.

It’s great if a woman has money, ambition, or success. That shows drive and responsibility. But those qualities alone shouldn't be the foundation for choosing her as a partner. A lot of women who’ve made significant financial strides tend to operate with more masculine energy and that often shows up in how they communicate, make decisions, or handle disagreements. They're usually more assertive, more independent, and often more argumentative not in a bad way, but in a way that can create friction if you’re naturally looking for peace and balance at home.

The truth is, most women don’t make money with the idea of sharing it with a man, not the way men often do. A man typically sees his resources as something to provide for his partner and children. Many women, even high earners, still expect a man to lead and provide, and rarely flip that dynamic.

That’s why I think it’s wiser to prioritize feminine traits when choosing a life partner. Look for someone nurturing, respectful, and kind. A woman who can bring peace into your life who cooks, keeps a good home, supports you emotionally, and cares for the children. These qualities go a much longer way in building a fulfilling and lasting relationship than just income or status.

Money fades, careers change, but a woman’s character and feminine energy will shape your everyday reality. Choose someone who adds to your life beyond the financial side someone whose strength lies in her softness, not in competing with you.

Just my thoughts, bro. Choose wisely.

Right from time I have always been a user, care less about people but myself and whenever I get into trouble I always expect others to help me out and I do get into trouble and they certainly will. As soon as I get what I want. I seem to forget about all their good deeds until I get into another trouble or needs a help out.

Now that I'm an adult it's gotten more worst, I find myself doing stuffs just to satisfy my own pleasures, my own selfish gains but something happened yesterday that no one I know was able to help me out.

I was angry at first then I came to my senses those people I called I haven't even done one bit of favour for them but they have for me several times.

It dawned on me that I am a user who rely on people to help me out all the time.I hate this character and i want to change for good.

It says right there on their website that they are offering 35%. Perhaps they'll offer that next week, next month, next year, whatever. It's a claim they are making. I didn't make that claim. Your logging in and seeing what they offer presently doesn't change the fact that they are making that claim. And come to think of it, how did you expect me to login into a website I'll never be a part of....ever? Perhaps you should be asking them how they can justify their claim of 35% in a Nigerian economy where inflation is a near daily occurrence? Of course, they can't defend that, but they'll leave the 35% on their site, just so they can attract more gullible customers like you who are looking to more than x0.5 their money in two years without doing any real work or research.
They can never offer that on regular investments as it is unrealistic, it may come in maybe a real estate, but for 2 years I have never seen such rates on the platform, it obviously an advertisement. secondly I am not a customer, I just like to speak with facts, and the fact is all their investment rates follow economic realities of Nigeria, I know you want them down so badly, but the world doesn't work based on your feelings

There you go!

And don't tell me you are naive enough to believe Nigeria's SEC has never registered failed or fradulent entities as fund or portfolio managers. The corruption and decadence in the country is enough to let fraud through.
The only fund manager that collapsed while registered under SEC is Mega Asset Managers Limited and it was SEC that freezed their assets and compensated clients, they were not even fund managers, but stock brokers

The SEC expects registered entities to submit the following:

Audited financial statements (usually annually)

Quarterly financial reports

Compliance reports

Risk management and internal control reports

Details of assets under management (AUM) for fund managers

Disclosure of material changes in business operations

Know Your Customer (KYC)/Anti-Money Laundering (AML) compliance documentation

So it very difficult to collapse under the supervision of SEC

Any financial institution can make bad investment decisions without it reflecting immediately on the current customers. As I mentioned in my earlier post, it only becomes apparent when many customers decide to withdraw their investments at the same time. If Piggyvest could invest in those scammy farm investments like Agropartnerships without doing enough due diligence to be sure that they were safe investments, then how many more bad investment choices have they made without your knowing? We only knew about Agropartnerships when it became public news. Had it not become public news, we would never have known. How many more bad decisions have been succesfully cached or are currently ongoing? You should be much wiser than this. The fact that they are still standing is no indication that they are not making bad investment choices.

25% is very far from the "real" return on investment in Nigeria. The Nigerian market is highly volatile and unpredictable. In addition, inflation erodes real returns, and we haven;t even mentioned the fickle policy changes that can immediately affect market dynamics. If 25% were so easy to achieve without real consequences of loss, then Agropartnerships and Farmcrowdy that were offering 25% at some point would have simply gone to invest in what Piggyvest is investing in. You can argue all you want, but even commerical banks that lend at over 30% interest will never offer their own customers more than 10%. But of course, if greed is your friend, why go to First bank, as opposed to a virtual Piggyvest that doesn't release any books to customers.

Yes, Ponzi scheme companies and online wallets are different. But Piggyvest is not just an online wallet. It's an investment platform. The major problem with it is that you and I do not know what they invest it. You don't know, I don't know. But you trust them enough to give them your money, while you are satisfied with the numbers they input for you to see on your so-called wallet.

It's quite convenient that you ignored the fact that they are not insured by the NDIC. Keep giving them your money. We'll see who will have the last laugh.
Please can you point which of their investment gives 25%, just a screenshot will suffice

Also, are you aware they are registered under SEC as fund managers?

The only issue I have with PIGGYVEST is they are not subject to the same cash stress the CBN subjects other banks too

Recently M and S was hacked and they lost 300 million pounds and that’s a uk company with bigger cyber security engineers than any African stert up

Sometimes as a company becomes bigger it either needs to become a PLC or simply get a banking license just like all the other banks in the uk

I see no
Reason why fair money Cowrywise and PIGGYVEST can’t merge together and be the biggest online savings platform
Even bigger than some
Nigerian traditional banks

Also in as much as PIGGYVEST are legit most of thier investments are in naira and naira is always stuttering and suffering

Also since PIGGYVEST started thier public accounts
Of how
Profitable and thier balance sheet has never been made publicly

So honestly I would thread carefully

Yes thier UI and app is beautiful

God knows why zenith banks and other banks can’t offer savings platforms like that too
Zenith Bank cannot offer such interest because they are banks and not fund manager, you should comparing to SFS Fund, GT Fund Manager, Treasury Bills, who all offer the same interest rates

Probability does not work in court. Certainty does.

Most cases are ruined by the police themselves in the matter they do their investigation.

An average lawyer assigned to them pro bono should be able to litigate the case smartly.

Some many lacunas to explore are so visible in the case.
The 3 Staff were changed at an instant so they are probably from the same recruitment agency, and I don't think they have enough money to hire good lawyers, there is picture evidence that tried to clean up the crime scene, anyone who tries to clean up a crime scene is close to you, a stranger criminal is not going to bother to carry rag and start cleaning the crime scene, then there is a confessional statement that matches with the evidence found, the police that handled this case, the judge and jury are not fools, they are going to jail

You were ONLY relying on the prosecution team to make your assertions.

The defence team will have their days in court.

Law is about evidences and how the police conducted their investigation. The police might have even contaminated the scene of crime.

This case is far from being conclusive.

I repeat the burden of proof lies with the prosecution and it must be beyond REASONABLE doubt.

Let me first ask you - is it REASONABLE for 3 total strangers to hatch a crime of this magnitude within a week of knowing themselves?

The defence only needs to introduce one REASONABLE doubt into the case and the case is dismissed.

In another perspective, too much torture can make a person says na him killed Jesus and Mohammed together.

How was the investigation conducted?

Which methods were used?

Was there any form of torture?

Was the confession made under duress?

All these would be argued in court. It’s not an open-close case yet.

The burden of proof lies with the prosecution team.

Let the case gets to court and let the prosecutor presents his case for the Government.

As for me, they are still innocent till found guilty by the court.
Of course, they are still innocent until proven but where were they when someone killed her in her room, dragged her outside the gate without the security man noticing, dropped her there, and then went back to meticulously clean the blood but missed some spots, it is obvious they planted her body outside to make people think she was killed outside and they know nothing about it, and the domestic staff needed corporation to pull it off, some criminals are delusional and think they are so smart until they have wasted life and found out that it is not easy to kill someone and get away with it, they believe what happens in films happen in real life, degenerates just killed a Doctor because of property not worth more than 5 million

Solution101:
Is there any possibility of the uneventful event of HERITAGE BANK befall any of the MMF MANAGERS ?

If yes will NDIC 5M benchmark apply too and if No how will redemption of fund happen.?
Highly unlikely, MMF do not loan out money, they are not high risk and they are monitored by the SEC, some MMF hold up to 150 Billion Naira, and even some banks keep money with them as a safe haven, unless in the event of War
