Hello House,

I am not new here, having invested during the treasury bill days of 18%, I can say I have benefited from this thread but now I need some advice.
I just got a job in Poland and the work permit has been sent to me, as a software engineer I have dreamt of getting a second leg in a country in Europe and now this happened (a dream came through)

But then, the salary is small compared to what I am currently earning as a remote engineer.
Since it has always been my dream I have decided to give it a shot , get the PR and probably come back to Nigeria and now the thought of getting a house before leaving sets in. The total cash I have is 97m aside the investment in shares which is around 10m and also the pension worth 8m I don't have any other property even a car.

Therefore I have been in the lookout for a house in Lagos but those that meets my standard are between 50-60 million.

Please experts in the house, is it a smart decision to spend such amount of money in property at this point.
Hello, I am also a Software Engineer

I don't think it is wise going for a Job in Poland with a much lower salary you are getting from your remote job, first of all the cost of living in Poland is much higher and you will be getting a much lower salary, what's the catch there, even people in America are looking for remote work that can allow them live anywhere in the world, they just travel with a country with good security, electricity with a good cost of living

Please rethink your decision, you will loose you the freedom and buying power
PetsRe: Dogs Seems To Have Multiple Boil On Scrotum Area by richforever123(op): 10:49am On Jan 21, 2023
Oluwafreshing:
It's not boil. Your pooch has the bot fly infestation.

Those "boils" are actually the larva of the fly.

Ensure your dog takes regular baths, keep it away from sand, beach sand, moist areas (like under cars)
Thanks for your response, here is what I did

I put vaseline at the tip of the boil, this suffocated the bot Fly and made it come out for air, I then pressed the bottom of the skin below the infection and used a spatula to pull the Bot Fly out, then rubbed spirit on the wound to prevent any further infection

I think the regulators are not interested in regulating crypto now. They are only interested in the tax n leave crypto like the wild wild west.
It's deliberate attempt to keep it at trash
The regulators want crypto to be regulated, but crypto does not want to be regulated because crypto was built to abstain from Government intervention, the best step to go now is Defi, that way everything is transparent and decisions are made via DAO

So what you're telling people is to dump their coin over fiat at the least chance na. With people like you sorry to say the world will always remain stagnant. With people like you the internet and cell phones would have ceased to exist after several tries.

Thanks to people like us that exist and will always follow through to the end. Dont compare this coin to those coins that depended soley on exchanges to breath . This project has never been a pump and dump and it will never be.

It was never about money but legacy. The owner of pi was the lecturer of the owner of etherum. So you should know what angle this project is coming from. These people put their lives into this projects and thier projects are still alive , compared to these other useless coins you mentioned that was just about the pump and grab. Please slide away with your theory respectfully .
What he trying to say is that until the crypto market is regulated do not put your trust in one project, because of lack of regulation and enforcement greedy devs can decide to Rug a project anytime, he also did not say you should abstain from crypto, he says you can make money from crypto but do not be caught holding the bag

Simple. They had a targeted figure and once they achieved it, kiss your money goodbye. Same will happen to the rest.
The reason Crowdyvest went down was

1. They were primarily focused on Agric Tech, which has proven to be unsustainable in Nigeria
2. They had a large exposure to Agropartnership

Piggyvest also had exposure to Agropartnership but where able to cover it up

binance hold like 75% of market liquidity, once it fold crypt0 is dead and everything will bite the dust
People moving away from Binance does not mean they are leaving crypto, some are transferring to hard and soft wallets, it will only be the end of CEX and the beginning of DEX, because a lot of Decentralized platforms will pop up to fill the space left by CEX

does that mean there’s possibility that it can happen to Naira issued bonds in Nigeria grin
Yes, there is a possibility, but with vision, you will be able to spot it before we get there, Ghana was offering interest rates as high as 18% before, our reserves have dwindled to 38 billion dollars in the last year, you can use all the metrics to judge

This is a reminder to all sovereign bond holders. Even governments can default and you may lose money.
In this case, both Eurobond and local-issued Cedis bonds were affected.
I read the article, it never said local-issued Cedis bonds were affected, worst case the Government can print more cedis to pay back, but they cannot print International Currencies

Was MBA Forex a legitimate forex investment platform/structure? MBA forex partnered with which forex broker? Which government regulatory body regulated the broker?

Every body where here in this forum when we were warning about the scam MBA forex running a ponzi scheme and using forex as a front. We were threatened by investors in the scheme, the mode was even paid to ban our official moniker for 30 years, which was our domain name, and we had no other option than to deactivate the moniker.

Search for the moniker Fxmanager, go through our topics and post and you will see our efforts to educate investors in these forum and to expose all these ponzi schemes, even to the detriment of our life and business, and yet still, most investors in this forum refused to listen until they were scammed of this funds.

Always ask questions before you tag anybody a scammer. Investors being blinded by the returns from these ponzi schemes made them to refuse to asked the necessary questions nor to adhere to our warnings in this forum.

We challenge you to visit our websites, go through it and come back to this forum/thread to expose any loophole in place meant to scam investors of their funds.

Some investors in this forum are too lazy to do their background research on an investment, be it online or offline. We have repeatedly adviced in this that you can only invest in an investment structure/platform, if it is a government licensed and regulated investment or partnering with a government licensed and regulated broker, with proof of their licensed status in the legitimate government regulatory body's website/database. The internet is there for any information that you want regarding any investment, despite its presence, you still need to be guided on how to go about getting this information, and also differentiating between the real and fake information about an investment out there, especially online investment.

Once again, go through our websites and educate yourself on how a legitimate and secured forex investment platform in structured to secure/protect investors funds.

We have the most secured investment platform in this forum ready to generate an above average returns for investors in this forum. We have over 14 years forex trading experience, and also online investment to be able to guide investors on the right online investment platform to invest their funds.

Your wife get sense pass you. Her decision not to go to the pastor for nonsense deliverance was superb. I suggest you change your mentality from its current state. People lose their means of livelihoods everyday. The smart ones go about looking for other means to survive but the foolish ones go about looking for solutions in prayer and spiritual houses. Tell your wife I say well done for not following you about to prayer houses like mumu.
We have smart people on this forum

I love your patriotic optimism, but there's only a handful of sectors today that thinking local would work for, because we are an import dependent nation.

We don talk am for here before, prioritize USD but una no they hear. You can't be more patriotic than the government, the FGN holds dollars, delegates collect their settlement in dollars, even banks they give customers money to receive dollars to their account.

Instead of hating the dollar, see yourself as a global citizen. Flights of just $1k go soon be 1m naira. But it's easier for me see the cost as $1k than 1m naira.

We are investors and we should be able to maximize our returns within ethical parameters. USD instruments fit nicely into that, I don't get why it's detested so much on this forum.
When Dollar was 850 to a Naira, everyone became an economic analyst, telling people to invest in Dollars, now the Dollar is back to 700 everyone is quiet now

I agree that there are bigger problems but which of us on this forum can solve that problem? Even the entire EU is facing weakening currency against the dollar. So na by investing 1m in tbills go solve the problems?

You guys on this forum always want to misconstrue my point.

Step 1.
Anyone that has a discretionary income of 500k can already start investing in USD even from today. I started buying AAPL shares when dollar was 320 to a dollar. With 500k discretionary, that was about $1562, today it can only get $588.

Step 2.
Have dollar income. Learn a skill if you're young, you will be paid global rates from Nigeria. E.g software development, product design, project management, writing e.t c

Step 3
Get dividends from your USD investment. Nothing sweet like earning a strong currency passively.
I must say, these are great point, but note that I never said investing in Treasury Bills was the solution

How una they always talk this kind thing with confidence na??

See an example and tell me how the gains is useless.

Mr Local and Mr Global have a kid in Covenant university with school fees 1m per session.

Mr Global
Year 2021: He bought $2000 with the 1m
Year 2022: He only has to convert $1200 to pay the fees and has $800 kept.

Mr Local
Year 2021: He invested the 1m in tbills
Year 2022: He now has 1.08m. He pays 1m fees and has 80k saved.
What you are saying is wise and I have implemented such, but I won't come here celebrating an economical degradation, because if we reach the way of lebanon what you explained will happen but at a much greater loss

If you live in Nigeria you will still convert that dollar to buy things at an exorbitant rate, if you work in Nigeria, the future income you make will be worthless, this is short-term gratification for bigger problems, the problem with Nigeria is Nigerians from the Richest to the Peasant, we are all the same thing
