How did IMG raise such huge funds and yet they are not popular on the social media?
It amazes me, I have never heard of them till today, let's see how the situation unfold

It is a fake news bros. Piggyvest didn't invest in that scheme.
The person that shared the news on twitter has deleted it and I think has been charged to court for Defamation. He claimed he worked for a competitor so it is case of mudsliggging. Make una dey cool down
The person that originally shared it on Instagram still has it on her status, she even had an interaction with the CEO of Piggyvest and shared it also her username is __trapselena_ you can check her out

Funds are invested in bonds, Treasury Bills, money market funds, fixed income and yet returns are higher than what those assets are producing.

They have Investments in money lending firms, that is how they can give such superior returns

"THEY"?

Who were investigating and how were they investigating?

EFCC or CBN??
The people who had their money invested, people have access to this information, they are trying to track them down, the last transaction they did was the purchase of uniforms for their children in UK

I joined the Telegram Group for Farmsponsor aggrieved investors, not because I invested, but because I wanted to see how to go about the recovery, this is Nigeria, a single person can place a PND on your account, bankers who have also lost funds provide access to this information, generally, the people do not have trust in EFCC or CBN any longer, all they do is freeze the account for years and extort the people

I don't know if EFCC is involved yet, but I can tell you that people in very high places invested and they are trying to track them down and they are using the money trail to do it

My issue is not them investing with IMG, but if they are going to invest a small percentage of the funds in money lending service, let them be straight forward like Branch is, that's a red flag

They allow you to invest in these companies and many more that are not shown in the screenshot

And it's wise for you to believe a certain whatsapp status than from the horse's mouth?
They were investigating IMG and they saw the transaction, they have no reason to lie, they saw all the transactions that were made, including that of a popular church, they have no reason to lie, however, you can believe what you want, I will go for proper investment houses that are properly monitored

As emmanuelewumi will say return of investment is better than returns on investment

omotola90:
my brother, they are not sec licensed or cbn licenced ooo
There are claims that Piggyvest actually invested 2 Billion Naira in IMG, Piggyvest holds funds of over 70 Billion Naira, so it won't affect them that much, if look at the chat closely between the CEO and the Lady, the CEO never refuted the fact that he invested, he only claimed that they enforce risk mitigation strategies and that investors funds are safe, HE NEVER REFUTED THE FACT THAT THEY INVESTED

Also, IMG account was under scrutiny and that's where they saw that Piggyvest sent 2 Billion Naira to the account because it was no paid in cash but electronically

Piggyvest does not work like your traditional Mutual Fund, you can never know what happens behind the scene, there is no regulatory body that enforces them to show their books or follow some due process

Cowryrise is different, Cowryrise only serves as a proxy to invest in regulated Mutual Funds like Meristem, ARM etc although they have other packages too

I want to move my money away from Fintech into a proper mutual fund, can anyone suggest a good Mutual Fund and what I should look out for the Fact Sheets, because these FIntechs do not have Fact Sheets, Custodians and all that

I hate dummies.

When you start taking peoples opinion as financial advice, then you certainly have a lot of work to do upstairs - Maybe a brain surgery or something.
Hello, this is the comment you made "and you want people to risk their hard earned money based on your 'opinion' alone?
provide a more cogent justification, bikonu"

He never asked people to risk their hard-earned money or invest, he was just stating his personal experience and opinion, you clearly misundertood him

The last statement is totally wrong, I know some people here who were insulted for warning against Ponzi Schemes, they where called haters and fools, Nigerians are funny characters

Please get ur facts right. China did not ban bitcoin, recently it banned bitcoin mining in some locations.
Okay, at least you understand the point, there is no way bitcoin can vanish, it is decentralize no Government can ban it

Export deficit is d main issue and not the other way round, it is the reason CBN deviced parallel markets in the first place as a way to ease pressure on our reserves while allowing essential users access to cheaper rates. But, like most things in Nija, it is subject to exploitation.

I want to point out that, unlike dollars that have d full backing of d USA economy cryptos don't, they are purely speculative instruments. If USA or some other influential country decide to block bitcoin, maybe because terrorist use it or some other reasons, ur cryptos will go to zero or close to zero so fast u wouldn't be able to pull out ur money.

Bitcoin is decentralized no Government can block, has China not blocked yet it is still pegging at 50,000 now

It is not for everyone sha. But, with the right knowledge someone can get in at bottom or close to bottom and make it out with decent returns, then wait for d next bonanza when ever that might be.

How do you all relate to account officers please?

Mine for Gtb is female and one for Access is male.

At times, she helps with some stuff within her line of duty.

The last time I did tbills was towards month ending.
I did it from a different state branch cos I travelled. They still sent the instructions to her. She called and started "crying" that I was moving funds. She said it would give her negative rating.

I promised her some funds would still come before the 30th of the month.

Same with the guy at Access.

I don't like them knowing about what I intend doing especially moving funds cos they would start "crying" about moving funds.

Note that I had left all these funds fallow during low tbills rate, coupled with the fact that I was expecting a deal then.

NOW, these people see you have some money in your account. (Not all ve my money o. Family biz money, a kind of huge but in my personal account.)

AT TIMES, I FEEL LIKE GIVING THEM sth, but I don't know what it would feel like. Or the impression it would create.

At times , I feel like calling them randomly to ask about their welfare. Especially that Gtb own. Na fine gel grin cheesy shocked tongue

How do the ogas here handle this?

Is it good to be jovial, friendly etc with them? Will it lead to abuse?

Note I usually give tips to tellers or customer care reps when they help with my requests. But my account officers are far from my location.

All talks are on phone.

Oya advise me pls cool

Never loose focus and let emotions come into play, you should be very wary of people who know how much you have in your account, this is Nigeria, if you want friends there a millions of other people that can be your friends

You shouldn't be changing the plugs every 2 months. It's abnormal. Find out what's causing the plugs to get soaked and rectify it. Do a car scan.
Thanks for your response,

I will do that, I suspect a leaking Gasket

I have never replace the spark plugs on my IX35 since it was bought in 2013.

You are throwing away good money.

First you are buying fake plugs, you are better off with foreign used spark plugs than that 1k crap. Brand new original would be best.

Sort out the problem causing your plugs to go dark.
Thanks for your response

What do you think maybe causing my spark plugs to go dark, do you think a leaking gasket, when I remove the spark plugs, I see little or no oil on them

Could it be that the N1000 NGK plugs I buy never last generally?

Are you changing it for fun or because a fault pop up that make you change them? I can't even remember the last time I change mine. It over a year now.
I Don't change for fun, I just notice rough idle and hard start, when I then change the spark plugs, everything comes back to normal
Car TalkRe: Maintenance Tips On Cars. by richforever123: 6:30pm On Jun 21, 2021
Good evening House, I change my Spark Plugs every 2 months, I want to know if this is normal, the spark plus I buy are N1,000

I read someplace where people say they change spark plugs every 100,000km

Please guy, be careful of these women

Never lose guard. I repeat, Never lose your guard.

If you have a woman you are just meeting, get to know a little more about her before having sex with her. Sex itself is risky.
Also, only deal with women that you know have something to lose. Never deal with a desperate woman. It's because of this reason my married friend chose his pastor's daughter as his side-chic because he knew she won't mess up as she had something to lose.

Anytime you are about to make a transfer, do not do it in the presence of anyone. Criminals are so smart that from watching your finger pattern, they can guess your 4-digit pin. Be careful.

Don't keep your sidechic totally secret, let your trusted guy know about her. Let her know she is known.

Never take a drink or food from a woman you barely know. If you notice you are feeling dizzy or sleepy after taking a drink, act immediately. Get out of there or call a friend to let you know there is trouble.

Yes Binance has some Stock Token like Tesla, earning 5% on Binance is good but the downside is that any coins stored on Binance is technically not yours, if Binance is hacked your funds may be lost

I want to convert all "our" cash to USD via mallam since their rate is better than banks, do Eurobond and rest from this Naira devaluation wahala...but banks aren't accepting more than $5k cash deposit a month.

Please how else do I go about this sirs/mas? Kindly help
Why not convert to USDT or BUSD via Binance P2P and then transfer it to a Wallet like Trust Wallet or Exodus

Please house members, correct me if I am wrong

Mr Xiao the Uber entrepreneur, between me and you who has more incentives to come here and look for who to steal from? You are a frustrated, depressed and hungry man that had to convert a car you bought with borrowed funds to drive taxi to feed your hungry family.

Isn't it your desperate type that will do anything possible to escape that miserable poverty life where you are at the mercy of Lasma agberos and riders that will give you shitt and you will happily eat?

I advice you again. Learn to be humble and respect those that are better than you in life. Otherwise, it’s a lifetime of poverty and insults from Uber riders that will be your fate. You never see anything yet. Audio Illiterate!

This your looking down on people's hustles is one thing that always tells me how much of a nobody you are.
There are people who have made a living/fortune from uber.
There are mechanics who made a lot of money from the trade.
There are tradesmen/women who became billionaires from trading(I have a very personal example).
There are truck drivers you cannot even stand their successes in a million years.
Etc...
No real man who has been out there and made a name for himself and is succesful looks down on hustles because he himself knows how he/she started and what's in it.
Sounding like the regular kindergarten kid who thinks success comes only when one is seated behind a desk in an air conditioned room,
What a novice!
Some of these guys abuse him/her first, but when he claps back everyone starts crying foul because he goes the extra mile when it comes to insults

He is obviously talking about Risevest, young guys managing investments in dollars, there is a big difference between them and Brisk Investment, any fool will know that Brisk is a Ponzi Scheme, no business in this world can confidently generate 60% monthly, even Forex Traders make losses in some months
