Additionally, a copy of prove of ownership of the car while it was still in your name can be added.

I read earlier that non-vaccinated travelers will no longer need the 3 days mandatory hotel stop over from August 9, 2021.

Unfortunately I have booked for mine last week Tuesday and I read that the payments for my hotel reservation are non-refundable, what do you y’all suggest I do now.

Most Financial Planning courses are for 1yr, so I need a better course for 2yrs that I can relate it to her present career goals. She’s presently a Sales Manager at a mobile industry. More clarity will be appreciated.

If she can relate it with her Economics degree, why not...... Cos admission is one thing, convincing a Visa Officer on her SOP is another thing entirely most especially "Why going for Global Business Management as an Economics Graduate" would be what she would need to explain on her SOP (Very Important), Career Goals/Future prospect of that Program if applied in Nigeria etc.

She can't go for an M.SC with the above CGPA, a PG.Cert in Financial Planning would suffice.

My kid sister graduated with a 2.2 in Economics(B.Sc) i.e 2.28/4.00 gpa.

Someone should help me point out what courses she can take either for PGcert or MSc and what school she can apply to for quick admission (Ontario province preferably).

Your Letter of Introduction (LOI) will be sent to you after your passport has been stamp at VAC Abuja/Lagos, print it and attach it to the email you’ll be sending to school for LOA reconsideration.

Wait for your visa. When you eventually get your visa before fall semester, send an email to your school to reconsider you for fall semester with a proof of TRV approval (I used LOI in this regard). They might just reconsider you and give you a new LOA for fall. This worked for me.

Congrats to all PPR recipients. I am new here and I hope this gets posted.

May applicant: my admission letter was suppose to be fall but before ircc reduced processing time I as scared I won't make fall, so I told the school to give me letter for January 2022 instead (they had not issued for fall then).
Now I think my application may not be treated soon because I am not for fall (or am I overthinking it?) meanwhile when I asked school fora new admission letter for fall they said if I get visa before fall they are willing to consider.

I really wouldn't mind fall resumption,should I still ask school for another letter? Or just hope they treat my file.Eligibility yet to start.

Hello RichieJayy,

This is no issue. Facilitate entry before the expiry of your TRV and get your SP issued. Once inside Canada, with a valid study permit and an expired TRV, you will still legally have resident status.

For international students, the TRV is only to be able to board a flight and facilitate entry into Canada to get the SP issued.

It is only when you intend to travel out of Canada that you will need to apply to renew your TRV to be able to re-enter. As you know, the SP is not a travel document as facilitating entering into Canada with just the SP is based on the sole discretion of the CBSA officer to grant or refuse entry.

Use the regular courier service (dhl. ups, etc) and send your documents two ways, if you do a one way, you might pay 12,570.00 via VFS Buy service to get back your TRV documents..

To your question, two way means times 2 the amount to be paid to courier coy.

Hope you’re doing well. My counterfoil shows that my TRV will expire by January 1, 2022 because my passport will expire by January 31, 2022. And my program will start January 10, 2022 and ends by July 2023, plz what do you suggest I do to get the extensions. I also need the gurus best advice.

How do one deal with about to expired passport? And enrollment for renewed passport is to be collected within 4-6weeks later.

Hi, I learnt that the express center in Maitama, Abuja attends to cases like these. And that you could get it same day. That's why it's called an express center. You can enquire from the immigration officer regarding this.

Hello everyone I couldn’t register for a new passport on time due to the new development of delay in booklet and my passport will expire in January 20, 2022. I was told by a known immigration officer that I can’t apply right now until the end of this month of June due to backlogs that needs urgent attention.

My questions is.....can I use my about to expire passport for my visa and when I get the new one I’ll seek for an extension when I get to Canada?

Ps: I’m going for a 2yrs course.

God is faithful!
My PPR dropped today after 7months of waiting and 7ghost updates.
Submitted on the 8th of October
Biometrics 12th of October
NSE 23rd of November
Review started 4th December
Medicals done on the 7th of January and updated on the 14th of January.

From here I got help on how to send emails to Nairobi office and I did that all through the updating process and I always got a reply.
PPR finally landed 14th May at 1.11am.
