@ifyalways

I nearly rolled on the floor, after reading your post grin. Really the white man's Jesus is so powerful we've lost our identities, am on a research and the things I find are absolutely amazing. I'm tracing all the movement of the yoruba and ibo slaves during the trans-atlantic slavery period and the results am getting are amazing. The yoruba and ibos descedant in brazil, jamaica, cuba and the carribeans held on to their gods and beliefs while we at home has carried Islam and christianity on our head. I think the yoruba descedants held more firmly to their gods and divinities that you still hear, sango <chango>,ogun etc and the rest in those countries today. The white man is a master in making other races feel inferior!

Well I believe in God sha, The first cause, the one before the big-b.ang, the ultimate and all wise Supreme Being!

EducationRe: Is University Of Ibadan Any Better Than Covenant University? by richjohn1(m): 10:51pm On Nov 16, 2011
You guys shouldn't be surprised at the poster, its one of the lies they teach them in their sunday services, their sunday services are always filled with abuses to other schools and institutions teling them they are the best and they are unique. I know the moro.nic poster knows that its not every one one in that school that has a wealthy background many drink garri to survive believe you me! Covenant Uni is a school you cant teach me anything about, sorry to say that school is nothing but a semi-college hyped by expensive structures and beautiful edifice I compare the school to Wole Soyinka's comparison of Obasanjo's library labelling it "korofo ishana" meaning empty match-box  grin

I dont know where to start with in stating the emptiness of that school they are so many I dont know how and where to start from! I finished from a state university but I cant count the number of projects I and my friends did for CU's communication/computer engineering students. The idiot was talking about  connections yet I know some CU's graduates doing some sub-standard jobs many of my state university colleagues wouldnt do! Going to that school to see my babe was a nightmare <after burning fuel and experiencing bad roads> wouldnt love to go into details, I attended many services at the university chapel I couldn't help but laugh at slowpoke.s always believing they are the best <A SERVICE EVERY ONE IS FORCED TO ATTEND>.

Arghh, I dont come from a kerosene background, <CAN'T EVEN REMEBER USING KEROSENE> but I prefer my school 10 times to that glorified secondary school.
Summary your school is not what makes you, its a phase of your life that beats you to shape to face the challenges of the outside world! Only childish people compares schools in my opinion!

Am loving this grin grin grin grin grin grin grin grin

Let the tantrums of anger and exchange of fiery comments borne out of bitter hatred against another continue while the wise and intelligent ones use their brains to benefit from a the big picture called Nigeria. Tribalistic exchanges like this only comes from the pple who don't undrstand that our strength is in our diversity and that people have raked billions from this british experiment called Nigeria. I know of men that cant stand to see Nigeria disintegrate today

Alright, let the shelling and the bombardment continue! Anuofia(s), grin grin grin grin grin grin grin

Christianity EtcRe: Famous Scientists Who Believed In God by richjohn1(m): 5:00am On Sep 29, 2011
I just have few things to state.

1. If you ask me 'what comes to mind before the BIG B.ANG?', I think its God

2. In the beginning God created the heavens and the earth Gen 1:1, doesnt say he created the universe  grin grin

3. IMO the God before the BIG B.ANG isnt the bible God, Nothing points towards that  tongue tongue tongue

4. The OP is right on the fact they(scientists) mentioned believed in God/christian, but want to state clearly THAT their lives weren't based on christian principles their hidden lives were based on serious involvement in occultism this isn't a hidden fact!  shocked  shocked  shocked

5. Believe in evolution doesn't disprove believe in God, IMO evolution makes more sense than those tales in genesis  smiley

6. No RELIGION is superior to the other ALL are based on BASELESS beliefs & insane fanatical actions I REPEAT ALL

And finally everything we believe on this side of the universe is just GUESS work, Full knowledge come on the side of eternity!!!!!
BusinessRe: Born Between 1974 And 1984? You Can Never Be A Billionaire! - Blogger by richjohn1(m): 9:37pm On Sep 24, 2011
Believe me, we all aspire to be great but surely not all will be. THERE ARE THINGS WRITTEN IN STARS THAT CAN'T BE CHANGED!!!!! Every man is born with a star and everyone's (star)destiny is arranged among a cluster of constellation, which determines your time/place of birth, your career, your fate, .your time of death, amongst others Every one has something written concerning him take it or leave it you can't change it.

That blog is correct to a reasonable extent!!!!!!!!
Christianity EtcRe: Voodoo On White People by richjohn1(m): 4:29am On Sep 23, 2011
Malcolm X called the white race a 'race of DEVILs' in as much as the white folks were mean, wicked and cruel to us, We ourselves had hands in our suffering! Take slavery for example, it was our ancestors that sold slaves to them, they didnt come to pack us by force our Selfish kings sold to them for various reasons best known to them!

Dont plan a revenge on the entire race cause not all white people are wicked!

Christianity EtcRe: The Bible Is Not The Inerrant Word Of God: It Is Just A Copy Of Mythology by richjohn1(m): 10:11pm On Aug 31, 2011
Everyone is entitled to his own opinion, I Believe in God, but I can never say I belive the bible is God's word, my grand parents were baptist missionaries I started doubting the bible from a VERY young age with continous sleepless nights and persistent horrible experiences I see in the "house of gawd" no one had answers for me. I've read through the bible about four times and you literalily see the contradictions all dad and mum will tell me is 'just believe' I started researching and studying and I saw some amazing facts that its not ethical to speak about.

You clearly see the similarities and the connectons between christianity and other mystical cults and religions there are several books FREE online on this subject. Its just sad people will blindly refute this fact.

Well 'logica' its no use trying to convince anyone! no need to use abusive words. Let everone be guided by his/her conscience.

Long live nairaland, I LOVE THIS WEBSITE
