Abeg it is not yet confirm if it is bomb blast, but at the moment, it is conoil fiiling station opposite NNPC towers that is on fire. And the loud blast heard is as a result of the underground tank exploding. I also feel the Total feeling station next to conoil might also be on fire |
habapalapa: Hey guys,You have to put a figure for it, because in a business you are expected to make withdrawals as your own salary. Though at the beginning ,there is no withdrawal expected, but once you start making good income withdrawal is necessary and acceptable. Also from the the cash flow at the second stage, you are expected to fill in your expected withdrawal for each month. ( I saw the second stage cashflow from a Youwin awardee). So my advice to is that you should put a figure that is low and will cover the average withdrawal in a month for the first one year. |

Akpabio finished it all. I really love this governor. Saying the truth as it is and he understands the politics of Nigeria. 10000 likes for Akpabio |
Okija_juju: http://thenationonlineng.net/new/angry-pdp-governors-to-jonathan-forget-2015/I agree with you on the rest except this; Why should Bamanga Tukur be sacked ? As a sacrificial lamb or what? And by the way, why are you calling BT factional chairman? Baraje is in no way recognised as a PDP chairman. Baraje is only the chairman of a group of 7 mischievous governors and Atiku! |
Frank-C:You said it all. This is about constitution not personal sentiments. |

gistsky: SUNTAI has neva made any statement since he arrived. Blame it on suntai's wife n suntai's aides. Nigerian politicians re like soldier ants, They prefer dying in biting to leavin d power n live.^^^ Are you not following news. Have you heard or seen that Suntai has made a state broadcast? My worry with all this is the way some journalist or Nigerians report these things. They are never satisfy. First they said he dead, they later saw his pictures being alive. Sahara reporters then said he is brain dead, but he arrived the country safely and identified all those that welcomed him. They said he should address the state , he as done that . What else do they want? to step aside ? why? The constitution was followed when he had an accident and the deputy governor was sworn in as acting governor. what is difficult in following the constitution again now that he is back. The Governor should do the honourable thing and revert to his position as deputy. the governor doesn't need to be completely strong before he can govern the state, that's why we have the deputy and the executive council. Since he is stable enough to give instructions, he still remains the governor. Being sick should never be seen as a crime, but i just wonder how some people think. You became deputy governor and in one month you are acting governor, is that not enough? |
Right step in the right direction |
I think this will strengthen our Democracy. Is not about what we feel, is about constitution. I remember after Yaradua saga a new law came to play that requires that the deputy governor is immediately sworn in as acting governor 21 days after his absence from office. And the governor is only expected to send a letter to the state house of assembly informing them of his return. With this Suntai's case, I think a new law needs to be written, that requires the governor to address the assembly upon his return. The only prove for him being healthy is what the doctors say. I guess Suntai is still on track. |

Cracks in APC As ACN National Treasurer Resigns, Accuses Party of Ethno-Religious Slant Posted by: Our Reporter on June 27, 2013 in Exclusive Leave a comment The National Treasurer of the Action Congress of Nigeria, ACN, and a member of the National Harmonization Committee, Mr. Kenneth Kobani has resigned accusing the All Progressive Congress, APC, of having a “clear ethno-religious slant.” In his resignation letter, a copy which was sent to Pointblanknews.com, Kobani expressed very serious concern about the formation of the APC, insisting that it has failed to reflect the secularity and the geo-political realities of Nigeria. “The outcome of my consultations is that they expressed very serious concerns that the proposed party is completely different in form, character, and orientation from the ideals of the ACN of which I am a member and its national treasurer; especially in so far as the proposed party has a clear ethno-religious slant, and does not take into account the secularity and geo-political realities of the very complex Nigeria State,” Kobani said in his letter quitting the party. The resignation letter reads: “After the conclusion of our meeting of today, 24th June 2013, held at the Lagos State Governor’s Lodge, Asokoro, Abuja, which was convened to harmonise the distribution of Interim Offices of the proposed All Progressives Congress, (APC), l had cause to discuss the outcome with my constituents. “The outcome of my consultations is that they expressed very serious concerns that the proposed party is completely different in form, character, and orientation from the ideals of the ACN of which I am a member and its national treasurer; especially in so far as the proposed party has a clear ethno-religious slant, and does not take into account the secularity and geo-political realities of the very complex Nigeria State. “In view of these emerging facts of the merger, when taken within the concern I had expressed over the infiltration of some characters and influences into the state chapter of our party, ostensibly with the tacit support of some leading figures in the party, it is indeed with a heavy heart that l wish to inform you that l can no longer remain a member of the ACN, and hereby resign my position as National Treasurer and my membership of the merger harmonisation committee of the party. “From the events of this evening, after much cogitation it is my firm conviction that the proposed political party (APC), which the leadership of the merging parties have subscribed to does not reflect in composition and structure the current realities of the Nigerian state. “I wish to place on record my gratitude to you Mr. Chairman Sir, senior leaders of our party, my colleagues in the National Working Committee and the membership of our party for finding me worthy to have served you since 2010. “I will take with me fond memories of your firm yet fatherly leadership and selfless service in the defense of Democracy. I will also always remember the many battles we fought and won and will never forget our collective resolve to fight injustice and oppression in our country; and ultimately, your unquenchable desire to change this country for the better. “Finally, in spite of my strong reservations and objections to the new direction things have taken, my prayers remain that you succeed in all your future endeavors. Yours faithfully Kenneth Kobani http://pointblanknews.com/pbn/exclusive/cracks-in-apc-as-acn-national-treasurer-resigns-accuses-party-of-ethno-religious-slant/ |
pretty_boi: In my opinion,GEJ is a sitting president. .Clinton wasn't a sitting president while that stuff happened. You see the difference ?No I don't agree with you. What of during football matches, are the players sitting Presidents too? Protocol demands that you honour your guest first, whether president, civilian, footballer etc |
GEJ doesn't need the governors! |
I think the topic should have been, sports editor attacks Odemwinge. Osaze was only responding to attack, I really don't blame him on this one. |

dayokanu: If 1.2 bn is for design then we can guess how much for the total workTo construct fast train tracks, cost mega bucks. But I think it is PPP arrangenment. To construct a fast train track on electric, can cost between 4million to 10million dollars per kilometer, depending on the nature of the area and terrain. I truely commend GEJ for embarking on this project. It is long overdue |
These northeners should shut up! GEJ said even anmesty programme for the Niger delta wasn't a complete success, so how on earth do they want something that is not a success to be repeated! Moreover, the ideology of MEND is totally different from that of Boko haram. Boko are blood sucking terrorist, there is no negotiation with Terrorist!!! |
So hot |
To me the Awards was a huge success! All the presenters did extremely well, from the red carpet to the stage. Derenle was exclusively good, he new how to handle the red carpet and put the celebrity at a comfort zone. My best dressed was Rita Dominic My worst was Jim Ikye and Genevieve I wonder what she was thinking when she wore the white dress. She was trying to expose her flat breast and it didn't go well. Derenle asked her "if her underwear was to speak, what will it say" ? Ofcourse she couldn't answer cos she was wearing no bra! ![]() ![]() |
Nakele: But Genny was dressed in White (a tyoe of suit -dress) and then when she present , she was in yellow, so how come ths pic in yellow , red carpet?I think she had to change, cos the first dressing didn't look good on her. It was exposing her flat breast and I was embrassed with her. I guess she had to do another red carpet photo shoots. Rita Dominic was my best dressed |
I got the same email too. Those attending the fair in lagos, the deadline for registration was yeterday, while the summit it on the 12th of march. Mine is abuja and the deadline is 17th. I will wait for the feedback from those in Lagos, before I proceed. But to be frank, am skeptical about it. There website is so scanty, but no harm trying. |
dougivilla: I am almost there, what clarifications, lets see if I can helpThey talked about not inputing figures in the areas shaded yellow in the financial cashflow template. How come the gross staff wages and the Payroll expenses are coloured? I think its a mistakes. Cos those figures are needed to be able to input the overall estimated tax and calculate the net profit What's your thought on that? |
Youwin is for real o! Anybody in the house that has started going through the financial Cashflow template? There is a slight confusion there,I wanna clarify. Thanks |
