what my oga is saying is that the house is up to the stage where personal and/or security interest of the project and not least the client come first.

Simply put they are starting or about to start furnishing the house and this could attract some unruly five finger discount customers.  You dig!

nice house no doubt, cost hmmmmmmmm 50-50, but i my opinion there some things that can be spared really.  Again good taste they say is in the eye of the beer drinking.  Sorry i meant beholder!

Second thing i noticed generally is that most house construction pic i have seen here are done using 2by2, 2by3 and 2by4's.  Here in europe you will be talking 2by6 etc.

Meanwhile, the bungalows you are planning to build, I hope you are not going to change your mind tomorrow and decide to make it an upstair in the future? If you decide to use this style, the upstair option is not applicabe as this foundation is not made to carry any more floors on top.

I understood, you know for the main time, i just want somewhere to hide my head and my massive home cinema system for now. I will be doing this on two plots of land. I know in the future i will have the chance to experiment with building that will involve decking surely.

I really like this bungalow but i might just add a garage/shed for 4 or 5 wheels. That will do me until i get hungry again.

I think we have crossed the first N1m in the cost of building this house, (materials and labour costs)

The roof beckons, and from my own rough calculations, this house will consume around N1.1-N1.3m to roof, (wood, normal step tiles aluminium of 0.45 gauge.)

We are not going to do a parapet support for the roof, but the roofing pattern will look very fine.

hi spyderman, can you confirm pls. The total cost of this building from foundation to the picture above is appr 1.5 million + 1million roofing later?

if that is the case I think i should rather built two bungalows keep one for my use and rent the other one out.
