more work done today, we are still topping the blocks on the lintels to prepare for the decking and we are also doing the designed pillars to carry the front porch.

More pictures, watch the mound of sand, and see how they turn it to designed pillars, can you see the size of this living room/lounge? Zambia and Ivory coast can play their football finals here grin grin

Lol! No oh fhemmmy! The pillar will be poured just like regular pillars but round with rods, cement, sand, and gravel. What they're moulding on that sand is just like a shell/cover/pop to cover the pillars. Remember Spyder did the same for his own house? Go back to your note oh cux you don dey forget Watin we learn lol!

You are very correct, this is just the designed casing for the pillar.

Spyder is this base a cover case too? Or will the whole pillar base stand on it's own? Am asking because there's only sand in the uncompleted base picture.

^^^^ Yes, the base is for the cover, he will cut it in half later and remove the sand, then mount the base and cast it with concrete before standing the columns.
