I wouldn't want to reveal too much about this. But know it today that immigration personnel have the tendency to work legitimately with both local companies and MNC's.

Just to buttress your point further according to what we were taught, a new reform has been made on the Inspectorate Cadre whereby there are only 2 ranks therein now - the Assistant Inspector (Unconfirmed Inspector for Police, Level 6) and Inspector (Confirmed Inspector for Police, Level 7). Prior to this new reform, there was a reform that was initiated to put a barrier to personnel who didn't or couldn't acquire the additional certificate (i.e. Degree) needed to properly advance into the Superintendent Cadre. Heretofore, this category of personnel could attain the rank of Chief Superintendent with their O'Level. Thus, to put a barrier to this phenomenon, the solution was to create an Inspectorate Cadre to absorb them and make them rise to Chief Inspector instead, since they couldn't just be dismissed. Therefore, this present reform (i.e. relinquishing the Inspectorate Cadre) can now come to stay because this set of people are now properly retired. Hope this information helps!

I have made the enquiry from so many officers in my command. The reply they all gave me is that In IMMIGRATION, there's no Officer at level 08 on inspectorate cadre. All level 08 officers are on supretendent cadre with one Star on their shoulder. Have equally ask some officers on inspectorate cadre, dey said non of them is on level 08. There's no level 08 inspector since after 2020 harmonization of Rank

To your question, my colleagues have said it all. We have been given to understand time to time that the 'rituals' are not punishments but drills to ensure that we're physically fit and disciplined. Our civilian mentality is meant to fade away while a militarised one is imbibed. It's simply what the job entails, and it's what we're adapting to. There's this morale we sing in my command, it's titled "Hymn 001". It goes thus:
"No be me call you, make you kan join us, na here we dey o, you carry your problem come, anything you see o, na your own, anything you hear o, na your palava"

In all, our instructors are really doing a great job. Shout out to our able instructors - Banky aka Bravo (O.C sharp guy), Onanuga, Jacob, Wale, Benson, Obi, etc. Our Provost and his 2IC, and lastly all our course facilitators, they're just too much, God bless them all!
PS: In my command, everyone is seen as equal (recruits). So, nobody/cadre is made to or perceived to be superior yet as long as we're all still putting on white and white.

I can confirm that you are still very wrong in your assertion. I don't know about other agencies under interior, but what I know and has seen with eyes is that immigration Pays certain allowance in addition to the basic salary on appointment letter.
You basing your position on assumption but am telling the reality with 100% certainty
. There's no immigration personnel that receives only basic salary that stated on appointment letter without any added Allowances.
Pls don't misinform the public of what you are NOT sure/certain about

Do you work in NIS or NSIWC that you're too sure of the remuneration package of the service? And really disgusting to say the least that you people are making your emphasis on salaries from what you read online randomly Next time, learn how to help someone seeking advice by giving them all they have to know or things they might have to carefully consider (full pros and cons) which requires your experience so that you don't further confuse their confusion. When you give complete information, that person will be able to weigh their options and make an informed decision.
