Good Afternoon the whole house.
Kindly advice me. I was issued 7 weeks Canadian visa in October 2016 and I managed travel for 9 days and return just to honour the stress and headache i went tru to get the visa VIA ONLINE APPLICATION which expired last year December.
Now I wish to re-new and apply for my wife and kids. Which channel is the best for me ONLINE or PAPER APPLICATION.

I intend to apply for a Canadian visiting Visa for vacation slated for July 2017.

I once applied online back in England and got a reply a day later (it was indeed a quick visa application) but got rejected due to no ties in UK and Nigeria.

I am thinking of processing online visa application from Nigeria, I would like to know the duration of the application, do i need to send in my international passport (back in England i didn't send my passport, i upload the bio page and visas got). Is it advisable to go ahead with online or paper?

Please i look forward to a swift reply.

I got paid last month's salary on the last day of the month.

Now 5 days into the new month, I got an better offer (read that to mean, I have been interviewed and chosen by a new place before this)

Am getting a letter of appointment tomorrow.

How do I close the chapter at the former place of employment neatly?

By returning last month's salary or by working for the next 30 day's free or just walking away? Is there any other option?

What is the position of the law?

It is simple, not rocket science. Hand-In your letter resignation, thanking the company for the opportunity, bla bla. You will only be paid for the number of days you worked in the new month.

OR

Request from the new place for extra weeks to formalize things (or resume).

First Method
This is the legal and most advisable process. In this process, you have to visit the police website (www.npf.gov.ng).. fill and download the application form or visit a police command office to pick up the necessary application forms. This method is free but expect to pay a few bucks here and there.

-Visit the Nigeria Police Force website.
-Click “tinted permit” under quick links.
-Fill the application form on the right side to obtain an application ID.
-In order to complete the application process, login with your email and the application ID given to you.
-Fill the Bio-Data form and provide the details of the vehicle you want to obtain a tint permit for.
-Take the print-out to any police command for barcode verification, capture your biometrics and collect you tint permit certificate.

Second Method
You can use a trusted agent who could charge average of 10k to do the entire process on your behalf. Several Nigerians tend to prefer this method due to time constraint.

The relationship between a bank and its customer is contractual
The person who paid in error is not a party to it
Let him bring a court order to stop transactions on the account - an ordinary letter WILL not do
The beneficiary (payee) of a cheque cannot even stop the cheque if it is stolen from him; only the drawer (the account holder) can

Consider the opposite - you sell goods to somebody, he pays you and changes his mind about it because the price is lower somewhere and he now tells the bank he paid you in error

He needs a court order - even the police cannot freeze without a court order

You have a point there with a court order but in some cases, the banks do have the power to carry out an investigation when foul play is suspected. For me i got my money back. The court order was my 2nd choice in the list and the 3rd was locate the receiver, get him arrested and proceed to the courts.
