I applied for EOR (BC), my score got increased and the date changed. Hope this helps. Emmasonic4me: Maybe people that have gone for EOR before should confirm if there's any change in date on the new TRF issued after remark when it's reprinted. If thats the case, then it can be used to ascertain if they actually sent it for re-evaluation or not. |

@peddy001, thanks for respond. In the application field for visa denial, i stated the reasons and scanned all pages of passport that contains visas. However, I wrote LOE on the visa denial, merged the visa denial letter pdf and uploaded document in the optional holder provided before submitting. peddy001: There's a place in your application whereby you are asked if you have been denied or refused entry into any country, that's where you will state it. I didn't have to submit my denial letter, I just stated the reason they gave and told them I have since been grated the visa since then. Also you'll be requested to scan any current visas you have. |

You definitely have to add your BSc certificate and transcripts. Both needs to evaluated by the WES to avoid running from pillar to post in the near future. senors: I initiated my ECA through WES last year December, process of which is yet to complete due to the NASU strike. Although, I am hoping to have my transcript sent to WES by next week. While completing the WES online process, I selected the ECA should be done only for my MBA but now I am considering adding my BSc also. Is this still possible without having to pay new fees to WES? Someone should kindly advise on most effective and efficient way to get this done. Thank you. |

@maideyz, It is truly sad to flunk any exam in life owning to the fact the time, study and resources put in. There is really nothing wrong with you, you can read, write and speak the English language. Truth be told, dust yourself up and fix your eyes at the prize ahead, forget about the exam fee, try and do the following: - Smile and be thankful. - Don't look or book the closet exam date (preferably give a space of 4 or 5 weeks). - Avoid whack nolloywood movies and soaps (listen to CNN, BBC, Sky, supersorts and watch holloywood movies). - Engage a friend (here or at home) for speaking practise. - Read Jehovah witness "Awake" publications to enhance your reading practise. - Practise Listening in Harsh condition such as in a noise environment to check your concentration level. - Listen to the English alphabets in US, UK and Australian accents. - Get BC IELTS practise materials volume 1 to 12 (youtube didn't work for you at the earlier stage). - Practise at least three exam module (LRWS) each day. Please note the above listed may not work but search within you for your comfort zone to the ace the exams. maideyz: Good day all,
I got a very dissappointing result for my ielts. This is my third attempt and i really prepared for the exam but to my dissapointment the result is worse than the previous ones.
I had Listening 7 Reading 6.5 writing 6.0 speaking 6.5 |

Kapaskii: please i also have a little problem.my crs score is 415, i have my wes, 4years working experience and an average score of 7.5 in my ielts. i however gave my details to a travel agent who promised to get me a job in canada. so in short he opened my EE profile for me. its over 8months now and he is not saying anything and even avoiding my call -thank God i hadnt paid much except for $250 for lawyer consultation as regards the job. told the agent to close my account as am no longer interested and have enough information to do this myself which ofcos he as been ignoring. so i decided to create an EE profile myself. Alas!! i was told i am no longer eligible for the pool. someone told me its cos the profile created by the agent is still activate so maybe they are jamming. could this be the reason? i am so confused right now as i av spent so much on this process already! guy i need you advice on this. thanks |

I once did online transaction. The preferred BC bank is Standard Charter, use the information sent to your email after the initial exam booking and follow the procedures. When you don't get a confirmation mail from BC, send an email on the transaction you did. Your transaction will be confirmed and exam details will be sent to your email. In my second attempt, the lady made it unbearable, i stammered a few times, was cut short alot, indirectly told me my respond was wrong but suggestion answers. Hello Ladies and Gents, Today is truly a memorable day for me. I am indeed a surviving reader (drop comments whenever i like). Written IELTS 3 three time and there is always an issue with getting the desired scores. With alot of consultation from friends, cousin and girlfriend, i reluctantly applied for EOR in speaking since money won't be an issue when i have my eyes fixed to the prize. After applying for EOR on the 27th January 2018, i registered for 3rd March 2018 test (Abeokuta). Alot of practise (paid and free), engaged friends in speaking, did 18 personal writing, few lie telling in the office to enable me study for the test. The day of reckoning arrived (today), BC scattered my heart with the following result LRWS = 8.5, 7.5, 6.0, 7.5. I did horrible things, shouted on my office team (so ashamed to write other things here). However, Tosinsho007, after reading your comment, i had to check my email and surprisingly the EOR turned positive in my favour for speaking. To all out there, go ahead with EOR on Speaking and Writing only. Register for a new test date having atleast 1 month for practise. To this end, BC Nigeria is a total rip off. Tosinsho007: Hello Nairalanders, ive been a passive member of this group but i want to post my story to encourage others
i took the ielts test on jan 20th and my result was LRWS 8.5, 8, 6.5, 7.5. i was really upset cuz like so many other people, i felt i did better. i registered for another test for 24th march and my speaking test was supposed to be tomorrow 17th March (Lol money don waste like that)
on the 5th of february, i requested for a the EOR on writing with a time frame of 10-12 weeks in mind but today 16th march (6 weeks exactly) i got my new result and score was bumped up from 6.5 to 8 thats a whole 1.5. CSR went from 408 to 456.
There is something wrong with BC nigeria and i hope this unfair treatment of nigerians is stopped soon. For those who want to remark, please do that by all means and God will favor us all. Cheers!! |

Kudos boss, i am really impressed on how you tackled the issues. However, i won't mind to be in-touch with you over the phone. Hope i am not asking for much akmog: I did the affidavit of return at high court , secondly on the travel history stuff, I told them in my letter of explanation that I have travelled to some West Africa countries for official assignment since where I'm working has branches in those countries but this is not showing in my passport because I didn't need visa to enter those countries. And I also told them that the reason have not travelled to places like USA, UK Canada is because travelling is not my hobby, I only travel when I have something very important to do which is why I am applying for visa now in other to add value to myself and also enhance my career. |
