The Katsina Police Command has arrested three undergraduates of the Umaru Musa Yar’adua University suspected to have murdered one Abdulmalik Kabir in Malumfashi Local Government Area of the state.

The suspects – all male – are two third year students and a second year student, according to Mr Bensen Gwana, the state Commissioner of Police, who paraded them before journalists on Friday in Katsina.
“The police arrested the three suspects when they attacked their victim and inflicted serious injuries on him which led to his death.

“The arrested persons caused grievous harm on their victim over an issue of girlfriend, in the month of November, 2017.

“The victim died in a hospital while receiving treatment,” the commissioner said. (NAN)

South African television and radio personality Pearl Modiadie surprised her father with a new luxury home.

Modiadie, who co-hosts The Great Escape on Metro FM, bought a house in Johannesburg, demolished it and then built a better house.
She said building a big house for her father was something that she had always wanted to do. Modiadie said after she lost her mother, at the age of 10, she felt that she needed to take care of her father the best way possible.

"I feel fulfilled now that it has finally happened," she told Sowetan.
"This has reminded me of how faithful God is and how he always keeps his promise that 'anything you ask for in my name, you shall receive'. I wanted it to be exactly what I had envisioned for my dad."

Modiadie, who is engaged to marry Nkululeko Buthelezi, said it was important for her to take care of her home first before embarking on another life journey.

"It's unfortunate when you see people living large while their parents [and] family members aren't taken care of. I understand that some dynamics are different, but home should always come first."
"I've always been a huge fan of saving. So when I wanted to take this on, there was already money set aside for a project of this magnitude."

About her father, she said:

"My father loves it. He's a proud dad right now, that's for sure. He was surprised when I presented his gift and had a lot of questions to ask!"

My name Is Glorianna Eghe Idubor. I am a 19 year old girl from Edo state but have been living in Norway now for 7 years. I am a student (mechanical Engineer) but also work part time at our very own restaurant.

How it feels like to have a third expensive car at 19

Well yeah the car. The feeling is always great when you know you make your money working hard and can get yourself something nice. A car is not the best thing I the world but it is something nice and something I am happy for because it's from hardworking

On her Major source of income and what pushed her into it, she said:

Like I said earlier I work with my family... the restaurant is ours but I get paid like other workers should and I pay my taxes and all just like a normal person but this is not forever... just till am done with my studies

On if she has a boyfriend, she said:

Don't think I want to comment on that if you don't mind ?

Advice to young girls:

Well am a young lady myself... but will just say... keep doing you. The little you are doing now might get you big and if you have anything or any dream. Keep fighting and always pray for better and good outcome

A young teenage Igbo girl named, Chidinma Ihuoma from Mbirichi, has been apprehended by Nigerian security operatives with two human heads!

According to reports making the rounds online, Mr. Ogah Onwe Chinedu, a lecturer in the department of History and international relations in Ebonyi State University, Abakaliki has been Dismissed by the EBSU Senate for allegedly being guilty of so many allegations charged against him.

A student of the school said:

All Mr. Ogah Onwe Chinedu does is to forcefully sleep with girls and treating to fail them if they refuse to comply with him. He has been sued before by HIR students but one Dr. Uche Okonkwo and some other Lecturers in the department pleaded on his behalf to be forgiven, yet he goes about doing the same thing over and over again. He hides people’s project topic just to delay them from going to service if you ain’t in good terms with him.”
