Defense Minister Yoav Gallant today officially notified the heads of the Jewish settler movement that the "disengagement law" that led to the forced evacuation of Jews from northern Samaria in 2005 has been cancelled. Gallant said the move would result in increased Israeli settlement activity and greater security for Jews living in Judea and Samaria.
