Four Israeli soldiers were killed by a Hezbollah anti-tank missile in southern Lebanon.

Israel responded by striking multiple Hezbollah targets.

In response to the Israeli retaliation, Iran cancelled its participation in the talks in Switzerland.

That’s how it works: they instruct their proxies to attack during a ceasefire, and then use Israel’s response as an excuse to refuse negotiations over their nuclear program.

Now, take a wild guess - who will be reprimanded for all of this?

Saudi outlet *Al Arabiya* is publishing, it claims, the memorandum of understanding between the United States and Iran.

Its clauses, in brief:

- An immediate and permanent end to the war on all fronts, including Lebanon.
- The U.S. will immediately lift the naval blockade on Iran and prevent “any interference” on the matter.
- The U.S. will withdraw all its forces from the region within a month of concluding a final agreement.
- Iran will lift the Hormuz blockade within a month.
- The U.S. and its “regional partners” commit to formulating a plan for Iran’s reconstruction — funded with at least 300 billion dollars.
- If the final agreement is implemented, the U.S. will remove all current sanctions on Iran, including all U.N. and IAEA resolutions.

- Iran commits:

“We will never produce nuclear weapons.” The issue of enriched uranium will be settled in the final agreement. Until such an agreement is reached, the U.S. allows Iran to remain in the current status quo of its nuclear program.
- The U.S. will authorize the export of Iranian crude oil — including banking, insurance, and shipping — and Washington will release all frozen Iranian funds.

IDF:
Following the sirens that sounded a short while ago regarding a hostile aircraft infiltration in the areas of Metula and Misgav Am, the Israeli Air Force intercepted a suspicious aerial target that crossed from Lebanon into Israeli territory.

As Hezbollah continues to fire rockets and drones toward northern Israel, we are reminded of a bitter truth: no amount of negotiations or agreements with terrorists can ever produce lasting peace in this fallen world.

The ideology of a diabolical movement cannot be appeased by a signed document. History has proven that time and again. You could ask Chamberlain and Wilson, and perhaps soon President Trump and his team as well.

Hezbollah is not Lebanon. It is the long arm of the ayatollah regime.

Psalm 83 makes it clear that those who seek to erase Israel are, first and foremost, the enemies of God. Their hatred of Israel is the manifestation of a far deeper hostility toward Him and His purposes. Their desire is “that the name of Israel may be remembered no more” because Israel stands as a testimony to the faithfulness of the God they reject.

There is no territorial dispute between Israel and Lebanon. There is no territorial dispute between Israel and Iran, Israel and Turkey, or even Israel and Russia. Yet these nations will unite against Israel because of ideology, greed, and above all, their enmity toward God.

Much of that hatred exists not because they truly know Him, but because they see His hand at work through His people. The survival of the Jewish people and the rebirth of the nation of Israel in its ancestral homeland have always been - and will always remain - a devastating blow to every ideology that denies the faithfulness of God.

That is why we must never take off our spiritual glasses when we watch world events unfold.

Every attempt to tie Israel’s hands behind its back is ultimately destined to fail, because the Keeper of Israel is always at work.

“He who keeps Israel shall neither slumber nor sleep.”

President Trump spoke this evening with Prime Minister Netanyahu about the memorandum of understanding being formulated with Iran for entering negotiations.

Although Israel is not a party to the memorandum, the Prime Minister expressed his appreciation for President Trump’s commitment that the final agreement, at the conclusion of negotiations, would include the removal of enriched material, dismantling of enrichment infrastructure, limits on missile production, and cessation of Iran’s support for its terrorist proxies in the region.

Many of you may think that I am angry, frustrated, or even disappointed.

Nothing could be further from the truth.

I am amazed, excited, and deeply humbled to be living in the days when Bible prophecy is unfolding before our very eyes.

For more than 30 years, I have taught that the day would come when Iran would join a coalition led by Russia and joined by Turkey, united in their determination to destroy Israel.

I have taught that Damascus would become a heap of ruins.

I have also taught that no nation - including America - will come to Israel’s military aid.

And finally, I have taught that Israel’s survival will not ultimately depend on its own weapons or defense systems.

God Himself will intervene.
God Himself will fight.
God Himself will prevail.

As He declared:

“So I will magnify Myself and sanctify Myself, and I will be known in the eyes of many nations. Then they shall know that I am the LORD.” (Ezekiel 38:23, NKJV)

That is why I am neither fearful, frustrated, nor disappointed.

I am simply watching the faithfulness of God’s Word unfold exactly as He promised.
