The Meeting went very well! The United States is going to work with Lebanon in order to help it protect itself from Hezbollah. HYPOCRISY AT ITS POWER AND PEAK. few days the whole world was outraged by the footage of an IDF soldier vandalizing a statue of Jesus in southern Lebanon. It is important for you to know that the IDF condemned this serious act and that an overwhelming majority of the Israeli people also condemn and are ashamed of it. But I think this is an opportunity to talk about hypocrisy in the Arab world, because while they echoed this story with headlines on Al Jazeera and voices of shock on Arab social networks, I want to remind you of this video which is also from Lebanon—only in this case it involves Muslim residents in Lebanon who vandalized the statue of Jesus due to a conflict with the local Christian residents. Why in this case did the world not condemn or respond? Why did they not address Hezbollah turning a Christian church into a terror base? Why did they not address the massacre Christians are enduring in Syria? Why did they not address the Christian population in Gaza that is being wiped out? This isn't a revenue shortfall. It's deindustrialization at a pace not seen since WWII. Total direct damage: $122–208B, or 38–48% of pre-war GDP, in 45 days. ▪️ For 47 years, the regime refused to make any strategic investments in the welfare of Iranians. 58% of Iran's basic goods imports move through one single port; Bandar Imam Khomeini port, which requires Hormuz access. Iran imports 56%+ of its corn. The same chokepoint Iran closed to pressure others is the one its food supply depends on. ▪️ The IRGC funds itself through barrels of oil that it gets to sell in the blackmarket. Kharg Island crude revenue, approximately $78B/year gross, is the IRGC's primary financial engine. National Iranian Oil Company keeps only 14.5% of export revenues; roughly a third goes to IRGC transfers. The blockade is strangling the security apparatus's ability to pay its own forces. When enforcers stop getting paid, loyalty math changes fast. ▪️ Iran entered this conflict with a collapsing currency, insolvent banks, destroyed industry, no food import alternatives, and a fiscal budget that assumed oil revenues that the blockade has now zeroed out. IDF Spokesperson: The Hezbollah terrorist organization recently launched a hostile aircraft toward IDF forces operating south of the forward defense line, in the southern Lebanon area. The aircraft was intercepted by the Air Force and did not cross into Israeli territory. No alerts were activated, in accordance with policy. This constitutes a blatant violation of the ceasefire agreement.
