according to the desire of the often desperate seekers of all sorts of solution. D trut bi sei, pipo go ful 4d shop on d day of d jonzing. |
just about anything is possible these days, and don't u ever think it can't happen. If America can get a black president, then the world can also get a black papal |
just about anything and everything is possible these days. Hmm.... Mankind! |
if this news is anything to go by, then Mr president must then be needing tutorials on how to go about the "national honours" thing. It's becoming stupendous i mean |
the thing is that some of us, as a matter of fact, many of us have certain complains here but a greater multitude doesn't know how to go about rectifying them. This can really be disappointing. For some, navigating freely is a no-go-area. The comptroller general should pls do something to help such ons if truely they are "nairalanders" to u. |
i strongly believe there is a conspiracy in the oval office to prevent obama from winning the elections. This i think is one of the manifestation of proof. |
Kslib: You are mad!!! You hear me? I say "you dey mad"... If d man keep quiet, una go call am snail.. Now wey the man dey talk tough, you con dey talk rubbish.. Kslib: You are mad!!! You hear me? I say "you dey mad"... If d man keep quiet, una go call am snail.. Now wey the man dey talk tough, you con dey talk rubbish.. Kslib: You are mad!!! You hear me? I say "you dey mad"... If d man keep quiet, una go call am snail.. Now wey the man dey talk tough, you con dey talk rubbish.."now wey d man dey talk tough". U dey jonze? Does it end at talking tough? Does talking tough alone satisfy u? Does GEJ really seem to u as some1 who can take decisive action? MUMU. |
na character, but me nor dey play wit good looks sha |
For naomi to actually take time to write about this group of people is truely commendable and heart-warming. Let us all focus on the reasons she mentioned for such low grades. These are day-to-day harsh realities of the Nigerian student. Thumbs up to all those who commented meaningfully, u guys are great. Examination is and will never be the true test of knowledge. |
it's a lie, the governor was only trying to tell her something in the mouth (like whispering). U know she uses her mouth to hear. |

eyenCalabar: Some of you so-called Christians of NL, if u have your way, u'll cripple Christianity. So it wrong for a pastor to fly using his own personal jet. That's wrong mentality brother. Ok, if you say the pastor should not used church money to buy jet or any so-called expensive things, where would he get the money from? Or you'll be happy to see him using church money for charity and a brother in church would go picking him to church everyday and another taking him back home after service. Okay, if you agrees that he buys a car, what kind of car would you like your pastor to use? An expired model? A bittle? Or just what? Okay, if a car is okay for him to use without complains, is it plane/jet that is too much? My people, they'll always be poor ppl in the society, some join the church with their poverty so don't blame the man of God that he is living big while members are poor. Besides, if those poor members don't give from their poverty state they'll never get of out poverty. Take it or leave it. You alone, ponder on your cumulative for the past six months you have given to the church, can it buy your pastor a shoe? See, pray that your pastor is rich else you won't be rich yourself and eventhough you were rich before joining the church you'll be made poor 'cos your poor pastor now is your spiritual head and he'll influence you spiritually with his own poverty. Don't argue, just take it.This is a typical example of those whose have bee made to believe that unless u enrich ur pastor with ur means of livlihood, u'll not receive God's blessings. Honestly, it's a pity 4u guys |
Gaggi: This Op is a real dullard. Poor attempt at defending ur pastor dad.baba i respect ur comment. It is wholely true, especially d end part. Let he who has ears listen now, and those with eyes, let them attempt to use them. |
preshuzpearl: I have observed that most people react positively to achievement and possession acquired by celebrities but start hating when its pastors that acquire these things. It will really help us alot if we take a litle time-out to exa,ine or perhaps compare the life of the exampler Jesus Christ whom they claim to imitata for a while. Jesus himself stated that "even the birds of heaven have a resting place, but the son of man has no place to rest his head". Come to fink of it, jesus had all wat it takes to live a posh n comfortable life, but he refrained 4rm all dat because it would bring distractions. D men who came to take jesus away on the night of his death didn't even know how to identify him becos he didn't dress any differently 4rm his followers. They needed a sign to be able to tell who actually among d men is jesus. Now compare dat 2 wat obtains in virtually every chhurch today. |
Mynd_44: Now lemme put my head out there a lot of people will like to kill me for this but fûck this.Disagreed! It is both mentally, socially, marritally, naturally, divinely and scripturally wrong to say that a woman is "equal" to a man. Lemme tell u, even in mental capability, a woman does not "equal" a man (dats d natural formation). Dats a really flawed reasoning! It is divinely and originally established that d man is d head of the woman. |
say all u may about rap music but u can't seperate people like me 4rm good rap music, especially hard-core! Rap is poetic which makes it appeal to me so well. Think of the punchlines, metaphors, and wordplays. All these takes hard work to arrive at. I can hardly say how far back-dated the violent content of rap is, but i know it has always been there. Study the true rap culture and u'll find u can't seperate rap n violence. Good beats also make good rap songs; this is indisputable. The likes of mode9 in nigeria, eminem, common, jay z, etceterra has got it. As 4 me, i'm keeping my boom-box still. |
owen4u:really? Think again pal. |
slimyem: interesting piece...but i worry about our modern mothers! They don't seem to truely have what it takes |

timilehing: My gf would not even pick at all. She'll flash after 10missed calls or morei think it spells "weakness" for a guy to call a girl and keep calling until it reads up to "10 missed calls". Pls think of how such a lady will see u as. I think if she does not take the first call, she may have missed it because of say her distance 4rm the phone or something of such. By then, she now reaches the phone (after the 1st missed call), and wait 4ur next call to come in. If the 1st n 2nd calls go unanswered i think there is intent to ignore the call from the recieving end |
believe me, this issue is threatening to tear my relationship apart. I've complained but it is still proving persistent. Seriously, who is it that doesn't keep his/her phone close? I'd simply answer: no one. D way i see it, my girl has no reason WHATSOEVER to miss my call and keep missing it. Believe me guys, today's sunday had this play out again. I called her around 7am and she missed my 2 calls(naturally i don't call more than twice no matter what). She flashed around 11am and i ignored it. I called again twice around 4pm and she missed the calls again. Later she flashed and i bleeping ignored it again. And as i type this, i've not spoken with the girl i meant to speak to since 7am. Women can realy be annoying guys believe me! |
bankyblue: That is just the problem am facing now in my relationship! I just can stand it, and sometime i feel like calling the relationship off. . . But . . . . . Is really bad, when ur partner is not picking ojust a copy of what i might have typed if u hadn't mahn. |
omaladiva: Guys who don't trust their girlfriend of wife get angry when she doesnt answer the call at the first ring.na lie. U need to be in thay position to know how it feels. |
i red fruu tu di h-end tu si if i kud faind wan pozitivv koment abaut awa fest lady bort i nor si h-any o. |
but please my good people of naija and nairaland, please can someone tell what's wrong with prof. Barth being the sole distributors of power in the southeast region? Have this man's ability and resources not been vetted? As a minister and a proficient electrical power guru, he has been proven efficient. Remember that out of 27 companies that bidded(mostly foreign), his 2 companies passed into the best 7. I just can't find a problem with he being the sole distributor. |
tjskii: I go wait for him at d door, cos I'm excited hez home, give him a hug and a kiss, ave a big smile on my face(no matter ow icky my day has bin,I'll complain bout it later)take his jacket and briefcase in,ask him how his day was, dump the squealing wriggling kid in his lap and go get him his dinnerit's obvious you've watched alot of nigerian films. It's evident from your comment |
ifyalways: When do you have time to hug, kiss and grab "your" husband when you are obviously in your friends house observing them stylelol.......hillarious! |
kunletiwoo: That's a Fact!. Cos He's a prophet sent to this generation.u dey jonze |
True talk from the earstwhile CDS. But believe it or not, the much talked about "talk" may not even be able to quell this thing that has been looming in the horizon. Abi no be d naija wey i kw agn? |
VEE2010: Yes, we know that greed, competition, etc are major propellers of the economy according to Karl Max but, can't we just bury atleast greed for now so that things would change for the better? It's very unfortunate that the whole time wasted during the evaluation exercise was in vain because of greed occasioned by an individual's action. I know, this is a very trying time for the President. I urged him to keep faith, patriotic Nigerians are behind you most especially in the power reformation.Prof. Barth built an independent power plant in Aba before he became minister, just to aid the hub of factories there. He has been working as an agent steady power supply in the country. Do u feel an innept desire in the prof. Barth to take control of the process that is going to provide power for his people? We all know his achievments so far. I strongly feel that because of the passion and commitement he has for this course, he didn't want to sit back and watch other conpanies, especially foreign ones take over the mantle and deliver inefficiently. He wanted to perform himself. I think he wanted to deliver good service to his people thats why he bidded in the first place. Plus his company like we read from d news, is even more competent than sone other foreign companies |
sw: Where did he get the money to buy the power station? He should be probed and prosecuted.pls go n read about prof. Barth. He is a grounde guru in the power sector for a long time now which even earned him the enviable possition he occupied as minister of power. It's so sad how tins turned out for hin, but i think the easterners need his company to win the bids so that he can transfer his efficience to his people's benefit. And by-the-way, i don't think we can have a better replacement who is more purpose and result driven as he. We don loose pesin. |
pazienza: Don't see that ticket working, amaechi is not an igbo man,so definately he can't get our votes,i think he would have to rely on his small ikwerre tribe, and hope that other south southerners supports him, which i doubt, seeing as GEJ would probably still be in the race. I think this collabo will be the death of PDP,maybe that's what Obj intends to achieve.thats my mind bro. I just don't see it working. |
Good vision from a great Man. I think He should βε̲̣̣̣̥ applauded for his giant strides i̶̲̥̅̊n̶̲̅ the education sector... God bless U̶̲̥̅̊ Sir
