Una nor de fok? Funny as it may sound, but it is the truth. I don't know the cause of your quarrels though but I think if she say she doesn't like you ignoring her during such quarrels ...try to be the bigger person and don't ignore her. Never leave the house in anger or sleep over a quarrel. Sometimes just a hug and some knacks would resolve the whole issue. Also try to initiate moves to see the gynecologist if conceiving is an issue ...this is one of the causes of tension in newly weds. God bless your marriage.

Israel is fighting war. No time for any other gymnastics grin grin cheesy cheesy

Updated..
Before I forget ...you guys should sign up to go see a professional marriage counsellor that is if you try playing the bigger person to resolve the issue doesn't work out. Think of what she loves best, order it and get it delivered to her at work or at home. Ladies love surprises. Try to knack too ...inside kitchen or where she least expect in the house ooo grin

Long story short, abroad wife say she no fit dey suffer to work and pay off husband balance of fees, still dey send allowance to her first wife..... las las hanty pack up and returned back home. Home sweet home. grin

the UK immigration would not grant say 3 dependent visas for 3 women. Only one would be allowed as the UK law although recognises ur marriage would not issue visas for a polygamous situation. The others can come on their merit on a work or student visa.

In the US immigration law (and I would like to believe the same or similar applies to the UK), you are only allowed to present/sponsor one spouse for immigration purposes. The one you choose is entirely your choice, as long as there is evidence of a duly constituted marriage or civil partnership.

Btw, this your question bros come make me no want trust you again o shocked e be like say you want bring 2 sisters come UK shocked

Pardon my curiosity, but my dear moslem brothers and sisters, what does a man with more than 1 wife do when he wants to migrate?

Does UK law permit polygamy?

Which wife will be the chosen??

Thanks for the swift reply.
I will do as advised.

2. I have a car, which I have been driving here for 4 months now

You only have 5 or 6 slots to change dates so be counting. By the 6th time, you either take the test on that day or forfeit your money paid.

Best times to get a new date is between 10am and 6pm. Many people usually cancel.

I changed dates twice, from Jan 2024 to August 22nd eventually.

Well-done

I had a robust discussion with a friend who lives in Canada and while talked about the concept of people always thinking the UK is worse off in terms of Tax and bills. She made some very striking points worthy of mention.

1) Every country in the West operates a tax system and they are basically the same. You just think the grass is greener on the other side.

2) This tax and other deductions is what they use to make sure the society keeps running, and infrastructure is being maintained.

3) This tax deductions ensures the gap between the super rich and down and out isn't like what we see between Ikoyi residents and the slums around. Everyone has access to basic amenities. The children of the rich can walk into KFC and buy a pack of burger, so as the child of the low income earner.

4) Nigerians don't have a good Tax orientation. It is not a basic occurrence in the income lifestyle of the average man on the Nigerian Street. It isn't an emphasized concept. Even the government doesn't care about our taxes.

5) we have never really seen our taxes being used to make life better for us back home.

6) After 2 to 3 years, everyone relaxes and comes to terms with TAXES.

7) The WEST is basically the same, there could be 1 pr 2 adjustments to methods and policies.

Hi guys, Please a friend needs advice. She is a carer in a care home. One of the nurses said she recieved a complaint about her from a resident. The resident said she pin him to the wall, rough handled him and he felt scared for his life. She said nothing like that ever happened and in fact the man even praised her that she was one of the best carers to attend to him and always commend her effort everyone. But she was shocked at the sudden change of tone. There was no bruise or anything physical on the resident. However, she said the nurse in question hated her so much and have told many lies about her to the manager to get her sacked. The same nurse had previously made the owner to sack an African carer and she is the only African carer left they were just 2 before.

The issue is the resident is saying he is contacting his lawyers ( she believes the nurse is pressurising him to do so). The owner sent her a letter postponing her regular review until she hears from her lawyers.

Please what do you advise my friend to do cos she is worried.

Any CCTV footage?

Did she document her last encounter with him properly?

I have someone who was just cleared after 11 months last week. The old woman accused him of handling her breasts. Old woman wey don dey reach 90 o.
These wicked people kept postponing their so called panel even after police had done their own investigations and cleared him.

We prayed o

He also started writing petitions.

So it could be a long journey anyhow.

A second guy was framed by his co-workers (white dudes) that they saw him force-feeding a resident.

That one just got called off after 5 months...

So just make sure her documentation has no loophole.

I remember how Indians come to farm and buy all cashew seed from farmers.

Indians took the Cashew and Cocoa market

Lebanese took the charcoal market

Chinese took the wood and solid minerals market.

These guys buy direct from the source. They have more support from the government and even the locals.

Yea, no sentiment. It's disheartening though that the country keeps pushing away potential investments due to its low-rated ease of doing business indices

Bro, no be today e start. All those Senators all own business in African countries. They have back ups here and there. But, they would never initiate and sustain policies that would make agro business thrive for the common man.

Uganda and Kenya are reaping massively from agro export.

With our arable farmlands in Naija herdsmen no go allow you see road.

Imagine the market sesame, ginger, hibiscus (which we relegated to making zobo) , cashew, stoneflower, etc control globally.

Indians and Lebanese and Chinese guys with their heavy capital and favours from greasing palms are exploiting these markets in naija.

I remember how these guys would go to farm gate and because they are fair and yellow , they spoil the price and the unexposed natives who have not seen oyibo fall over themselves to sell to them.
I suddenly become "Omo yigbo" as better don come.
The problem of that country is just deep rooted.

Abi na the wahala of getting goods into the ports? Chai... Naija needs a miracle.

That's my plan when I'm ready to revisit the business in the future. Someone suggested Benin Republic specifically for palm fruit farming. Nigeria agro industry is for those with either money bags or shock absorbers and huge risk appetite. Talking from experience

Politics / Re: Tinubu CSU Certificate Fraud: β€œSave Us From Disgrace", Eze Chukwuemeka by rinzylee(m): 6:13pm On Sep 27, 2023
I want to believe that somewhere deep down in the heart of every human being supporting and making excuses for Tinubu on this platform, there is a little candle of consciousness that prices hard at their conscience and illuminates the wickedness and hypocrisy in them.

In your quiet moments, close your eyes and remove the bitterness of tribe and religion aside, and ask yourself.... does Nigeria deserve the entity called Tinubu?

Would you actually allow such a man to determine your destiny assuming it was his call to make ?

Will you allow such a man to lead you assuming you had just 1 year to get your life right or forever be doomed?

No point cursing the Man, but I am bothered about young men and women who have thrown caution to the wind, blinded by tribalism and religion, afraid to stand for TRUTH.

Except you plan to manage the Agro business yourself, good security perimeter, machineries plus because β€œLabour” is crazy out there, favourable farm community and then pray for favourable government policy.

Sometimes it is painful to realize that we are a blessed people, yet we suffer for the minutest things. I did export business while in naija...charcoal specifically, and I saw hell, before things started to get better and I ran back to start writing "patient was apparently well until 2 days ago ".

When I see how farmers in other African nations don't have to go through these rigours, I weep.

At this point, I don't even mind exploring East Africa.

I also share thesame drive but easy.... temper the urge to invest back home with caution.

Very true ... I have had my hands burnt but I also eventually learnt the ropes before leaving naija. But I would not overlook this caution.

Many diasporeans who invested in Nigeria over the last decade regrettably lost money. Many did that even before getting a mortgage abroad. Interestingly, this issue came up on another thread recently.
When I came, I considered using a cheap loan to purchase grains back home soon after the harvest season and sell after 4-6 months for typically 20-50% profit. Even with such margins, e still no too balance.
Opportunities abound in Nigeria, but I need the currency to stabilise before reopening that book. In the meantime, there are good investment opportunities here... tax free ISA, buy-to-let, SIPP e.t.c which many hardly use fully

Maybe I need to sit down and study the investment opportunities in this UK sha.

Jokes apart, do you think churches and charities in Nigeria should publish audited financial statements and have more transparency and reasonable oversight on their spending?

Fact is Church isn't run by democracy or economic policies. You can't contain God in a box. Even here in the UK, we do projects that Sunday tithes and offering can not even match. I understand the need for financial accountability, but trust me, a real genuine church and Pastor, has a lot of demand from God that government won't understand. To be honest with you , this topic is a huge one and maybe because I am well aware because I am in ministry, it would be difficult to speak without being tagged as biased.

The real work of the kingdom is HUGE!
