Federal government and monopoly. Only the gas flared in this country alone, if properly harnessed can supply the energy need of the whole of west Africa. It's not as if the energy demand in Africa is high when compared the other regions of the world. I remember before states like Bayelsa was connected to the National grid. There was constant FREE electricity in the capital for years. Yesterday someone was telling me he pays four thousand naira bill for a one bedroom flat, for a low voltage epileptic power supply. |

An excellent example of a people oriented project. The biggest problem facing this project is that generator sitting there. A gas turbine installed to generated electricity for a cluster of industry, not just for cassava processing plant. |

Alcohol make people commit more crime than cannabis yet it is legal. How about religion turning people to terrorist? but on a critical note, the revenue from the cannabis indistry in California alone is more that the total igr of the whole States in Nigeria put together, with tax alone standing at $2billion You want to borrow money to fund drug war? That is how they keep flogging children unnecessarily, the failure of the primary educational system is the faults of adults. They'll keep flogging the innocent Children like Fulani cows, later in adult live they staet exhibiting loyalty tendencies like cow to herders. By the way Fulani's don't treat their kids like this, they are used to flogging cows, natural leaders. |

There is no law in the Nigerian constitution that makes it mandatory for a citizen to sing the national anthem or any other anthem in public or private school, this includes any form of prayers and songs of devotion. We live in a secular state. |
