They are our brothers too let them enjoy the oil money, is it only nations domicile in geographical nigeria that will benefit from minority nations wealth? By mutual arrangement they are dropping more functioning refinery into oil producing areas. Refineries that have the major ethnic groups (Yoruba, hawusa and ibo) working there by quota system and tribalism are not functional, they are obsolete. Even with all the years of experience and wealth they have amassed due to hydrocarbon, they cannot come together to build one functional refinery in their nations. Na dangote use him initiative dey do the needful. Ask una sef who make Nigeria giant of Africa? Na to breed voting crowd or to breed productive humans? Niger delta nations are generous givers, they received freely and give freely. No be only romance? That British map na child's, oil from creek will reach the whole Africa if possible, especially to the smartest allies. |

Back to my department where I've been used as errand boy, everyone there were surprised at the development, though some were not happy for me, while others were having premonition about my new position. Even the HOD was telling me to remain on her side since I already know most of her office secrets, that I shouldn't sell her out. She now gives me all the deserved and undeserved preferential treatments. See how Devil wan use ur brain, oya tell us the secret part, common HOD done buy ur PHD brain take through the help of the spirit. ![]() You wey VC want elevate. Typical black man mentality, even with the raging poverty back then. I'm not going to waste my hope, never again. Now remember how padding of contracts started and how the country came to be fantastically corrupt. The corruption in Gowon's administration culminated in the notorious "cement armada"[23] in the summer of 1975, when the port of Lagos became jammed with hundreds of ships trying to unload cement. Somehow, agents of the Nigerian government had signed contracts with 68 different international suppliers for the delivery of a total of 20 million tons of cement in one year to Lagos, even though its port could only accept one million tons of cargo per year.[24] Even worse, the poorly drafted cement contracts included demurrage clauses highly favorable to the suppliers, meaning that the bill began to skyrocket if the ships sat in port waiting to unload (or even if they sat in their home ports waiting for permission to depart for Nigeria). The Nigerian government did not fully grasp the magnitude of its mistake until the port of Lagos was so badly jammed that basic supplies could not get through. By that time it was too late. Its attempts to repudiate the cement contracts and impose an emergency embargo on all inbound shipping tied up the country in litigation around the world for many years, including a 1983 decision of the U.S. Supreme Court. ~WIKIPEDIA I'm joking, believe at your own peril |

MICHAEL R. POMPEO, SECRETARY OF STATE JUNE 16, 2020 We condemn the recent senseless and brazen killings of civilians in northern Nigeria. In recent weeks, suspected ISIS West Africa militants launched multiple attacks in Borno State, killing more than 120 civilians, including women, children, and the elderly. On June 9, unidentified armed bandits attacked a village in Katsina State, killing dozens. These horrific crimes follow the shooting of a pastor and his pregnant wife on June 1 and the killing of an imam, local village head, and several civilians on June 5 in the course of intercommunal violence in Taraba State. Tens of thousands of civilians have lost their lives in Nigeria in recent years to violent attacks by terrorist groups or criminal gangs, in inter-communal violence, or due to their religious beliefs. The United States calls on the Government of Nigeria to do more to strengthen ongoing efforts to address this violence, hold those responsible accountable, and protect civilians. |
As if there is water sef. 99% of schools in Nigeria have no running water. Even the government offices place bucket water with tap for hand sanitization. The write up applies to all the people living in the geographical space called Nigeria, they live with a form of inherited schizophrenia is a long-term mental disorder of a type involving a breakdown in the relation between thought, emotion, and behaviour, leading to faulty perception. Hence it very evident in the events that occur daily in Nigeria. |

My point of view. The pattern I am noticing now is the style of reporting, if the massacre happens in Bornu axis it is suspected boko haram while in other northern states it is called armed bandits. I am very sure the motive behind all of these massacre is to cause terror to the victims. These boko haram terrorist are residing everywhere in the north, carrying out the one thing they are known for destruction of lives. Nigeria is fast slipping in to a terrorist state. |
